As a Panthers fan I don’t regret getting rid of Burns….we were not in position to pay him that much money at the time. Also, his production was very inconsistent
Arizona: Not enough help on defense. Atlanta: On top of Cousins and Judson, no additional pass rushers at the trade deadline even with rookie Braden Trice coming off an injury. Baltimore: Signing Eddie Jackson. Jackson is a former Pro Bowl caliber player who no longer has it. Eventually undersized Safety Ar’Darius Washington took the #3 Safety spot. Buffalo: Signing Curtis Samuel to a 3 year, $30 million deal when he has issues with health and production. Mack Hollins makes a fraction less and is more productive. That money could’ve been used on a Defensive Tackle or member of the secondary. Carolina: On top of Burns, trading some of their future draft capital for Jonathan Brooks. Brooks needs to show he can stay healthy before he can even attempt to overtake Chuba Hubbard’s production this season. Chicago: Between the trade for Keenan Allen, the lack of moves for a pass rusher in free agency, and signing De’Andre Swift to a 3 year deal, the lesser known is their trade to Buffalo for Ryan Bates. Bates hasn’t been good in either pass or run blocking and part of why Caleb Williams could challenge David Carr for the most sacked Quarterback in a season. Cincinnati: Not extending Trey Hendrickson. Your best pass rusher could be gone for a supplemental 3rd in 2026, but instead you did nothing to extend players. Cleveland: Continue to play DeShaun Watson. Between the missed playing time for close to 2 years, the multiple injuries and just bad play, his contract is one of the worst in NFL history, and yet they played him until he broke (again). Dallas: Not resigning CeeDee Lamb sooner. He could’ve been resigned before both Eagles main receivers (DeVonta Smith, A.J. Brown), both main Dolphins receivers (Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle), Detroit’s main receiver (Amon-Ra St Brown) and Minnesota’s main receiver (Justin Jefferson) resigned. Instead, between Dak and Ceedee, 46% of Dallas’s cap space is taken up by the 2 of them. Denver: Signing Levi Wallace. He was decent, but nothing special in Pittsburgh. Now he’s a major liability in the secondary that allowed former Bronco Jerry Jeudy to go ape 🦍 crazy 😜 on Monday Night Football 🏈. Detroit: Drafting Terrion Arnold. Considering how well Cooper DeJean is doing, Detroit could’ve stayed put and drafted DeJean instead of moving up to draft a penalty prone corner. Green Bay: Not drafting more pass rushers. While VanNess is a good end, Preston Smith got traded to Pittsburgh and Kingsley Enagbare is better in a limited role. Houston: Not enough offensive line help. Most of the young players have disappointed and even the vets are acting subpar. Stroud has been sacked more than any other Quarterback after Caleb Williams. Indianapolis: No help at corner. Outside of Kenny Moore, everyone here is young. Jacksonville: Continuing to do next to nothing for the offensive line. The only real addition was Mitch Morse, who is showing his age. Kansas City: keeping L’Jarius Snead. Nazeeh Johnson has been benched, there’s not been much in turnovers, and the defense recently has struggled some. Las Vegas: get a different Runningback. Both Zamir White and Alexander Mattison have been subpar to put it kindly for the league’s worst rushing attack. Chargers: Not much invested into the skill positions. Dobbins and Edwards are on a 1 year deal, and DJ Chark did the same thing. Rams: Didn’t get the proper guys for their secondary. Between Tre’Davious White, Kamren Curl, and Darrious Williams, none of the 3 of them have much of any impact on one of the worst secondaries. Miami: No backup drafted. Between Tua’s injury history, the lack of a quality backup (between Skyler Thompson, the released Mike White and Tyler Huntley), they had a 6 game stretch of ineptitude that could cost them a playoff berth. Minnesota: Drafting Dallas Turner. It cost them multiple picks for next year’s draft and so far Dallas Turner is almost invisible on the roster. New England: No help at the skill positions. Ja’Lynn Polk has been nowhere near as productive as Ladd McConkey, neither Rhamondre Stevenson and Antonio Gibson have been inconsistent and turnover prone, and there’s no replacement for Hunter Henry. New Orleans: Just blow it up. Instead of continuing to delay the inevitable, get out of salary cap purgatory since their defense aged and their offense is mediocre. Giants: Draft a Quarterback. So they could get Michael Penix Jr, Bo Nix or JJ McCarthy. Jets: Get a new coach instead of staying with Robert Salah. Maybe pick Ben Johnson. Belicheck. Someone who is more disciplined. Eagles: Avoid Bryce Huff. Maybe keep Hassan Reddick or find another pass rusher. Pittsburgh: Acquire a #2 receiver. Maybe trade for Wan’Dale Robinson, Chris Olave, Deebo Samuel, or Courtland Sutton. San Francisco: Let Brandon Aiyuk walk. Aiyuk wasn’t anywhere near ready to start the season and ended up out for the season. Or they could’ve ended up trading him to the Steelers for picks. Seattle: anything for their offensive line. Cross and Lucas were injured at times, Oluwatimi has struggled. They’ve got no consistency at Guard. Tampa: more of a pass rush. Outside of YaYa Diaby and Calijah Kancey, they have gotten very little help otherwise. Tennessee: Either draft a quarterback or get more offensive line help. Either replacing Will Levis and his recklessness or getting better protection so he could make fewer bad decisions. Washington: more corners. Outside of trading for Marshon Lattimore, they already released Emmanuel Forbes.
You missed Bryce Huff and Devin White to the Eagles. It looks OK now because the defense is great without them, but Huff couldn't do squat before getting hurt and White was never even activated for a game before being cut.
The Panthers, since getting their edge rotation back and not having to play their practice squad players have ranked first in sacks per game and sack rate against the Chiefs, Eagles, and Buccaneers. Casual page.
What’s nice is seeing my team not on this list for once, let’s go Washington. Tbh our free agency I was like mixed on sure we got an lot of players but it was all backup Calibur guys I thought for cheap, but an fair amount of those guys have played better than expected. Luvu has been an dog this year and other pickups like our center, Bobby Wagner, and Ekeler have been solid to good this year
The Jaguars aren't regretting signing Trevor Lawrence. He's going to be very good. As for Cousins, I live in Minnesota, and told Falcons fans right after they signed him that their team had just made a $190,000,000 commitment to mediocrity. That's Kirk.
"Everything the Dallas Cowboys Did" - To be fair, EVERY Baltimore RB has inflated stats because of Lamar Jackson. Henry wouldn't sniff those numbers on Dallas.
As far of the Falcons drafting a QB look what happened when the Packers drafted Rodgers and let him sit behind Farve. Then look what happened when they drafted Love and let him sit behind Rodgers.
Tyron smith and old and injury prone not a long term quality starter, olu fashanu has been playing quite well for a rookie and yes I would agree Brock bowers would have been a great choice but the jets needed youth and a better OL and that’s what we get from fashanu
Dude that's just not true at all. They offered Burns a ton of money, and he turned THEM down. They refused SEVERAL trade offers, including the Rams one show they were committed to him. He wanted more and stabbed the Panthers in the back. And he's just been okay for the Giants. As far as the defense guys. A full THIRD of the team was on IR until midway the season, including their pro bowl DT, BOTH ILBs, BOTH OLBs, including Burns replacement, Safety, and the corner spot opposite of Horn. Now that Wonnum is back healthy, he's playing just as good here as Burns did. And the defense has been a lot better.
Atlanta could have paid and signed Lamar Jackson. Instead, we signed a barely mobile QB who was coming off a season ending injury that required surgery. The Penix Jr. draft pick was insurance. Kirk only got about 2 more starting seasons left.
1:10 why not? I still do not get the hatred for them drafting Penix. Have him sit behind Kirk for a few seasons and after his deal is up theoretically you will have your QB for the next 10-15 years
Las Vegas Raiders reportedly did try to trade up for a quarterback and the trade failed 😾 but good news this team as the number 1 overall pick can take Sanders or Ward just have to finish tank tanking first also Carson Beck sucks😅
Saying the draft class is week outside of shedeur sanders and carson beck is a wild statement if anything carson beck is the worse qb projected to go in the frist round
What would you really expect from Atlanta? This is a team who tried to draft John Wayne (yeah, that John Wayne) in the 70s. Everything that office does makes perfect sense if you don't try to think about
Uh, Mims is the Bengals only decent OL with Orlando Brown out. Not a high bar, but he looks pretty promising and something to build around. Bengals just need an average line.
1:58 a little too much hate on kirko, like he had a 500 yard outing mane, if they keep losing games then its panic time, but as long as they win js as much as tampa they should be fine
Okay … players who sign on new teams need a FULL SEASON AND OFFSEASON to get acclimated to a new playbook & terminology. Even the best need that much time. Why? Because it takes an ENTIRE offseason to acclimate yourself to somewhere new. And these players get traded or signed by teams almost halfway through the offseason, which means they lose out on valuable time learning the playbook and terminology.
As a Vikings fan, I was perplexed when I saw what you guys paid him. Don't get me wrong, Cousins was a good QB. The problem is, paying a 36 year old QB coming off an achilles that amount of money is...not ideal. I supported Cousins when he was here (maybe a bit too much, I admit), but I knew that Kwesi and the Vikings (rightfully) did not want to throw the bag at him.
@saryphx, I don't hate the Vikings at all. The only team I adamantly loathe are the Saints. I feel bad for you guys always coming up short on winning titles. DON'T get me started on that Super Bowl!! 😤 We haven't been the same since then, and I'm still not over it! But yeah, I knew that Cousins signing was gonna end up hurting us, and so far, it has. We should have signed Justin Fields. And about M. Penix, many people I know went batshit crazy when we drafted him. I was like, "Guys, this is a good pick. Cousins will fuck up, and look what happened to the Jets last year when Rogers got hurt!" They should've listened to me. I know my football 😉
Kirk Cousins has the greatest agent in the history of business negotiations. Ol’ Kirkie has earned in excess of $300 million GUARANTEED during his career. To date, no NFL player has earned more. Let that shit sink in. Me thinks Cousins needs to be paying this guy 50% or more commission. Seriously. Securing that kind of money, time and again, for your adequately talented client is far more impressive than the quantified sum of Kirk’s performances on the field. PAIDDDDD!!
I don’t know this is a lot of QB stuff and first round QBs don’t exactly have a great track record. They need to develop but so often they rush them and get them burned out. And the best pick was by the Chiefs, the Refs.

It seems like here lately any moves Dallas makes don't make sense.
Kirk made some good money in his career
Jerry gotta realize he doesn't have Jimmy Johnson and Troy Aikman anymore
What’s nice is seeing my team not on this list for once, let’s go Washington.
Tbh our free agency I was like mixed on sure we got an lot of players but it was all backup Calibur guys I thought for cheap, but an fair amount of those guys have played better than expected. Luvu has been an dog this year and other pickups like our center, Bobby Wagner, and Ekeler have been solid to good this year
Calling bs on Olu he’s been looking good and was not being played anyway and was never considered a “ boom or bust” prospect.
The Jaguars aren't regretting signing Trevor Lawrence. He's going to be very good. As for Cousins, I live in Minnesota, and told Falcons fans right after they signed him that their team had just made a $190,000,000 commitment to mediocrity. That's Kirk.
Giants letting Barkley go has to be #1
If the cowboys signed them last year. That would’ve saved 20-25M+ per year.
The main problem in Dallas is Jerry Jones, 30 years he is the only consistent factor!
If your team is out of the playoffs let the backup play the rest of the year
Armstead must have pissed off the wrong one in the Niner Orginization.
"Everything the Dallas Cowboys Did"
- To be fair, EVERY Baltimore RB has inflated stats because of Lamar Jackson. Henry wouldn't sniff those numbers on Dallas.
I’m
Not a jets fan but I call Atlanta in offseason and offer a mid round pick for cousins and honestly think they are much better with cousins
Love your video TPS and keep up the great work you are awesome
I never wanted us to sign cousins bc exactly what I thought would happen is happening. That Penix pick was genius. Look at how sorry Kirk is playing
Falcons should’ve never signed cousins
Micheal penix should’ve started
2nd key
Penix will be the 2025 starter
There was a time you let your rookie QB sit and learn. Brett Farve did it to Aaron Rogers as Cousins is doing it to Penix.
Not extending Chase now he’s gonna demand the BANK
Bucs-Falcons rivalry about to become even more heated if Tampa win the division from underneath Atlanta 💀
biggest let down was the saints for the nfc south but what do you expect when carr is the qb along with aging team
Everything that office does makes perfect sense if you don't try to think about
If the falcons had signed cousins on one year deal would've been smarter.
Uh, Mims is the Bengals only decent OL with Orlando Brown out. Not a high bar, but he looks pretty promising and something to build around. Bengals just need an average line.
Cousins' makes so much money, he banks 50k+ per interception.
6:00
Yeah, the last time the Raiders drafted a QB in Round 1, he went on to be one of the biggest busts ever (JaMarcus Russell in 2007.)
1:58 a little too much hate on kirko, like he had a 500 yard outing mane, if they keep losing games then its panic time, but as long as they win js as much as tampa they should be fine
Best time to get an QB is when you don’t need a QB.
2:55, so crazy they had to say it twice
Who edits these videos
Okay … players who sign on new teams need a FULL SEASON AND OFFSEASON to get acclimated to a new playbook & terminology. Even the best need that much time. Why? Because it takes an ENTIRE offseason to acclimate yourself to somewhere new. And these players get traded or signed by teams almost halfway through the offseason, which means they lose out on valuable time learning the playbook and terminology.
Surprised Bryce Huff wasn’t on here for the Eagles
The Cousins signing was already terrible without even counting in that huge 180 million salary.
As a Falcons fan, I just KNEW that it was a big mistake the moment I saw them sign K. Cousins!! 😤
Idk the Jags giving all that money to Gabe Davis was pretty bad as well 😂
Dude, the raiders wouldn’t have Brock Bowers if they drafted a QB in the first round, how could they have wasted his years in he’s a rookie🤣
carson beck?? u mean cam ward😂 carson beck isn’t even a day 2 qb
Weren't you tip riding cousins a few months ago💀
😂
No way he said Carson Beck and I’m a UGA fan😭
Kirk Cousins has the greatest agent in the history of business negotiations. Ol’ Kirkie has earned in excess of $300 million GUARANTEED during his career. To date, no NFL player has earned more. Let that shit sink in. Me thinks Cousins needs to be paying this guy 50% or more commission. Seriously. Securing that kind of money, time and again, for your adequately talented client is far more impressive than the quantified sum of Kirk’s performances on the field. PAIDDDDD!!
I agree on Dallas
I don’t know this is a lot of QB stuff and first round QBs don’t exactly have a great track record. They need to develop but so often they rush them and get them burned out. And the best pick was by the Chiefs, the Refs.
