Have the same issue on my gx. Taking off a bumper to change a bulb or socket seems a bit extreme . Was that just for demo purposes? The led I got from Amazon were horrible. They didn't even last 1 week. They hyper flashed also.
As for taking the bumper off, if you'er going to solder in new wiring/ sockets for the driving lights, you could probably do it with the bumper on but it will be a pain in the ass. You need the room. Taking the bumper off on the GX takes like 7 minutes, it's not that bad. The bulbs I linked to that I purchased have been working great. Since all my bulbs are LED I do get the hyper flash. Honestly at this point I like it more than the regular flash, I'm in Florida everyone here drives terrible. I feel like the hyper flash is more noticeable to other drivers. Thanks for watching.
great video! Got a question. I keep melting the turn signal holder on the plastic housing of the headlight. Obviously its getting too hot. Is this a wiring issue? If so can I do what you just showed or should I replace the whole cluster? Thx!
Thanks for watching. If you replace the socket and use the same factory bulb it will melt it again. I suggest you use LED bulbs, less heat. Or I believe you can ask the dealer to shut down the turn signal light as the DRL. I read somewhere you can remove that option at the dealer.
@@ClassyTacos The LEDs use less electricity/less resistance. So the flasher unit will blink at double speed to let you know that a bulb is out. It thinks it is since the amount of electricity used is reduced. You can switch the flasher unit to one that works with LEDs or install a resistor for the bulb.

@@ClassyTacos i think im bringing mine to a shop, i can just see the the massive bill coming if they say they have to remove the bumper.
@@ClassyTacos do the wires have to be soldered? can they just be joined with some time of butt connector?
@@nyacoustics8373 They do not have to be soldered, any decent connection will work. I would still solder them. Thanks for watching.

Any issue with hyper flash after installing those led turn signals? Or do they work as intended?
They hyperflash. I’m fine with it. They end up becoming more visible to traffic. Where I drive, that’s a plus. Thanks for watching.

@@oscarwinner2034 thanks for the info. i like the halogens more since the change in out put will be more gradual.
