In deadly when you talk to people like that to try to get them to go vegan/vegetarian you just seem like an asshole whose trying to shove it down their throats and not a convincing nice vegan/vegetarian. Just a tip.
I do agree, it’s not pleasant when anyone tries to push their lifestyle choices on others.
However, the poster here was obviously trying to make a joke (as per emoji), so I don’t think that was why they posted their comment. In fact, if they are themselves vegetarian, then kudos to them for being able to make a joke about it, many people can not seem do so (that’s with any lifestyle choice people can tend to take super-seriously, not just this one).
Though you were very polite in your comment and obviously took pains to not give offense, so you deserve some kudos, as well! I love it when people can stay polite and respectful of others in their comments/posts, gives me hope for civilization! :D

The fact that she takes what bowser would want into consideration just melts my heart.
Wow I never knew Australia was so expensive! I live in the southern US and if we leave our aircon on all the time during the summer we MAY have an electric bill at $200 at the end of the month. And that would be a lot, we usually are around $130 during the hottest months.
Edit: the house turned out so great! Looks really nice.
Kenz Rey Probably not so different if we had the same behaviour, for only touching the aircon when it’s too unbearable not to have it on our bill is $85 USD a month but if we had it on everyday I think we’d be exceeding what you pay - I live in the Aus state with the most expensive power but I’ve also lived in developing countries where it cost far more and we calculated having the aircon on all night would cost more than my salary 😅

Love separated yards! My yard is separated in a way that we can keep the dog from the clothesline - she's obsessed with it. She'll pull clothes, chew the clothesline handle, practically be on top of me if I am at the line, she watches it through a window when inside, etc. It doesn't matter how much we walk her or play with her or what toys she has or if she has her kong. She's obsessed with the clothesline - so weird.
Love white walls but I'm not a fan of white walls for myself because I worry about them winding up dirty looking just from people touching them or pets or something.

The floor won’t get outdated. It’s a classic. My apartment has those floors, and it’s the original from 1951. Trend is a silly thing to call it when there is a timeless piece of craft

The "chevron" floorboards are actually called herringbone, and whilst they're trendy now they are actually an old, more traditional style, so even if the pinterest lovers all go off of it soon it still holds it's own value long-term :)

This will sound like a stupid question, but how are your house and/or apartment builds so good? When I decide to build they always end up looking like a brick box with a roof, door and windows.
Hi Deli! I love the contrast between your ideal homes and your more realistic homes, like how you tend to put shelves with stackable bowls and glasses in other kitchens, but you wouldn’t in your IRL home bc of dust 😆 i like these kinds of details that you talk about.

SimKitty I agree, her builds are beautiful! I seem to learn a new building/deco tip or trick in every video, but especially her tutorial ones. I think her gallery ID is Schnuck01 or something like that, for anyone interested.
There are so many talented builders for this game (but none of them are me lol).
Girl look up tiny developments on the gallery! she makes the most amazing jokes ever and the majority of them are base game or pack limited
When you're from Sweden and think that building houses in Australia is really affordable 😔✊🏻 (I have been comparing with Grand Designs Australia and general house building costs in Sweden)
@Naturewomenproductions That is not acutally true. I am living in sweden and that is incorrect. It cost millions of swedish crowns. My parents has a house that has 3 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, their house cost 5 million swedish crowns. and we live on country side as well

Naturewomenproductions yeah it depends on location. If you buy/build a house in the northern parts of Sweden I imagine it would be a lot cheaper, but then you have other higher living costs like transportation and being able to find a job that’s not to far from your kids’ schools and the grocery store etc.
i think deli just built a dream home like two months ago but thats perfectly fine because i enjoy her builds so much that i'll sit back and watch no matter what it is

Hiii. I’m working on my masters in Interior Design and I watch your videos to destress. I wanted to answer some of your questions in case you ever want to plan more seriously or were just curious. Your first sketches were actually really good if you ever go to an architect or ID make sure to bring those bc those really are our first steps. All our sketches look like chicken scratch at first don’t worry. Exposed brick is actually less expensive in ground up builds as you don’t have to use as much material (it’s expensive if you’re trying to remove it from an existing building like in a renovation). Natural light has been proven to be incredibly beneficial to people’s lives and can cut down a lot of aircon costs. I would suggest using brick if you want to insult the house nicely and avoid high costs for utilities. (It keeps it warm when it’s cold and cold when it’s warm as it’s a more natural material)

Yeah, cantilevers can get pretty pricey depending on how far out they are and what materials you use to support it. I love this house though, it is so unique!!

It’s pretty normal for the stairs to be like that in Britain, with the stairs right there when you open the front door. On house estates most of the houses are like that

Dear Deli, always when I watch you I end up looking for new cc. Especially when you use them in your builds.
Let's just say that, having the stairs by the entrance where it snows really is a bad move 😂
We have it in my house and every time we go up the stairs during wintertime, we have wet socks 😂
About the noise pollution; my dad lives in a two story house RIGHT by the street where cars and buses passes every single minute of the day. He has tall fence like that and let me tell you; though the fence cancels the sound out a little bit you can still FEEL the buses, the vibrations and uughghhh it's so annoying. So to my point; downstairs is so much less noisy than upstairs. I had my bedroom upstairs before I moved out and I didn't sleep for those two years I lived there. Whenever I got so sick and tired that I couldn't take it anymore I slept on the couch... downstairs, since the noise was better there.
So the studio should be downstairs, but in Sims everything's possible! But if you want to build this house in the future you could just sound proof the walls!

Wow! We live in Florida and we leave our AC on 68° 24/7 because it’s so hot. Our electric bill is usually around $200.
Since you have so much space upstairs maybe you could make a terras or a balcony with some plants and chairs to enjoy the sun!

Don’t forget that scaling in the sims compared to real life is not 100% accurate, that’s why it’s so hard replicate real life houses in the sims! So, this house that you’ve just made might look massive in the sims but it could look smaller in real life?
