I just landed my first halfcab flips today. After mastering halfcabs and kickflips this trick felt pretty easy to learn.

I cant halfcab flip i can flip it perfect, but I cant seem to catch it the board does halfcab but my body doesn't spin all the way.

@@LuisBuuueno try learning full cabs first, it'll get your body accustomed to the rotation (270° then skooching the last part always worked for me).

I learned my first half flip just playing a game of skate. The guy did a half cab first then i tried and landed it but sketchy. I was practicing varial flips the day before so then i attempted half cab flip as he gave me support. Within 2-3 tries i landed my first half cab flip.

I landed this before and more often that a fakie kickflip. Fakie varials were easier than fakie kick flips for me, than I progressed to half cab flips.

I got this down as one of my first trucks when I used to skate 10 years ago.
1. Pop Shuvit
2. Kickflip
2. Varial flip
3. Heelflip
4.Varial Heel
5. Half cab flip
Then fakie 360, nollie 360, etc...
I just haven't gotten down inward heels and hardflips.
