People wondering why he is throwing packages, those are from DSW. He knows they are shoes and won't damage them by giving a toss.
Its always the black and white striped boxes and the damn rackroom shoe boxes

As far as I know all drivers for FedEx are contracted through outside owners. They keep costs down by giving the drivers crappy secondhand trucks and never repair them. The place I work for most of the contractors don't even have heat/air in the trucks.
flex tape of course
I feel like every profession or job should have one of these to give people the real view of how these jobs really are. This will save a lot of people’s time.
Ong cuz idk wtf possessed me to work at Publix I wouldn’t if someone told me about the constant movement thing where u gotta always do sum even if there ain’t shit to do so u gotta go in and out the door like u doing shi which gets annoying and then washing buggies w ungreatful ass ppl and then circling the fukn store w ugly ass wipes to wipe everything out then Waffle House over work you for your pay cuz ppl don’t tip
People scared of showing how “shit” theres jobs are, but to me its a geniune person with a job and not like others that just show you how good their life is and flex on you

I am a loader and I can tell you I always to the best job. My drivers are genuinely angry when someone else does their load.
Thank you for doing a good job. I drive a transit/sprinter, so I load my own vehicle, but the way my PH sorts my load on the pallets is incredibly important. I have one PH who does a great job. Everything is well grouped by SID. Then I have a couple other PHs who fucking suck. I had one on Friday who had SIDs scattered all throughout my 200 packages. Maybe 50% of it was in order, the rest of it was random. I already had a really heavy day lined up, his inability to care about doing a good job of just straight up being stupid AF really fucked my whole day up, big time. I dispatched an hour later than normal, ended up not being able to find a bunch of packages, and got back to the hub at 8:30pm. Next time I see him I'm going to rip him a new asshole.

I think they might lose marketshare once amazon implements stage 2 of their own delivery service. Probably why they dont do a 100% upgrade, but they do have some of these but in hybrid version i believe, super quiet.

@@peterbenson56 I have a feeling that car safety is still not so important to people in the USA as in Europe.
Fortunately in Europe we don't use this kind of trucks, delivery trucks are usually some mordern Ivecos, Mercedes Sprinters or other brands.
@@ArtificialFertilizer fr though.
@@ArtificialFertilizer A lot of companies here in the United States are using Sprinters and Ford Transits, but for the shipping giants, it'll be a while before they change. UPS here. Can’t believe you are in a manual. I hope you get into an automatic soon. FedEx Ground seems more relaxed on safety rules than UPS, but then again, our safety rules are meant to be broken. The Company covers their arses on everything. Great work pace. Stay safe
Lol, for real. Some of the "rules" at FedEx are obviously not real rules and are just there to technically cover their asses.
Yeah, don't speed, obey parking laws, don't do anything unsafe in general, but you need to load your van with 200 packages, many of which are large and 100-150 pounds wink wink (some over 150 pounds, but the weight is fudged to not have to send it over to FXF), wait for the sort to get done late most of the time so you don't get out of the hub until 10am, drive 45 minutes to your first stop (if traffic is good), proceed to make 140 stops that are two to three minutes apart from each other on average, factor in the time it takes to park, get the package, and get it to the front door, factor in things that might go wrong (something will always go wrong), drive 45 minutes to an hour back to the hub to make it back at a reasonable time. A lot of routes are fucking ridiculous and get FUCKED a lot of days. My vehicle should not have so many packages that it is literally packed TIGHT floor to ceiling. I should be able to use my shelves and be able to access them well before unloading half my van.

Not really. If only it was automatic
Yeah it's fun to drive this for a day or 2
Everybody tripping about “tossing packages” you all gotta chill lol... we FedEx drivers do this job everyday we do this shit for a LIVING. You wanna see thrown boxes? There’s plenty on TH-cam that were caught on peoples ring bells. I’ll start vlogging my route on a regular basis and I can show you how hard we all work. UPS, FedEx, amazon, USPS - we all work very hard. The biggest/heaviest stuff all goes thru FedEx ground cuz our weight limit is 150 lbs. It’s not uncommon to deliver appliances, furniture, trampolines etc. People on TH-cam who vlog this job make it LOOK easy cuz they show you the good stuff. The job is not easy and that’s why most people quit within the first couple weeks. The main key to sticking around in FedEx ground and making decent money is first finding a good contractor to work for. A lot of them are scumbags and very grimy, and sometimes you have to go through a couple of them to find a good one. The second key is the most obvious, and that’s being good at your job. You’re working with deadlines and you have to work through all elements, including weather, construction etc. This job is not “hop in the truck, turn your GPS on and drop off packages” trust me, it’s way deeper than that if you wanna be successful and make decent money. UPS obviously pays more than all other carriers, but there’s money to be made in FedEx ground. It’s not a cake walk and you will be put to the test physically and mentally. There’s plenty of days where you will feel like parking the truck and leaving it wherever it is. When it’s pouring rain and it’s 40 degrees out and you’re delivering 2 sofas to a house that has a porch with 4 flights of stairs leading to their front door... it’s not a cake walk. Shouts to everybody out there who works in this field !!!

@@DanSambrano I know, thats why I said if only FedEx did, not the contractors.
@@DanSambrano you just got oofed on
@@Logan-Whatsittoya Not so much. What he said doesn't really make sense. That's saying although you work for one company, another company should take care of you. No business works that way.
Question guys.. Are the packages set up in the truck based on routes.. Or do you have to go through all of them to find which one belongs to an address?.. If that makes sense
7:21 when your package says FRAGILE on it
you know you have worked for a delivery company to long when you know the boxs by the tape.
Lol so true!
I AGREE TIM AND HIDE. I delivered for a major food supplier for years and then delivered soda pop before that. But I could just drop my ramp and in the truck, I could almost just look at the boxes and could know which ones went in that store. Not all the time but. most of the time. But I know what you me what you mean about the tape. We had stickers on our freight with numbers telling us what number to pull for that store. I later blew my back out and now I'm sitting at home on Disability. 60 years old and my driving days are over. Had one back surgery and waiting to have another.
Brian B. Hope for a speedy, good recovery man
Some days I look back and all I see is Chewy. I hate Chewy lol

I work for Amazon and my daily route is 188 stops and 300 plus packs. My wave starts at 10am first stop at 1030am and done by 4pm
Yall get paid like 15 bucks though, come to ups we do the same shit fam
Frankie Vee but you guys drive old military tanks and get way heavier loads we mostly have envelopes and mid size boxes :)
My average day is like 8 stops and it's usually just like rolls of carpet or large spools or electrical wire and such so it's basically roll up and let them do the work.
Small packages are cake lol try carrying couches and treadmills up three flights of stairs by yourself. Your numbers are non comparable 😂
@@markcarter6558 Yeah I just drop it at their driveway. They can figure out how to get into their own home.
I really enjoy the freedom he has no nagging boss around over his neck lol
For real, obviously I don't know what he makes but it could definitely be worse
@@fml5910 I'm sure they do track your productivity. If you're better than the other drivers that works in your favor though. Plus watching you electronically is still better than being in an office and having a boss looking over your shoulder
@@fml5910 Nope. It depends on the contractor you work for. Out of all of the ones at my station, I work for the best one. Sometimes, I don't hear from my boss for a week and even then, it's me calling him with a question. He's the least imposing boss I've ever had.
Approx $850 (after tax) per week. No health insurance, no pto, no 401k, no paid vacation.
@GuiltyKing27 For the young ones coming in and willing to put in the work, that can definitely be worth it. Have a plan though. 2-3yrs and get out!
My dad did this for 22 years. He’s glad to be done lol
Omg my Dad too
How much is the pay seems kinda fun to work as a delivery driver
Crispy Chknwings they pay really well with good benefits I work for ups as a loader and most the drivers tell me they make $35 an hour but that’s depending how long you’ve been with the company a lot of drivers get retirement pretty early compared to people in other careers too
Crispy Chknwings I work at ups and it does depend on seniority ( how long you’ve been there ) and the pay can go all the way up into 50-55 dollars an hour. Good pay but honestly it is a shitty job and people can’t wait to retire. + benefits are very nice it’s worth the money u give to the union
No wonder my packages are late love how he casually says I’m Hella late for work and continues to make a shake lol
😂
this man really recorded him self launching packages
lmaoo
I hate to break it to you(lol no I don’t), but all of your packages are thrown like that , I’ve seen how shipping and receiving actually works.
Absolutely. I am a manager a FedEx inside where they load trucks for delivery. Truuuuust when I say that nothing is handled as it should be.
Jay Flo I think at this point everyone should know that if the package is throwable it will be thrown.
Jay Flo soooo if you are the manager over seeing this why wouldn’t you fix the situation.
3:30 I thought he said "I'm a lil high, n sweaty." Started dying lmao
This guy is why my fedex packages so slow to get to my door
C u 😂😂😂😂😂
Try it sometime. When we hire for a position we usually go through 3 candidates before one finally can do it. Plus we DON'T get paid by the hour and most don't even have benefits like insurance or 401K. UPS makes about twice what we do so if you want to complain about your service, just make sure your order is shipped via UPS...problem solved.
@@janos9969 My apologies.
As a UPS driver myself, you sir shouldn't be the one complaining unless you paid for express service. If not then I suggest you be patient and wait for it to get to you just like the other 150+ customers who are waiting for theirs too that same day. Yes I know you have been waiting all day for your package because while you waited so anxiously 8 to 10 hours sitting on your couch under that blazing sun or cold rain wondering what time you would get off that couch to go see your family we have been working all day just to deliver our one and only stop we get each day that for some reason it takes us 10+ hours to do. Enjoy the rest of the day
Janos im confused what leads you to believe that he was being sarcastic ??
Me looking at the truck: “Is that old thing even roadworthy?”
Tell me why I was waiting for him to sprint back to his truck after delivering a package
Lmao
Not gonna lie... This doesn’t look as bad as I was expecting.
I'm a part-time driver for a local company while I go to college and it's a good job as long as you like driving and don't mind the traffic every once in awhile!
Yeah seems really chill. I always liked working alone anyways. You can just listen to podcasts and music most the day.
Plus fedex drivers don’t even have to load the truck themselves in the morning, that’s my job, the package handler
This is pretty much the adult version of hearing the ice cream truck theme, hear that sound of fed ex coming and instant smile on face.
That's a bit creepy. There I think you got tooken in the back of someone's ice cream truck but turns out it was just a white pedo van
So true.
I'm a driver for FedEx Express. We have to offload and sort our own stops. No package handlers, except during peak. I drive a rural route on a 4/10 shift. (4 10hr days per week) My route averages around 60 to 70 stops and I cover around 220 to 250 miles daily.
Wow that’s a lot of miles!
