Fun design fact: those separate seating in hotel lobbies and mansions are called seating clusters. They do that to fill the space and also offer seating for more people, since an idea seating cluster should not be more than 6-8 people and usually not over 12ft away from each other. A really common way to separate these seating clusters is by using area rugs 😊
I really like the switch between speed build and real-time, but if I had to choose between the two it would be real-time. Love seeing the thought process

Agreed! I like to try to upload my creations onto the gallery with as few expansions as possible as I know a lot of people may only be able to play with the base game and not be comfortable with custom content.

I loved the mix of speed build a live building! It made the video feel longer, and more fulfilling. It was cute that the sims showed off the entryway, when you first walked in, and then worked out when you went in there, and walked out of the house as you finished the tour! 😉

Deli, thank you so much for this build. Ive been playing the sims since the launch of sims 1. I always wanted to play this family, but the house was so awful, that for me, it made it impossible. I could have just replaced the house, but I felt that took away from the family story. Your Renovation is perfect. Now im happily, finally, playing this household. Thank you again!

A long time ago I did that and all the main rooms were white or black but the persons rooms were different colors and the people were also rainbow themed
@@cadence7110 I did something like that too. Mine was a mother and her kids and the mom was all white like white light then the kids were the colors of the rainbow. The whole house was white and so was the mom's room but the kids rooms and such were in their colors.

I like the speedbuild/realtime combo for situations like this where you are mostly adjusting fiddle things and it's really easy to see what you are doing in the speedy portion and then we get more in depth with the details.
I like the mix of the speed build and then real-time building too. It is refreshing :)

I seriously just finished renovating this build for my save file. I have a spa, gym, and a home photography studio. Even an extra basement room for the butler😁. Very nicely built Maddie!
I like the combo of speed build and live build. Easy way to zoom through boring or complicated parts without completely taking it out.
I prefer longer real time builds, but still love speed builds and everything you upload ❤️
I like the concept of the shell and landscaping being a speedbuild but the furnishing being like not a speedbuild if you know what I mean xD

challenge idea: randomize one pack of each type of pack, game, stuff, expansion. build a house with ONLY those packs. do not use base game except if you dont have an object. if it looks bad it doesnt matter its a challenge. thx for the amamzing vids deli

The packs i do have our Cats and Dogs, StrangerVille, and Sims University. I like the switching it up between speed build and real time build. It makes it more EXCITING! Personally I like real-time build because I like to hear the thinking process lol but this way is PERRRRRRFECT!

I like that you updated the house but still kept key parts of the original architecture and the pops of colour that the original house had but more tasteful and modern. Really loved this build Deli!

I love this style of build!! I always love speed builds but sometimes it zooms too fast through the interior design but when doing landscaping and outdoor it's best sped up. Perfect balance !

i like the switching it up, that way you can ffw through parts you know will just get completely redone, or take a lot of time but are less interesting that the rest of the build, and still have the real-time building for all the fun stuff

I 100% prefer building in real time, I love seeing it as you’re doing it! I wish so badly more simmers would build like that rather than a full commentary after the decorating. Also please never stop doing the walk-through camera angle at the end! It’s soooo much better than individual pictures, makes it so we can really see the layout 😸
