Cute bridge
That was a perfect shot. I was thinking the same about a picnic area. I think you came upon a party house. Pretty bridge and area. Im sure you had fun at the meet up. Stay safe.❤❤❤❤
🎉😊❤beautiful bridge and area!
Cute little bridge; too bad some people need to deface nice things. Thanks for sharing!
That hook was likely to tie your horse when you stopped to water.
Thanks for another awesome video
Chevron !!
COoooool
I’m wondering if that old iron handle sticking out of the mortar was a handle of some sort for the men to carry and stack those massive rocks
Fantastic job
Truck drove into the covered bridge in Lehigh county by the zoo and game preserve. Damage to the roof structure.
I think covered bridges are so neat. I hate to see graffiti on it. Some people just don't care about what other generations will see. Thanks for the video, though; it was a good one!
The little building sits over top of a well. About 30 years ago i was there to photograph the bridge and at that time there was a cast iron old hand pump on the porch area where somebody has placed a cut stumpy log. I called the building a "pump house" at the time. The junk that is inside there now was not there years ago when i was there. As I recall, there wasn't anything really inside at the time. Things are completely over grown now. There also was a farmhbouse there also maybe 100 - 150 feet back from the bridge. That appeares to be gone as it was set back from the road.
❤❤❤
You ought to come to New Jersey and visit our covered bridge in Hunterdon County.
Did you notice the end opposite from where you Parked is no longer truly square? Bit saggy. This old bridge sure needs some care to keep it standing for many more years.
Cliff wants to bust through the bridge block illegally!! 🤣🤣🤣
Cliff,
I saw a 2008 picture of the bridge on Google Earth and the lead in road wasn't there.
It doesn't g anywhere so either it was moved tor that location or the former road is A.
The "new" one alongside it or
B. Wiped out by farming the land.
I couldn't find much about it, but possibly some
"Old Timer" in the town would know.
I hope it can be fixed.
Cheers,
Rik Spector
When are you going to get Dana and Mercy back out hiking???
Maybe,...the "bridge tender's"....lil' shack...?? Just a thought.
