My husband who was the worship leader for a baptist church for three years was immediately asked to resign after a private talk with the pastor about his football idolatry and how football shouldn’t be preached about from the pulpit. The scores, the games, the world should be left behind and Yah should be talked about instead. Not two days later he was handed a letter of resignation and was told if he signs it, they’ll give him 30 days pay. We were called to observe the sabbath back in August and my husband had been praying to leave the church before they asked him to play Christmas music weekly leading up to December. I try to repent daily I find myself at war with my body physically. it seems like I have a hard time to keep my body from committing lustful acts against itself. I can go for a good long stretch but sometimes I get sucked into the evil. I lie I get them so angry and it's so hard for me to forgive my anger keeps me from forgiving. but I do always ask the Lord to forgive me I will pray right now and ask him that maybe could hear me. thank you for enlightening me with the Lord word.
We all battle with sin but the Lord is near to those who repent sincerely and He’s always close to your cry as you want to please Him. When I first came to the Lord I was told to start reading the bible with the Gospel of John. I did it. I loved what I read, however I didn't understand it as well as I could have because I didn't understand Y'shau is a Jew and Jewish people do things a certain way. When I first read it I thought him and his disciples were just tripping around Israel and didn't understand the rhyme or reason to what he was doing. Then after I read Torah and went back and read the gospels I realized he was going to the temple on the Sabbath, he was going to Israel for different feast at different times such as the Passover, Tabernacles, and dedications. Reading Torah gave me a deeper understanding to his sacrifice. He had a last Seder then he became the Passover.

I have never seen the word Renewed, only new covenant, once the marriage is over the contract ends and a new contract entered into not renewed. If you can show me the word renewed i will be willing to listen but it looks as if you have changed new to renewed.

Great message Paul. The only thing I would have said differently would have been regarding losing their salvation. Instead, I would have said if they continue in those wicked ways it's unlikely they've ever received salvation because salvation brings about change from wickedness to holiness to God. But I say that simply because I believe in total depravity and that salvation cannot be lost because God is faithful to finish what he has started in those who belong to Him. You referenced Psalm 69:28. This is a Psalm, it's part of a prayer to God from a mere limited human perspective from one who doesn't know whose names are or aren't written in the book of life. It's not a statement from God by which we should entertain a mere human false concept of losing ones salvation, especially when Scripture doesn't support it when kept in its historic, ethnic and grammatical context. Such concepts often come from false prophets who use fear mongering tactics to control people, and false prophets who use fear tactics to manipulate people into their false works based salvation teachings. I often recommend people learn to practice the 50/50 rule when reading scriptures. When you want to gain a better understanding of a certain passage, read 50 verses before and after it. What is the context, who is it coming from, what are the main topics it's speaking about. And, never go into the scriptures trying to find what you want it to say, but instead, allow the scriptures to answer your questions and to teach you God's truths as it is written, and in the counsel of the Ruach Ha'Kodesh. The Jewish peoples were the priest to the father. They were to teach the gospel to the world. But. They didn't believe Jesus was the son of God. So the Christians taught the bible to the world. this is another reason I don't want to eat kosher I decided to do kosher. Adonai showed me I couldn't bring a pig into the Temple when it was standing. It would have been an abomination. That verse stands 180 degrees apart from your belief that people need jesus. The Tanakh is clear that repentance has ALWAYS been available. It was the church who muddied the waters, misinterpreted the sacrificial system and distorted it into making jesus essentially a human sacrifice like some pagan religion. There is no "blood requirement" in Ezekiel. There is no "blood requirement" in 2 Chronicles 7:14 either. My husband who was the worship leader for a baptist church for three years was immediately asked to resign after a private talk with the pastor about his football idolatry and how football shouldn’t be preached about from the pulpit. The scores, the games, the world should be left behind and Yah should be talked about instead. Not two days later he was handed a letter of resignation and was told if he signs it, they’ll give him 30 days pay. I try to repent daily I find myself at war with my body physically. it seems like I have a hard time to keep my body from committing lustful acts against itself. When I first came to the Lord I was told to start reading the bible with the Gospel of John. I did it. I loved what I read, however I didn't understand it as well as I could have because I didn't understand Y'shau is a Jew and Jewish people do things a certain way. When I first read it I thought him and his disciples were just tripping around Israel and didn't understand the rhyme or reason to what he was doing. Then after I read Torah and went back and read the gospels I realized he was going to the temple on the Sabbath, he was going to Israel for different feast at different times such as the Passover, Tabernacles, and dedications. Reading Torah gave me a deeper understanding to his sacrifice. He had a last Seder then he became the Passover.

Great message Paul. The only thing I would have said differently would have been regarding losing their salvation. Instead, I would have said if they continue in those wicked ways it's unlikely they've ever received salvation because salvation brings about change from wickedness to holiness to God. But I say that simply because I believe in total depravity and that salvation cannot be lost because God is faithful to finish what he has started in those who belong to Him. Does God merely imply His ways to us, which would be extremely subjective to speculations, or does He Himself tell us His ways directly in His Torah, by which all of scripture is founded?
There are tons of unscriptural concepts people come up with because of their ignorance, and because they don't keep all of scripture in its historic, ethnic and grammatical context. Moreover, they treat their false concepts as if they're commands and absolutes, but it's not supported by God's Word.
For example: Some say it's a command from God that women wear head coverings, but scripture doesn't support this in any way, Scripture merely sheds light on it as being a historical custom of some people's in some areas of the world.
You referenced Psalm 69:28. This is a Psalm, it's part of a prayer to God from a mere limited human perspective from one who doesn't know whose names are or aren't written in the book of life.
It's not a statement from God by which we should entertain a mere human false concept of losing ones salvation, especially when Scripture doesn't support it when kept in its historic, ethnic and grammatical context.
Such concepts often come from false prophets who use fear mongering tactics to control people, and false prophets who use fear tactics to manipulate people into their false works based salvation teachings.
YHWH isn't a God of fear, and salvation cannot be earned through works.
There are many false concepts to mislead people. Many times at funerals you'll hear people say, "They're in a better place now", or "They're with God now watching down on you from heaven", and people accept such nonsensical and ungodly concepts as if they are gospel truths when they in fact are nothing less than blatant evil contradictions and adulterations of the scriptures which have their roots in pagan religions.
Be careful to not take mere human concepts and misunderstandings as if they're gospel truths. Be like the Bereans, read and know what Scripture says in its historic, ethnic and grammatical context, and test everything.
I often recommend people learn to practice the 50/50 rule when reading scriptures. When you want to gain a better understanding of a certain passage, read 50 verses before and after it. What is the context, who is it coming from, what are the main topics it's speaking about.
And, never go into the scriptures trying to find what you want it to say, but instead, allow the scriptures to answer your questions and to teach you God's truths as it is written, and in the counsel of the Ruach Ha'Kodesh.

Hi ! ive been searching for the RIGHT BIBLE firstly because how can we study scriptures that have been corrupted ! secondly, i believe theres ancient hebrew and also modern hebrew, then aramaeic, greek latin !!!! with all these transliterations and translations where do we find the truth !!!!
I will tell you the answer to your question, but you will not believe it. Let me tell you first that I was raised catholic, moved into christianity, slide sideway into the Messianic movement and then Hebrew Roots and then OUT of all christian doctrine and study in a Chabad for several years.
You will NEVER, EVER make sense of the Tanakh WITHOUT the Oral Torah and Rabbinic guides. I know, I know. That is the LAST place you would ever imagine to find truth. BUT THAT WAS THE POINT. That verse stands 180 degrees apart from your belief that people need jesus.
The Tanakh is clear that repentance has ALWAYS been available. It was the church who muddied the waters, misinterpreted the sacrificial system and distorted it into making jesus essentially a human sacrifice like some pagan religion.
There is no "blood requirement" in Ezekiel. There is no "blood requirement" in 2 Chronicles 7:14 either.

Hope these thoughts are worth considering too.I think that the blood atonement you say was not required, was actually performed at the Yom Kippurim service for the nation each year & for some reason the association of that eludes you as to the purpose of it for the forgiveness of sin. Also The Lamb of God was slain before the foundation of the World & the Temple service is a shadow copy of Heavenly Things . Also John tells us that Yeshua is the Word of God made flesh so in effect to be following Torah is to follow Jesus/Yeshua/ God's Salvation which the Hebrew Bible is entirely about. King David alludes to an understanding when he says in Psalms My Lord will sit at my LORD's right hand side.King David is the cruncher as to God's Grace for me in the Hebrew Bible too. When he committed adultery and murder as a deliberate act in the weakness of his flesh there was NO provision for such a sin to have a blood atonement in the regular sense as these are sins that lead to death and not sins of oversight or accidental omission or commission; so God has always been merciful and in no wise will turn away a broken & contrite heart. I have come across a teaching that the need for Yeshua to be a curse on the tree was to take away the impediment of Israel being the Bride again which was caused when the nthrn tribes were divorced by God for adultery. Part of the two stick prophesy is bring the nation of Israel back together. So to renew the marriage covenant with the whole of the nation of Israel as His Bride and not break His own Torah which says a divorced woman who remarried ( paganism /idolatry) cannot go back to her first husband.
