    Took delivery of my model 3 last Monday so this video was perfect timing for me. Already bought mats and got the car ceramic coated. Another accessory that’s awesome for the new 2021 Model 3s is a cup holder insert, it helps keep that area clean and also helps with smaller bottles or cups. Thank you for the other ideas too! I’m def getting mud flaps, the glasses holder and the cubby storage units. Thank you for the time you took to make this 🙏🏽

    Great content as usual. I sold my vette, and we're awaiting the delivery of our Red LR model Y. The delivery date is Novemberish. Had the 50 Amp service installed. And slowly picking up accessories, like the matte screen protector, mud flaps, jack pucks. Next will be the rear spoiler and floor mats. Keep the great content coming.

    I’ve been pricing out various things to do to my new MYP. Gettin’ pricy, kids!
    - All windows with heat rejection film (I live in the south): $1100
    - PPF for just the front facia, hood and side mirrors: $2000 ($6000 for whole car!!)
    - 3D MAXpider floor mats for whole car: $500+
    - and all the little accessories figure about $200.
    I’m doing the windows and front PPF with a couple of dash/console/steering wheel wraps. Gonna have to wait for the rest! Christmas is coming!

    Love your videos Ryan! I'm wondering about the 3dMaxpider front mat fitment. You've shown them several times in this and other videos, and there always appears to be a gap on the side of the driver's mat and a pinch on the passenger mat. Do they really fit this poorly? The backseat mats seem to fit nicely, as well as the cargo mats. But the front two would bug the crap out of me!!! Keep up the great work with these videos; I'm expecting delivery of my Model Y within the next week or so, and your videos have helped me get through my four month wait!!!

    Good video Ryan. I plan on ordering a MY in October. Would I need to get mud flaps for the back too or are the front enough to prevent nicks? For new buyers, the only thing I would have added is maybe getting a NEMA 14-50 outlet as well as the plug. Hi Ryan,
    I enjoy your videos, but wanted to comment on a Teslarati armrest tray organizer you recommended. The front tray organizer works beautifully, however the rear (under armrest) tray does not fit the 2002 Model 3 because there is no front support for it, thus it spills out whatever contents it was holding to the compartment below. I brought this to the attention of Teslarati and they generously offered to refund my money...very decent of them. Their explanation is that the design defect was due to Tesla lack of build quality. Not so sure about that.

    • @RussBakerOhio
      @RussBakerOhio 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Seriously, NO need for an undercoating. Tesla does not offer it. The bottom is protected by a plastic cover. Keep in mind, for the most part, these cars a aluminum or alloys that do not rust. You can forget about the legacy auto deficiencies. 😉

    • @RussBakerOhio
      @RussBakerOhio 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Forget the undercoating and I strongly suggest the clear wrap that Ryan suggested. I did not get it on my model s. After three years of highway driving, there were many rock chips in the hood. Someone backed into me and through insurance, my hood was painted and looked new again. Then I decided it was with protecting and three years later, my hood still looks almost new! I did not wrap the whole car and still believe just wrapping the front was a good decision. { FYI, after painting I had to wait a month for the paint to fully cure before the installer would wrap it.}.

      @@RussBakerOhio thank you! I plan on doing a vinyl wrap to protect the paint because I've read alot about how the paint doesn't hold up very well. Ditching the undercoating idea tho it seems. Appreciate your help

    Bummed that the Tesla Y is not available till October, 2022 (per the Tesla website on 11/15/2021) but pleased that there will be a $1,000 option for a 3,500 lb. trailer hitch.
    I also wish that there was a way to compare Tesla’s interior room to similar cars. Still not sure how interior room would compare to say a Toyota Camry or Honda Accord. And what does the Tesla Y compare to?
    Thank you and again, Well Done.

    Hey can anyone answer what happens when the warranty runs out and your battery pack needs replacing? I hear it’s over 21k out of pocket! With a gas car the drive trains are warranties up to100k miles. I wouldn’t feel comfortable with anything but a lease until they have a better battery warranty!

    • @raider360
      @raider360 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      For Model 3 Standard Range, battery has a 100k or 8 year warranty, and 120k for Long Range Model. So, maybe a quick search before the comments next time

    • @frankpandolfi6662

      You get an 8 year or 100,000 mile warranty. What are you looking for with a "better battery warranty" ?

    • @frankpandolfi6662
      @frankpandolfi6662 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      As someone has already stated, warranty is 8 years and 100K or 120K miles, depending on the trim level. The warranty includes the motor(s) as well.
