I am brand new to Torah. Started at Genesis to reread my Bible with an open mind. One thing I am already convinced of is keeping The Sabbath. I am also trying to clean up my diet. So far I have observed one Shabbat and will be observing again today at sunset. Thank you for pointing out pertinent scripture. Shalom.
The Mosaic law was fulfilled by Christ after his death, resurrection and ascension into heaven. The one thing that proves it was three and a half years later Holy spirit was poured out at Pentecost 33CE to 120 people in the upper room. The new covenant was put into force. The Mosaic law was no longer in force. There is a huge different between destroying the law and fulfilling it, which Christ fulfilled. The problem with keeping the Mosaic law is that Christians would have to live by the same dietary restrictions that are in the Mosaic law. Also you would have to stone to death anyone breaking the laws that called for stoning like adultery. Plus Jewish born Christians couldn't associate with Gentile Christians. All of this goes against what the New Testament teaches. Even going against the very things that Paul wrote about. Paul disciplined Peter at Antioch for not eating with his Gentile brothers and sister. If Christians had to keep the Mosaic law then Paul would be in the wrong for disciplining Peter which would contradict the holy writings. That proves the Christians are not under the Mosaic law. Christians have bible principles that are learned from the Mosaic law and other parts of the old testament that has nothing to do with the laws of Moses that we must obey.
Christianity has been passed down an incomplete or poor interpretation of scriptural understanding. Studying the word fulfill would be a start. If you deem the word fulfill as “no longer” than I guess righteousness isn’t by faith any longer since that was fulfilled by Abraham in James 2. That certainly isn’t the case, so one must read was their interpretation of the word. Additionally, the new covenant is to the house of Israel & house of Judah writing the law on the hearts. No one teaching one another - we are still doing that. There is no house of gentile, but we are grafted into Israel through Yeshua. Both houses have not joined. The Sabbath, dietary laws and Feast of Tabernacles are implemented in the millennial kingdom. What God says forever is forever. He does not change, Scripture says. If he changes his standards than how exactly is he not imparting partiality when destroying Sodom, but Christian’s can do what they want? Nobody has been judged yet. The law shows sin, and has never saved. It’s always been by faith. We DO because He DID! “If you love me keep my commandments.” The law is a reflection of God’s holiness and if that’s done away with according to. Christianity….what is that saying?! Yeshua, Paul, Steven were all accused of going against the law and they defended the law & modeled it. It was the man-made law that they refuted! A transformed heart through sanctification loves God’s instruction and desires Him & His will. Encouraging people in disobedience guarantees you to be least in the kingdom, scripture says. Pray for wisdom & a heart for understanding.
It was Romans 11 that caught my attention, where Paul talks about the Gentiles being grafted into the Jewish olive tree. And I wondered why I had never heard a sermon on Romans 11, neither in the Catholic church in which I grew up, nor in an evangelical or Pentecostal-type church. So I began doing some digging on my own. One Sunday I came home from church and looked in the yellow pages to look for a church that wasn't so large as the one I'd been attending, as I found it almost impossible to get to know anyone. Under the 'B' in the yellow pages, I found a Messianic congregation .... and the ad said it was a congregation of Jews and Gentiles together. That was my beginning in a Messianic atmosphere. I have learned SO much in the last 10 years or so. A few years ago I wrote a book entitled 'GRAFTED IN the Jewish Olive Tree.' It is available on Amazon.
+Christopher Eaton That sounds like cultist brainwashing; but, I'll give you a chance: Explain Romans 11:17. 1. If the elect are the olive tree, who are the branches that were broken off prior to Paul speaking in the PAST tense? 2. Since there were no "elect" prior to the crucifixion, according to Christian dogma, your Calvinism must differentiate between the saved "elect" and the saved gentiles that Paul is writing to. On what basis? 3. If you are going to claim that the saved gentiles Paul is writing to are included in the "elect", then how are they grafted into themselves? 4. Your only recourse is to say that when someone is "grafted in" they become equal to the (elect) root/tree. But, then, you have to explain vs. 22 which says that if the new branches (root) do not continue "in His kindness" they will be cut off as were the branches in vs. 17. Yet, if God "cuts off" the root/tree it will die. Is that His plan? No. Israel is the root. Their covenant is forever.
E. Maureen Moss blessings Im starting to search for the truth as well but I don't know where to start. Do u know where I can find a church like this in nassau county in long Island. Im having a battle in my soul my mind and I cant rest in peace. Thanks for your respond.
Being verbally attacked does NOT necessarily mean you are on the right track. It means someone is reacting in an unhealthy way. They could have been triggered or just angry 😠 at what was being shared. People’s lack of maturity is NOT a sign YOU are ‘RIGHT’ that is a ego and pride based response itself to think that !
I am sorry but the fact is Constantine did change all this stuff, and it was an abomination that he did. Now this not personal at all, but we have learned lies, and we need to repent
This was my experience, I was reading the Bible a few years ago before I found out what Torah or Hebrew Roots was. I questioned everything why "Christians" we're not doing what the Bible says. Me being Christian realized there is more I needed to be doing. Thank you for the videos!
Wanie- What "more" do you need to be doing? Are you trying to become righteous by your law keeping? For by the deeds of the law no flesh shall be justified". (Romans 3:20) This verse means that no one will be declared righteous in God's sight by the works of the law, rather, through the law we become conscious of our sin and therefore must look to Christ and obtain His faith in order to please God.
In other words Constantine was the first to start tickling the ears of Christians who want the reward of the kingdom without the obedience to the word. Olsteen,Jakes, Graham and the likes have just carried on the tradition. There is nothing new under the sun. The great falling away is in full effect
@@curtisball7189 was he? Why cant he get his story straight in Acts? At Acts 9:3-8, Paul was blinded by a light and fell down, then heard Jesus, who told Paul that he would be told what to do when he was in the city. His men did not see the light, but heard the voice. They remained standing. At Acts 22:6-11, Paul told the people he was blinded by a light and fell down, then heard Jesus, who again told Paul that he would be told what to do when he was in Damascus. This time, his men saw the light but, unlike Paul, were not blinded, and did not hear the voice. At Acts 26.13-19, Paul told Agrippa that he saw a brilliant light and heard Jesus, who Paul says spoke in Greek proverbs and gave him his mission, but did not command him to go to Damascus. He fell down, but there is no mention of blindness, nor is there any mention of the men seeing or hearing anything, although for some reason they also fell down. He told those at Damascus and Jerusalem about his conversion experience. So which of those is true and what happened to the every eye seeing his return? Jesus said he would never be in the wilderness and not to believe anyone who said otherwise

The Bible was written through Hebrews. Constantine started interpreting the Bible by Western philosophy rather than Hebrew wisdom. He brought philosophers- especially Plato- into the mix. The reason that there are so many different denominations is that the western world interprets the Bible based on Western thinking rather than Hebrew wisdom
It is so frustrating when I talk with my friends who worship "churchianity" and try to find bible verses to justify their false teachers and following them, when for every verse they pull from if they read the whole chapter they would read the truth of the scriptures and not the religion of their church, but talking to someone who takes "pride" in their faith which is an abomination to YHWH, they would stop regurgitating the scriptures and finally see with their eyes, hear with their ears and not with their pride
The Torah is life, the Sabbath reminds us who the creator the eternal who in six days created the heaven and the earth and the seventh day rested we as followers of the messiah are to keep the Sabbath. And the Torah not what justinius tells us but what scripture tells us
I am on a huge spiritual journey right now, seeking God, truth, etc. I started looking into this all a few months ago and my eyes started opening. I’ve been raised Christian but something always seemed to be missing. My whole family are Christians and I have no one on board with me. My family thinks I’m crazy or says what I am starting to believe sounds more like a cult. I keep trying to tell them to re-read the Bible and they will see what I’m talking about. That churches don’t teach what the scripture actually say. There is so much were missing and not doing. I watched a special documentary on Masianic Jews about a year ago, way before I started my researching and even then I remember saying to my husband, “it feels like this, masianic Jews, is the closest to what I believe inside. Now I know what Matthew 7:13 is referring to. “Enter in by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and many are those who enter in by it.” Most of the world believe what the masses teach. I never actually read all the Bible and scriptures in the past like you guys said, til now, I’m reading and studying and it’s all making sense now. If we are to take the Bible literal and do what the scriptures actually say, it would be a complete different mind set and way of worshipping. Thank you for this & helping to confirm I am on the correct path now and I can worship my creator properly and know His truths. It’s ALL in His scriptures.

+Crystal Miller You are not Hebrew The Hebrews are those from the lineage of Jacob, his direct descendants Jesus clearly said, "I am the way, the truth and the life, NO MAN OR WOMAN comes to the father except through me" He is a gate we enter in unto righteousness, and once in, we are now children of God, sons and daughters of the promise, heirs of salvation, no longer slaves to the requirements of the law, although the law lives in us. Going back to the Old Covenant which was merely a shadow of that which is real (Christ) you are shutting the gate (Christ's blood on the cross) in the face of the Father and cannot by any means receive salvation.
+geshnizusa You could be a little bit more gentle and correct the political incorrect word usage by the proper term. Remember Jesus was a teacher we should strive to be like him...
cory wolf ...which the builders rejected. Let's look at the passage in context shall we? "As you come to him, the living Stone rejected by humans but chosen by God and precious to him, you also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. For in Scripture it says: “See, I lay a stone in Zion, a chosen and precious cornerstone, and the one who trusts in him will never be put to shame.” 1 Peter 2:1-6 This cornerstone which God has laid is for the NEW building otherwise it would have already been laid down. This new building, of which we are living stones is built on the new foundation of Christ's blood, a New Covenant. Jesus destroyed the old temple and rebuilt it again through His resurrection, remember?

It’s not wrong to say God. Even the jews don’t say Yah. They say Hashem or Adonai. And it’s not wrong to call Yeshua Jesus. That how He has been known by many and He has accepted them and heard their and your prayers. He went by both Yeshua and Iesou (possibility of the I pronounced as ‘J’ by some) and in anycase that’s what happens with names. They get transliterated or pronounced differently. Even the Mexicans and Hispanics call me something different or not even by my name and I still love and recognize them. I prefer my actual name, but then it wouldn’t feel natural for me if they were to try calling me by my full name in English. Don’t get caught up in the sacred name thing. Call Jesus Yeshua if you will. Calling God Yah is actually not the way to go. God said, “Tell them I Am has sent me to you” and Jesus said, “Pray this way: Our Father Who art in Heaven...”

Just ignore everyone and open the bible for yourself. Step 2.. read w/o presupposition of "dispensationalism". Do that and it all becomes clear. God never had different laws for different people at different times. Rather there are eternal laws and on top of them are covenants.
What I never understood is how can anyone argue against keeping the commandments...They are easy to keep..Don't kill people dude...Don't steal..Don't sleep with you friends wife or anyone's wife...Ect...Why would you want to join a group of people who refuse to obide by them rules...The only thing in the old testament I wouldn't do today is sacrifice Animals...There is no longer a need for that...Yeshua was the last sacrifice..
Hey Timothy the 4th commandment is often " changed" to be any day and not include the Biblical Feast days, as are the dietary laws and niddah observances and tzitziot. The following of these and the cleanliness instructions to be Holy before a Holy God aren't popular as it makes us different from church doctrines that pronounce God's Instructions are supposedly not important anymore. You are right about the animals ....unless you are a cleansed Levitical Priest and a cleansed Temple like Ezekiel's vision is rebuilt in Jerusalem as per the instructions there is no legitimate place or way to do such offerings. ☺
I subscribed to both of your channels years ago. I 100 percent agree with your mindset and the truth as it is written in the Bible. @@ByDesign333 Jesus was a jew and the first believers were jews and he taught them so they could teach us. But Rome ran them out as did the nonbelieving jews. Do some homework.
@@ByDesign333 I suggest your understanding of Judaising is inaccurate. If you look at the Greek in Galations the Circumcision Paul says that will make Christ useless to you and not continuing in the Spirit is applied to anthropos which is both men and women. Paul actually circumcised a believer physically himself and the Torah instructs those males wanting to keep Passover to to be physically circumcised which is commanded of those in the community of faith with One Law for All people of faith in the Bible God. The actual process called Judaising referred to by Paul as wrong relates to the Proselyte process of Judaism that requires a gentile to become Jewish as a naturalisation program to have access to God's Covenant and the promises made to the Fathers' Abraham Isaac & Israel. It is a dogma of men very much like what churches do to have a candidate come into their version of what faith in Christ is. It also attached by Jewish thinking the Convert to the (passing away ) Sinai Covenant animal sacrifice for atonement and did not avail them of the indwelling Holy Spirit either. Pretty poor deal!! The vow after a year or so of being taught the Rabbinic regulations and interpretation of Torah was sealed for men with a physical Circumcision after a mikveh ( baptism ) & for women a mikveh as well and then they were considered Jewish for table fellowship & marriage as now regarded completed Jews. What most Christians don't realise is that the gentiles who accepted this work of man made law to be saved made a vow to keep all the Law of Judaism of TAKANOT that in various places opposed the Law of God given to Moses. It also not only broke God's Law it also made the convert to Judaism responsible for providing their own atonement for sin as they had rejected Christ's blood as the way into the New Covenant. Yep Christ was useless and they had to be perfect in Torah for hope of Salvation 😬🖐️

Some of my suggestions for those seeking the truth about the Bible: No. 1 and most important: Read what the Bible says, NOT what you've been told that it says. Simple example: "Hark, the Herald Angels Sing..." WHERE does the Bible say that angels sing? (You might want to reread Luke 2:13 - special emphasis on the last word. Seems that if angels sing, the birth of the son of God would be a prime time to.) Tradition is okay if it doesn't contradict the Bible. (Thinking Jewish [Talmud], Catholic [edicts of the councils of Nicea, which are followed by most of Christianity], Mormon [the Book of Mormon is full of contradictions to the Bible], etc.) Compare versions, and read footnotes in any version in which you can find them. Many times, you'll find that a well-known "scripture" has been added. Did Yeshua declare all foods clean (Mark 7_19)? No, that's a spurious line, and besides, that's not what he was talking about. First of all, if the Creator, who invented food, says that we shouldn't eat something, that something is not food. Highest priority should be to "Study to show yourself approved to God as a workman who ... knows how to rightly interpret the Word of Truth."
Nothing disappearing from the law EPHESIANS 2:8, “FOR BY GRACE YE ARE SAVED THROUGH FAITH AND THAT NOT OF YOURSELVES IT IS A GIFT OF GOD AND NOT OF WORKS LEST ANY MAN SHOULD BOAST”.

Acts 10: 10-16 He became hungry and wanted something to eat, and while the meal was being prepared, he fell into a trance. 11 He saw heaven opened and something like a large sheet being let down to earth by its four corners. 12 It contained all kinds of four-footed animals, as well as reptiles and birds. 13 Then a voice told him, “Get up, Peter. Kill and eat.”14 “Surely not, Lord!” Peter replied. “I have never eaten anything impure or unclean.”15 The voice spoke to him a second time, “Do not call anything impure that God has made clean.”16 This happened three times, and immediately the sheet was taken back to heaven.

I was converted on 17th July 1999 at 10:30am. I didn't ask to be saved and I didn't want to be saved, but I was. I was saved while standing by the sink in my kitchen. I'm not a member of any of the 41,000 denominations and I haven't kept Sunday. Messiah Yah Shua is my all in all and it is unto Him I look with trust and the love that He has supplied. To the praise of the glory of His grace and not by works.
Michael Sprayberry Wherever I am, whatever I'm thinking, saying or doing. I know for an absolute fact that I am in the center of the will of the Eternal Father for my life, my salvation and my sanctification. To the praise of the glory of His grace. The fact you use the word gospel shows me you haven't got a clue as to what you are saying. You just repeat words parrot fashion. "Seeing they shall see and not perceive. Hearing they shall hear and not comprehend".
Sabbath keeping is hard for christians to understand. They dont understand that it was stolen from us to please the pagans. Keep up your hard work in bringing this to light. Sabbsth is made for all gods people.
The Anonymous Disciple Matt 5: 31 ¶ It hath been said, Whosoever shall put away his wife, let him give her a writing of divorcement: 32 But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery. Deu 24: 1 ¶ When a man hath taken a wife, and married her, and it come to pass that she find no favour in his eyes, because he hath found some uncleanness in her: then let him write her a bill of divorcement, and give it in her hand, and send her out of his house. 2 And when she is departed out of his house, she may go and be another man's wife. Matt 5: 38 ¶ Ye have heard that it hath been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth: 39 But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also. Exo 21: 23 And if any mischief follow, then thou shalt give life for life, 24 Eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot, 25 Burning for burning, wound for wound, stripe for stripe. Heb 7: 11 ¶ If therefore perfection were by the Levitical priesthood, (for under it the people received the law,) what further need was there that another priest should rise after the order of Melchisedec, and not be called after the order of Aaron? 12 For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law. Do you still stone witches, homosexuals, Sabbath breakers and rebellious children? Do you still make Pilgrimages to Jerusalem? Do you have a handrail on the roof of your house?
In the same way, some think one day is more holy than another day, while others think every day is alike. You should each be fully convinced that whichever day you choose is acceptable. Romans 14:5
People are people, and they will let you down badly. They don't visit the widows and orphans mentioned in James, they judge, and people usually make anything all about money. This is great teaching. Be careful
I think that we have so much resentment and when I talk to someone else about the lies I get offended and defensive. It's natural, but that's why we should be in pairs. To protect each other and be witness to the facts.
I’m curious, why keep the feasts that were preparation for the messiah? I agree with the Sabbath keeping, but why the Passover? Can somebody give me scripture? What about what Paul said?
Maybe someone here has a good source they can recommend to see it laid out the exact differences between messianic Jew and Christian ? Based on videos all I can gather is following Jewish traditions and the law while Christian is grace based observing New Testament celebrations (birth, resurrection, communion, etc...)
Yeshua indeed told us He never came to abolish. And yes many Christian denominations have removed two-thirds of the Bible. With that said, We are saved through faith and not through works, so no one can boast about earning their way into heaven because no one ever could. Yeshua told us the two greatest commandments are "Love God" and "Love each other." They summarize all 613 (summarize, not replace). Paul also said if we try to follow the Commandments to earn spiritual points with God to justify ourselves, we have fallen from grace and lost our salvation. There are people who force the Law onto others when they themselves do not follow it, and it is rampant in the Messianic world. Hassidic Judaism is not the model God designed. When Jews get saved, they actually throw off these things because they want Yeshua not man-made traditions
I can totally relate Brother. I'm facing the same response from "Church" people. I stopped attending and I do Sabbath at home with my kids now. Unfortunately there are no Hebrew Roots followers here except myself so....yeah! Lol. but I love following you guys on youtube and Michael Rood. I'm learning daily.
When did Y'shuah & the Apostles go to Worship?: Temple on the SAbbath. What feast did they celebrated?: The L-rd's Appointed times. When did any of them write a new ordinance of "sunday" worship? Never. Acts 15 said of the new believers to keep the 4 basics: no blood, no strangled meat, no idol, and no fornication, since Moses is taught to them already. They did not have to give them more "rules, for it was already being taught every Shabbat, so they could learn at their own pace.
This brother just rambled on for nearly 17 minutes and never quoted 1 new testament scripture to substantiate his argument. Why is it the torah keeping sabbath loving individuals can never quote the scriptures. The focus is on Jesus as saviour.
Misinterpretation of Paul & mis-teachings of Church history has us all messed up. Thank u Yah for waking us up. Go back to the book of acts n this is how we should b moving.
BTW: Torah means instruction, teaching. Law is a greek coined termed. Once more it was the translators' legalizing and not the Father who in His love has given us a way to live according to His image as following Y'shuah in His steps.

I identify with your testimony, Lex. My dad and uncles are pastors. I went to a Christian School, Christian University, etc. I know the snickers and hostility from family and so-called friends. But I just praise YAH He called me out! And I agree we need to treat Christians with kindness and grace.
“and when he found him, he brought him to Antioch. And it happened that for an entire year they met with the church and taught a considerable crowd. And the disciples were first called Christians in Antioch.” Acts 11:26 LSB We (followers of Yeshua/Jesus) have been called “Christians” since almost the very beginning. I’ll never abandon that label.
2 or 3 years ago I went into an online Christian community to tell them about how pagan Christmas and Easter was and I made a lot of people angry, very angry. Some of the posters tempted to insult me by calling me names to make me look stupid. There was a lot of arguing in that online community.
Micah I am not angry! I found this out for myaelf. I will be dsmned if I celebrate holidays! What does that matter if you are a sinner, you dont repent and keep sinning? All the holiday and Sabbath keeping wont help you on judgement day
He is 💯 right. Started reading the Bible at age 12. He's right about how people are seduced into a false understanding of the Bible. Fortunately God called me and my husband out of the church system many years ago. It's very scary to see the deception being taught and leading people astray. I will say for those who leave, and escape that false faith, is by God's grace.
When Carol Dwerk invented the word "mindset" around 1972, it was not fashionable. She only described two types of mindsets, "fixed" or what we would call a rigid personality and "growth" or flexible personality. I don't recall her describing a Christian mindset. Folks seem to toss words around without understanding what they mean. For example, Christians are all lumped together as right wingers. Many are conservative but just as many are not. Further, the left calls Christians Nazis and fascists. Again they are not. People use words and don't know what they mean. They pick these word up from media sources but Heaven forbid they read a book to get knowledge.
If I may. What's happening here is a classic case of pride and arrogance. The scripture can be so complex that it is easy to support virtually any stance a person might want to take. Lex has stumbled across a couple verses that he has developed an opinion from and is proud that he has 'discovered' the 'truth.' It gives a person a great sense of importance when they feel they know the truth and that other people don't. There are plenty of verses that make it clear that observing the law is not possible for us. Jesus came to fulfill that law by He Himself observing it perfectly. Once He died sinless and rose again He was the new High Priest, and when there is a new High Priest there is a new law. Read Hebrews 7. Jesus came for His chosen people, the Israelites. His instructions on the law were intended for His people because the Law was still in effect since He had not died. During Jesus' ministry He also began to teach the foundation of the new Law that was about to be put in place. Love your enemy. Do not love the world. Do to others what you would do for yourself. Look out for the needy and oppressed. Be careful of the dangers of wealth. Be generous. With His new law He abolished the old law but kept the heart of it which was love and kindness. He simplified it in terms of instruction but yet it gained more depth. Now the law includes that if anyone knows the good he ought to do but doesn't do it, it is a sin. In the law you were commanded to stone a person caught in adultery. What happened when Jesus got involved with the men who were about to stone the woman caught in adultery? He caused all the accusers to leave. Which left the adulteress alive. Didn't the law say to stone someone caught in adultery? It did. Did he break the law? No. He asked, "has no one condemned you?" She said, "no one." Jesus replied, "then neither do i." If no one was left to accuse her then there was no need to stone her. Loop hole. Jesus exercised mercy. Instead of the teachers of the Law looking for loop holes to show mercy they would rather find loop holes to gain wealth and power and control. This video is a false teaching that goes against what Jesus came to establish. Be careful not to be in love with your own opinion rather than the truth. Though they are seeing, they are not perceiving. Though they are hearing, they've no understanding. Those who love Me do what I command. Those who do not love Me do not do what I command. My command is this, that you love one another. Though the old law is done away with it still provides wisdom for right living and is useful for teaching but it is not by following it that you can be saved. You must follow Jesus. Anyone who loves the world or anything in it is any enemy of God. Those are strong words that few can grasp let alone put into practice. Many will try to enter but few will be able.
Jesus addressed this issue. I'll Trust Jesus' very simple answer to the pharisees. There's no shortage of guy's like Lex, they come in all denominations and theologies. Satan never tires of starting new religions and false teachings.
@@keytosalvationisrevelation5557 Is there anything point in correcting false doctrines like this when we come across them? Don't people ultimately believe what their itching ears want to ear? Can the insincere believers even understand the truth? What is our responsibility?
You are correct. People ultimately believe what they want. You know as well as I that sovereignty of God rules supreme. We are to speak Truth, not debate, the Truth need only be spoken. Those who’m God wants, will hear. The Kindon of Heaven is not in word, but in power. That power is Jesus Christ and when Jesus Christ touches somebody, I can assure you they are blessed with ears to hear. You never know, perhaps just one person will read your posr and it may confirm what The Spirit has been telling them.
Keep going for Jesus. As human beings, we can not imagine the reality of who God IS. Jesus Christ left His place on high. He who is everything became nothing that we might catch a glimpse and understand what we know, physical human. God in the flesh, as humans, if we want to understan God, we need only begin with what is recorded in the 4 gospels, for they testify to the reality of Jesus Christ. We must look to Jesus to know who God IS for He IS quite literally God in the flesh. Then we may receive the mana from Heaven, Christ IN us, the mind if Christ for He is faithful to those who love Him.

Kendy Gangte Matt 23: 1 ¶ Then spake Jesus to the multitude, and to his disciples, 2 Saying, The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat: 3 All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not. 4 For they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne, and lay them on men's shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers. The Pharisees gave the Law when they sat in Moses seat. They bound heavy burdens on the people but wouldn’t do any of them themselves. They were hypocrites. They didn’t practice what they preached. They preached law but practiced lawlessness. That’s why Jesus said to do what they say but not to do what they do. This was while the Old Covenant was still in effect. The new covenant didn’t begin until after His death and resurrection. Take care

Hello, 6162. It's not necessarily "wrong" to go to church on Sunday. The main thing you need to understand, assuming that you currently don't (understand), is that Sunday is NOT the Sabbath Day. The Sabbath Day is what we call Saturday (Friday at sunset to Saturday at sunset). Moreover, Saturday, NOT Sunday, is the day we are called to hold an assembly (Leviticus 23:3). But, that may be a difficult thing to do, as there are not many Sabbath keeping assemblies out there, other than Seventh Day Adventists; which presents it's own set of problems. Nonetheless, the issue that's most likely before you is to first grasp that you need to start observing the Sabbath. And, once you're doing that, you will be able to see more clearly concerning what to do about Sunday. Now, as to your second question: People in the Hebraic Roots movement worship Yeshua (Jesus). But, even so, many, if not most (myself included) don't like to call themselves "Christians", as that name simply has too many negative connotations associated with it. Take care. And, oh, I would be more than happy to address any other questions you may have.
I was raised catholic but after reading the scriptures I realized how wrong I was. I am still a Christian but I keep the sabbath, eat clean food, and quit all these pagan traditions: like Easter, Halloween, and others, only the scriptures is the truth
Shalom Paul and Lex, I've been a Messianic for a few years now but am really having a hard time making disciples. Lex can you please give me the names of the things you read that convinced you? Thanks.
My understanding growing up going to church on sundays, I thought that was the real sabbath day. After reading the Bible as well as hearing from elders(mature ones) I realize sunday was a manmade and not Gods command. And if it's man made then surely it is not God, amazingly He knew about it even before that took place. So yes Psalm chapter 1 is where I made that choice and I'm glad I did and still treasure hunting.
I have a job that requires me to work 2-5 weeks straight. So that includes sabbath(Saturday). But if I decide to honor Sabbath and not work. I wouldn't be able to feed my family. What should I do???
I love this video!!! I wanted to know do you have a place here of worship here in Miami, Fl I know you live here we are in search for a place of worship that is preach the whole Bible or Torah thank you!!
You dont go to MAN for these questions. Pray to our HEAVENLY FATHER THROUGH JESUS AND HE WILL LEAD YOU. The whole reason we got so deceived was by listening to man and NOT GOD. GO TO GOD. HE WILL CONVICT YOU.
Thank you for this great interview with Lex . His testimony about coming to the truth sounds exactly like mine . Abba calling me to study the first century believers and how they lived . My family and friends thinking Ive gone crazy . So awesome how He brings us to a knowledge of the truth . Ive never been happier or had more peace . I love keeping His Torah of truth because I love Him. All praise and thanks To YHWH our mighty and faithful Elohim.
I too can relate to you all. I had been experiencing a hunger to be fed spiritual food for some time, but I wasn't finding it being served within the Christian religious restaurants so to say, lol. There were so many questions in the back of my mind revolving around scripture but in conflict with what I was hearing in the services, and nobody seemed to be able to clarify them. Initially, this longing led me on a journey to a variety of assemblies within Christianity, until I ultimately realized the system of Christianity cannot be fixed, and that I must come out of it in order to learn and fellowship with a people after God's own heart. It was painful, because friends we served with for decades began to alienate us, and some were down right vicious to us without any love in mind. It's certainly a more lonely path to travel, at least in our area, but that doesn't mean it's not more rewarding. Living in the truth is a beautiful and liberating experience, and despite the illusion that we are few and alone, we've come to recognize we are many. It's just that we are scattered around the globe that causes us to appear and feel as though we are alone or few. Keep up the good work Paul and Lex, and everyone else. Know that you're not alone.
Ha, Ha That's one way of putting it. I am currently pray that Abba will lead me to a fellowship of his choosing. He is so good and faithful to lead me into all truth so I know I can trust him to not leave me now. I pray the same for you friend if you don't already have a place. The love of the Father and shalom to you and your house friend.
What is required to read and understand the letters, verses, words of the ToRaH (and the TeNaKH aka erroneously as "the Old Testament, although it never appears in the Hebrew text) is to use the more comprehensive approach of the "paRDeS" method, which is the Hebrew equivalent for the Greek word "Paradise". PeSHaT, a dimension of literal and objective truth; ReMez, a dimension of allegory and poetic truth; DeRaSHa, the dimension of ethical and homiletic truth; and SoD, mystical, spiritual truth. It is also interesting to know, that in the ancient Hebrew language, one cannot find a word for "religion", that speaks volumes. The word "ToRaH" should be translated as Teaching of Light, not the "law". Blessings.

“Enter in by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the
way that leads to destruction, and many are those who enter in by it.” Most of the world believe what the masses teach.

You seem to be ignorant of the ancient manuscripts. Look it up for yourself. The NT was written in Greek and they called Him Iesous. There’s no point in arguing if you don’t even know this fact. You’re just arguing based on emotions rather than what the truth actually is.
Excellent, its time now, Yeshua's (Jesus) teachings to be put back on the right track. He was an observant Jew and followed commandments with the true spirit of Torah.
Yeshua is God if anyone doesn't believe that then their salvation is at risk
I just recently found out the sabbath and torah was for today and i have only accepted God as well as praying to God for a year now. I definitely think it is preachers and teachers that are confusing the minds. I was always confused about the sabbath until recently hearing the truth ! You are not Hebrew The Hebrews are those from the lineage of Jacob, his direct descendants
Jesus clearly said, "I am the way, the truth and the life, NO MAN OR WOMAN comes to the father except through me" He is a gate we enter in unto righteousness, and once in, we are now children of God, sons and daughters of the promise, heirs of salvation, no longer slaves to the requirements of the law, although the law lives in us.
+geshnizusa Going back to the old covenant is keeping the foundation of your faith. Jesus is the cornerstone...

...which the builders rejected.
For in Scripture it says:
“See, I lay a stone in Zion,
a chosen and precious cornerstone,
and the one who trusts in him
will never be put to shame.” 1 Peter 2:1-6
This cornerstone which God has laid is for the NEW building otherwise it would have already been laid down. This new building, of which we are living stones is built on the new foundation of Christ's blood, a New Covenant.
Jesus destroyed the old temple and rebuilt it again through His resurrection, remember?
One more thing to note: "All those who trust in HIM, will NEVER be put to shame" No mention of the Torah there, Only trust and justification.

Interpretation is key and more importantly context.

Being Christian for 68 years i devolped a thrist for what Jesus practiced as a Jew during my 40 days of fasting for Lent this year, ie: Passover Purim,Shavuot, etc. How can I be a follower of Yeshua if I don't understand his Jewish life. My last week of Lent before Easter I practiced Passover Sedar. It will be something I practice ever year now. I am now practicing Sabbath. I dont do it right. I get confused about how I use electricity on the Sabbath and how resting I am. I believe God calls us to what we should be doing to worship him. Some of my suggestions for those seeking the truth about the Bible:
No. 1 and most important: Read what the Bible says, NOT what you've been told that it says.
Simple example: "Hark, the Herald Angels Sing..." WHERE does the Bible say that angels sing? (You might want to reread Luke 2:13 - special emphasis on the last word. Seems that if angels sing, the birth of the son of God would be a prime time to.)
Tradition is okay if it doesn't contradict the Bible. (Thinking Jewish [Talmud], Catholic [edicts of the councils of Nicea, which are followed by most of Christianity], Mormon [the Book of Mormon is full of contradictions to the Bible], etc.)
Compare versions, and read footnotes in any version in which you can find them.
John Webb nowhere in the Bible does it say “hark the angels sing”.you are confusing a CHRISTMAS song with SCRIPTURE.
Nothing disappearing from the law

Kill and eat.”14 “Surely not, Lord!” Peter replied. “I have never eaten anything impure or unclean.”15 The voice spoke to him a second time, “Do not call anything impure that God has made clean.”16 This happened three times, and immediately the sheet was taken back to heaven.

When Jews get saved, they actually throw off these things because they want Yeshua not man-made traditions

i know you wrote that 4 years ago. I have been experiencing it for 3 years now.
What about Mark 2:27-28, what is your take on these verses? Christ himself said, Sabbath is for the man not man for the Sabbath.
My question is do we need to baptized in the name of Jesus for forgiveness of your sins or Yeshua in order to fulfill Acts 2:38 according to you.
Misinterpretation of Paul & mis-teachings of Church history has us all messed up. Thank u Yah for waking us up. Go back to the book of acts n this is how we should b moving.
BTW: Torah means instruction, teaching. Law is a greek coined termed. Once more it was the translators' legalizing and not the Father who in His love has given us a way to live according to His image as following Y'shuah in His steps.
in this day no one has an excuse not to read there bibles. when there are so many free app audio scripture available. I am blessed with a job that lets me listen to my iPhone all day. I identify with your testimony, Lex. My dad and uncles are pastors. I went to a Christian School, Christian University, etc. I know the snickers and hostility from family and so-called friends. But I just praise YAH He called me out! And I agree we need to treat Christians with kindness and grace.
It’s not a sin to be called Christian. The jews in the Bible never denied being Christians nor took it as an Insult.
“and when he found him, he brought him to Antioch. And it happened that for an entire year they met with the church and taught a considerable crowd. And the disciples were first called Christians in Antioch.”
Acts 11:26 LSB
We (followers of Yeshua/Jesus) have been called “Christians” since almost the very beginning. I’ll never abandon that label.
So what about: Apg 15:28-29?
Titus 1:10,”THERE ARE MANY VAIN TALKERS AND DECEIVERS ESPECIALLY THOSE OF THE CIRCUMCISION.”
So many heathens are offended by the words of The Most High and Hamashyach.
2 or 3 years ago I went into an online Christian community to tell them about how pagan Christmas and Easter was and I made a lot of people angry, very angry. Some of the posters tempted to insult me by calling me names to make me look stupid. There was a lot of arguing in that online community.
I agree with you... easter and Christmas are roman and pagan holidays...

Micah I am not angry! I found this out for myaelf. I will be dsmned if I celebrate holidays! What does that matter if you are a sinner, you dont repent and keep sinning? All the holiday and Sabbath keeping wont help you on judgement day
This testimony is so similar to mine, it's crazy! I, too, thought I was the only one who saw it! 🤭
I live in West Palm Beach, contact me in via message or FB and I'll let you know where we meet.
@@keytosalvationisrevelation5557 I appreciate your insight. Thank you.
Then we may receive the mana from Heaven, Christ IN us, the mind if Christ for He is faithful to those who love Him.
my family thinks im crazy,, they want nothing but the gospel of prosperity,,, they want their statues and rosarys, rituals and traditions. i give up on them, im putting distance between myself and them,,, i just pray for them and hope they come out of the pagan sungod worship.
sorry I misspelled"resurrect"
What are some of the best resources that you would recommend concerning Torah and understanding Old and New covenant better?
Well, its still good for you that you are not alone in your country/state as a Messianic believer. But for me I also believe in Messianic faith but I am all alone here in my country/state. I feel like a new breed christian like you said. Its frustrating sometimes. Its really difficult for me.

Why did Jesus say the law was a heavy burden, grievous to be born?
@@evanu6579 You misunderstood it. Do you know what does he mean? Have you read the whole context? Read it. If you pick up a single verse randomly like that and if you translate it you are gonna translate it wrong. Study the whole context.

Matt 23: 1 ¶ Then spake Jesus to the multitude, and to his disciples,
2 Saying, The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat:
3 All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not.
Take care
@@evanu6579 Romans 3:31-Do we then make void the law through faith? Certainly not! On the contrary, we establish the law.
John 14:15-If you love Me, keep My commandments.
James 1:22- But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.
@@evanu6579 You are confused and ignorant in studying your bible brother. I understand. But let me tell you one thing. The Old testament and the New Testament cannot contradict each other.
Matthew 5:18-19-For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled. 19 Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven
So is it wrong to go to church on Sunday
Now, as to your second question:
People in the Hebraic Roots movement worship Yeshua (Jesus). But, even so, many, if not most (myself included) don't like to call themselves "Christians", as that name simply has too many negative connotations associated with it.
Take care. And, oh, I would be more than happy to address any other questions you may have.
What calender or moon phase to determine when to observe the Sabbath?
I was raised catholic but after reading the scriptures I realized how wrong I was. I am still a Christian but I keep the sabbath, eat clean food, and quit all these pagan traditions: like Easter, Halloween, and others, only the scriptures is the truth
About the first church history between acts and Constantine ? Book or references ? Thank you!!
Is there any other Torah keepers in Titusville Florida? Or is there a way to find a Torah home group in my area?
1 question according to Torah can u cook heat up ect food on sabbath
You dont go to MAN for these questions. Pray to our HEAVENLY FATHER THROUGH JESUS AND HE WILL LEAD YOU. The whole reason we got so deceived was by listening to man and NOT GOD. GO TO GOD. HE WILL CONVICT YOU.
The only thing I disagree is to starting creating an other label to follow: "Messianic"
All praise and thanks To YHWH our mighty and faithful Elohim.
yes this was a one of my favorite interviews
T. Steffes Christ said he was THE truth! Why should I listen to a Talmudic jew!
Blessings.
