Just got ours as a 2 year old, 3 weeks ago. He's sweet as can be, but jealous, and sneaky aggressive to our other dog. He's a work in progress.

My sheepadoodle is almost 4 years old and rarely has stomach issues. Almost never throws up. We don’t brush EVERY day, maybe twice a week and she is fine. She does need lots of exercise and does love to be with us. She is extremely smart and a quick learner.

I have a sheepadoodle and he has a pretty big social following. People always ask what kind of dog he is and that they want one but… sheepadoodle are so much work. The stomach sensitivity isn’t a thing for my dog. But the rest omg yes. I brush mine daily and take him to get groomed every 5 weeks. No matter the amount of exercise he can keep gong lol. The separation anxiety is REAL.. especially as a covid puppy. Great informative video!:) They’re a lot of work but he is really the best dog ever.

I have a female sheepadoodle. Maribel is almost 5 and she's 90lbs. She is very healthy, and gets the same high quality dog food day in & out. She does love her treats (let's face it, who doesnt). Maribel is super smart and loving. She definitely wants to please me, so I reinforce positive behavior & ignore her when she's being bad and she responds to it. Everyone in my community knows her because she is super social and gets attention everywhere we go. She eats it up. Praise your pup often, exercise their mind by making them hunt for treats and lots of running around. If you do this- you will have the best dog ever!

I own a 9 month old sheepadoodle. I do NOT often “like” any posting, but this guy knows what he is talking about. Since my puppy is not yet 3, I cannot comment on point #7 yet, but 1-6 are spot on! Great vid, super accurate!

My daughter has a sheepadoodle and she’s around 40 pounds fully grown and has never had any stomach issues. She is one of the sweetest puppies/dogs our family has ever had. She is friendly to everyone she meets and loves to sit in your lap. I think sheepadoodles make a great pet, but they are not for everyone - esp. families with small children who have never had a dog before. They should go with a small breed dog.

I raise Sheepadoodles and they are great. They are not like other dogs they dont have a normal puppy stage they are old souls. If they have a weak stomache it comes from the OES side. I have a couple 4 month olds and they dont even need a leash they stay with me and they come when called even at my little 5yr old sisters bday party. My parents raised Newfies, Yorkies, Dobermans, Aussies, and poodles and they are better than all of them (My mom wishes she chose to raise them instead of aussies and aussiedoodles). They are also the smartest breed i have ever had anything to do with even sharper than the aussies (Yes i have one of those to). They are clever they know when they done something bad and they tell on themselves. They need brushed 2xs a week and groomed every 8 wks. They are F-ing awesome and anyone telling you they aren't has never had one. If you get one you will see they are sweet little heart thieves that will change your life in all the best ways. Sheepadoodles are the best decision I have ever made.

My sheepadoodle is almost 9 and is the most beautiful, has the most intelligent and noble personality of any dog I've seen. Unfortunately, she is F2 (both her parents were sheepadoodles), and was a lemon off the lot. Heart surgery at 3 months for a heart murmur, an Addison's diagnosis at 7, some skin and anal gland issues, and now she has cancer. On top of all that her back legs are a smidge too long like a overly lanky cheetah and she cranked her lower back one time while the vet was diagnosing the Addisons, she went from a bounding bunny to a geriatric large dog with lame legs/tail overnight ='( I had been so careful with her hips for so many years, she would keep up with my longboard and saw some foxes down a hill one time. she easily clocked 30 mph for a sec with me in tow. So yea, anyway, I agree with everything this guy said, but I still believe in the breed and am grateful breeders have access to genetic information these days. If your sheepadoodle has a sensitive stomach just rub their ears/chin/eyes/throat and get them to burp after they eat

I just love Bunny the talking dog. Bunny is smart, seems to enjoy everybody, animal and human, and has the tummy problem. I love a big Bernedoodle I get for sitting and helped leash train. There is nothing like a big poodle cross leaning on your leg. Lots of work, tho. Figure on buying yourself some Wahl KM10 clippers (+blades), biodegradable soap for backyard washing, and a high velocity dryer and all the right brushes, comb, safe scissors like Conair pet, and watch a bunch of dog grooming videos. . . alternately count on spending a sh*tload of money at the groomers and still you will have to do some grooming work yourself. Go to a groomer place that doesn't use crates because the Sheepadoodle won't fit and will get really angry (which could cause behavior problems) if he gets locked in a strange smelly place in a too small crate too long.

it can be extra protective when there are puppies at home, WARNING: could be harmful to kids who want to pet the puppies in this case, seems like he's only doing his job though...other than this it's adorable, just what you expect from a pet dog ...i don't find the no. 2 with mine tho...found Oggie 3 years ago roaming around the neighborhood, been my best friend ever since

I don't agree with the training...I trained my baby to potty train in 3 days, he's so smart, he talk-barks at me or pulls me to tell me he wants something and he's only 13 week old. He's way smart one .. With attitude too ... lolol ❤
