I can't figure out how you are getting 4 piece mother's sorrow. Even the written guide only shows room for 3 pieces? 5 piece deadly, 2 piece choke, oakensoul. Where is the last slot coming?
Your one bar builds really set the tone for my eso experience.. I started 3 months ago and was struggling with combat, I took a chance on your 1 bar magplar build from before and I finally felt dominant in PVE for the first time. Seriously thank you for your builds, idk if I'd still be playing today if it wasn't for that

Yea go through all your settings. Trun on buffs always showing, nameplate, numbers and percentage. There's alot set to off that you should actually be using
I love your builds, but one thing I struggle with is farming enough gold mats like dreugh wax to upgrade my gear fully. Do you have any tips for farming these?
Go to bal foyen farm farm farm don’t break down your leathers until you have a few hundred. Put your points into clothing etc so you have more chances to get gold items.
Also, if you can, do your daily writs at the crafting stations - I tend to get a lot of that from doing them, plus even more mats by doing the surveys that you often get.
Plus in green tree add cp into pulling resources for mats just switch it out if you don't have enough cp to get them all it's worth the 3000 gold to change
@@Nobby-Nobblerpeople keep saying writs... Yes, one of the best ways aside from guild trader but doing writs like your talking about takes ALOT of time for set up to even get there. It's useless if you need gold but are still somewhat fresh so no, for most needing gold writs isint the best way.
Gold mats aren't too had. Just do dungeons and sell absolutely everything. Until you can get set up for the writs they talk about or, if you're in a guild, guild trader is always the beat way

Hmm did they update the Puncturing Strikes spear model? Used to look like just a golden stick, now it looks like they replaced it with a model with a spear head. Haven't played for over 5 years.
Out of curiosity how does it perform damage wise? Asking as I made something similar using the pale order ring instead and got it hitting 80k for solo was thinking of changing it out to yours if the damage range is better
Would a flame staff do fine? As heavy attacking seem not to be a big focus here compared to a sorc solo build :D As flame fits better for Templar and looks nicer hehe
I have 2 characters that are a 1 bar templar in pvp but I run completely different stuff than he does other than deadly strikes. I run different things depending on whether I do cp or non-cp. I do pretty well in bgs and imp city can't say much about cyrodill because I don't go there.
I’d like to see how this fares in Vet Maelstrom. Working on a 1 bar solo build that does a 78k DPS output right now that usually never dies. I am close to no death but only got 13/15 so far. Still trying

I know this is a weird ask but, To Clarify, Ive always loved balancing how effective a build is along with trying to keep my character looking cool while doing it (rather than spamming three skills in four nanoseconds and having my character flail about like some lunatic), one Idea ive been having is a true one-handed build (not dual wield, and not sword and board), and was wondering how I would pump the most damage out of such without looking like an aforementioned arm-flailing lunatic lol
Giving up a weapon would just not work unless for significantly lower level content. It’s detrimental. No passives, no skills, nothing to suggest it works and in a numbers game it’s just not viable. Cosmetic sure ig but lunatic wins
I think the heavy attack does a little more damage but this is a more fun way to play as most one bar builds using heavy attack it’s nice to do a light attack in between skill and focus on a skill based (jabs) build than just ha for once almost all my solo builds are copy paste slim craw / sergeants / Nobel or orders and swap the skills.
@@LostHorizons0I definitely got a little bored with my HA templar, this is a nice change of pace, I'm playing with the deadly/orders wrath combo and it does feel more powerful, especially in groups of mobs, I seem to get through them faster maybe HA has a better single target top end but it's not something I am missing so far (started playing this way a few days ago)
@@CJR-wv8kc it’s a nice build for overland / solo-ing world bosses / solo play etc it’s a very relaxed set up. Definitely good if you just want to play through story content or do overland stuff on your own.
These one bar builds are not only quite powerful, but they're brilliant for a lot of players accessibility wise. Both for ease of play as well as making some of the harder content do-able for those who, for whatever reason, won't or can't group up with others for things (not an issue for me, but I know a lot of others who primarily do solo stuff). Is there any other bread and butter ability in the game like Puncturing Sweep? I love the aoe damage and the self heal but (and I know this is dumb) I hate how it looks.

Is this build still viable or is the new One Bar No Class Magicka DPS Build better? Also is there a reason you use more Medium Deadly pieces instead of Staff, is it for armor or just what was easiest to acquire on Trade? Would it be better with more Light MS pieces? Why or why not?
Look at the passives for heavy medium and light. Medium and light armor passives are what you need for dps. Magicka recovery, spell penetrative, crit chance, crit dmg and healing. Either way won't make to much of a difference just depends on what you are lacking most. If your not healing enough then go more medium. If your spell penetrative is crap then light armor. Play around with, you'll get it
Hell I can not even play! I get these random crashes of time once log in crashes to desktop no error or 3 minutes into the game quits even one time 30 minutes its confusing. It all started after the update 41. No error just crashes to desktop. I can play just fine no lagging, no freeze just exiting the game most of the time its in 3 minutes. I tried Nvidia reinstall driver. I lowed my graphics to nothing & then the highest. I tried uninstall the game & same thing the only thing is left is redo my entire system I hate doing that its stupid! I can play other games like Planetside 2 just fine but ESO kicks me out. Does anybody have any idea is it the game or my PC?

@HackTheMinotaur I'd recommend switching to Perfected Wrath of Elements. That will make one skill do three things: Major Breach, Magickasteal, and DoT dmg for no cost and it will add a line of penetration to hit the overland pen cap. I would also substitute Mother's Sorrow for Order's Wrath, providing a line of Spell Dmg in place of Max Mag. Personally though, I would go with two sharpened Blackrose Prison maces and swap Elemental Drain for Deadly Cloak which works in tandem with Solar Barrage while also granting Major Evasion and +6% dmg and dmg resist. I use this with Gallant Chain and a piece of Druid's Braid, but you can just go with 2-piece Druid for a line of Mag instead of HP.
Ahhh, fresh new player. You need to get to cp 160 before you even work towards a build. Don't be watching these videos till you hit at least cp 400 for your champion bonuses 😂😂😂
@magicalgores3416 not entirely true. I find build from the start. Write everything down for that build then level without having to watch it again. But I will see it's nice to see eso vets like you giving advice instead of doing what most wow needs do and laugh at and insult a brand new player for not knowing absolutely everything in the game the moment they start it.
In-before the moment people make your build and realize that 3.5k magicka is a lot for how little Radiant Ward provides and get themselves nuked in veteran content by running out of resources.
its a good build... variations have been here since forever and you heal to full during your dps rotation with dps gear in 2 seconds.... the shield is only for when the hit would 1shot you.

You can also craft Julianos 4 piece, or have it crafted, it has the same exact 4 piece stats as mother's sorrow.
Or just craft orders wrath it’s better

Any destruction staff is fine. It's just for the skill from destruction staff skill line

Hey is im almost new to the game, is there a reason max magica is better than magica regeneration or reduce spellcost as glyph?
max magicka gives you other bonuses to damage, crit, etc.

This is a more survivability build than it is a damage build.
