This is really helpful. How to setup a live view of a particular camera on a website frame for public to view? This is show the the parking lot or grounds.

Thanks for the good explanation. If i have a WiFi camera would i still need to connect an ethernet cable from the camera to the internet router or can the internet connection be via wifi ?

    Great video!
Would you be able to explain how we access the cameras remotely via P2P (access platform) when our ISP IP is dynamic, not static?

    You're so awesome 👌
    Thank you so much
The only pad think with dahua products is that (the middle east products have a deferment software 🤔) so I couldn't configure recordings to sd card with motion mode
So I hope to make some updates from dahua company itself
    Thanks again

I added a Dahua IP camera to my NVR by ONVIF protocol no problem. I have a second NVR for dual recording but can't seem to connect to that same camera using the same camera configurations that worked on the first NVR. Any ideas? Both NVRS have separate IPs and are on the same network.

How do you delete the recordings? I don't see any way to delete them besides formatting the SD card.

Thanks for the video !! I understood a lot of things that I didn't know until today, now I'm looking for a software that allows me to record my cameras on my PC, which one do you recommend? preferably not dependent on the internet

I just got a Dahua IP camera and connected it to my router and it was given an IP address from the DHCP. I used IP config tool to find the IP and then got into the camera webui. No need to change the adapter settings on my computer

I wouldn't buy a Dahua, even if its free. I have one, a version 4.0, and it's still problematic with Live video. The images in Live capture seen on screen freeze, float, lag and zip from one end of the screen to the other end in an instant, or appear mid screen and then vanish. Plus cars tend to race at one time and then slow down. And the other problem is, images smear on screen. Interesting, isn't it? I paid big money for this Chinese rubbish. But that not all, every single night it sends false notificationswhen it rains, it detects car headlights glow from the wet surface, even though it's settings are at the lowest, as you know these shit boxes with super bright headlights send beam of lights straight up and into the cameras, triggering them repeatedly, or even from car lights shining from parked cars. Plus, there is no support from Dahua itself. Its all about Questions and Answers, where you type a question in the search field and a list of answers appear in other pages, even though they arent even the answers youre looking for. The nightmare with this Dahua brand goes on and on like a never ending story, and people seem to like this expensive rubbish. Then they come here and ask for help of comment about it, as if it is a great device? LOL 🙄
