  • Oh so Sweet and Shabby Chic Pink Decor for Spring! Today I'm using some of my favorite Shabby Chic fabrics to stitch a beautiful pillow cover and tea towel with applique.
~ Our DIY pillow cover begins with a precious bunny image that I purchased from the French Paper Moon Etsy shop. She has some of the most beautiful printables suitable for all seasons and holidays. Check her out! www.etsy.com/m...
Using my ink jet printer and thin cotton muslin fabric, I printed out my bunny image. This fabric panel then becomes the center of our pillow cover. I then add sweet pink and cream buffalo check fabric strips to the sides, top, and bottom. I also used a pretty pink polka dot fabric to stitch an envelope back for our pillow cover.
~ No pillow is complete without a Shabby Chic Embellishment! We will make a gorgeous Layered Lace Flower with a Lace and Beaded Tassel as the finishing touch to our Spring Bunny Pillow!
~ We then stitch a tea towel with ruffle, and adorn with lace and pom pom trim. Our Shabby Chic
fabric bunny appliqué is made using a cookie cutter as a template and Heat N Bond to secure in place.
~ Next, we paint a Mason jar with Waverly paint in the color Ballet Slipper, and seal with White Wax.
~ Disaster awaits with the first floral arrangement that I attempted. Even cute bunny ornaments couldn't save this project!
    Free Bunny Ornament Printable: www.canva.com/...
~ Finally, we end with our cute, quick, easy, and fun Crepe Paper Blossoms! I love how this turned out, and decide to add my bunny ornaments to an adoarable little pink Christmas tree that I picked up at Hobby Lobby last year!

Becky, I am so glad I found your channel. I absolutely love shabby chic decor. Did you notice that your crepe paper blossoms look just like the blossoms on your rabbit ornaments. Hello Tink; I’m glad you’re here! I did not notice that the blossoms matched, but I do like to use coordinating colors to look like an intentional collection. You have a winning video with the most adorable crafts for Easter. I just LOVED EVERYTHING! Your editing was spot on, timing perfect. And those colors you chose, WOW, right up my alley. The pillow was so precious, as the tea towel, and the bunny tags reeked of cuteness. I learned that flowers can be made out of different mediums so easily with that technique. I loved both arrangements and applaud you for bouncing back and creating a new one, which I LOVED even more. You always have the best trims too! You generate a calmness and reassurance that any failure can be salvaged and remade into a better result. Patience always pays off in the end. It was a Pink theme today and I loved every second! Wondering what kind of paper you printed the images on. They seemed very sturdy. Thanks for a GREAT video!

Instead of using the hard floral foam in the Ball jar , use a floral foam that is made especially for live plants. You could have watered the branches and it would not have raised up. You do need to soak the flora foam b efore putting it in the jar and periodically add more water,🙂

    Question????
Can the pillow cover be washed in the washing machine, or cleansed with damp cloth with mild cleanser, and dried in dryer or hang to dry?
To preserve the picture of the bunny and surroundings from the elements of children, and pets, and some adults,
is there anything you can put on it after the printer ink dries? Mod podge, or some type of top coat?
