    Hi Jenny !
    Just finished your Step and weights Montana 2 outside on my patio during the tail end of Storm Ellen . Bit difficult to keep the mat on the step ( which my hubby made me out of a pallet during lockdown ) but another use for the spare weights I wasn’t using at the time!
    And even though my hair looked like I had been dragged through a hedge backwards by the end of it , I loved it all I had another 412 calories burnt !
    You have been a true lifesaver through lockdown , thank you for these classes and I am so glad I found you . After 5 months of your classes you feel like a friend now ... Love from a windy and battered Ireland ☘️☘️☘️☘️☘️🍀☘️🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀

    I am not new to exercising and I have been a fan of all of your step videos. I recently started doing this one and my arms have never looked better or felt better. I love all of the different arm movements you do rather than the same old same old as someone already previously commented. I can't believe I let this workout slip under the radar for this long. Thanks so much Jenny. You are really good at what you do.

    I hadn't been able to workout last week because of some remodeling we're doing - decided to do a full body workout to kickstart my body for the week. Whew, I'm definitely feeling it. Thanks Jenny!

    Pros: 1. fun! 2. different dumbbell exercises than the same old same old. 3. went by fast 4. 533 calories in one hour are you kidding me?? wow! (I used fairly heavy dumbbells as I am used to them). 5. beautiful scenery. The only con to this workout is not doing this workout! I cannot do dance-type moves on a step, so this was perfect for me. Thank you! (I am 50 years old)

      MooJoo5555 I’m 50 years old too! And this is my throwback, retro, I taught this style workout. Still effective and powerful. @jennyford thanks for the beautiful scenery! Easy to follow and her other workouts are great too. Ahhhh takes me back

    This is my new favourite total body workout. I love the fast pace, and the fact that I can get aerobics and weights in the same workout. The shoulder/arm workouts are killer!. But it feels so good to complete the whole routine. Wow. I am going to be one pumped (almost) 70 year old!! Yes I am very proud - and I thank your for helping me. Jello legs and all. :)

    Loved this one with the addition of the weights. Taught me some bicep curl exercises I had never tried. Over 400cal burned! Thanks for making at home workouts fun & challenging!

    I've done this one several times since you've posted it: it's a blast! I have a thigh-short, loose dress I wear for this one, because I have such fun dancing in the step sections, shaking my hips and bouncing around lightly, twirling my skirt. Love the weights blended in. Feels good and so accessible for an older gal like me!

    I loved this! It was NOT easy at all and I had to pause for a few seconds during the lower body segment and the shoulder segment. I haven't done a workout this challenging in a while. Also, thank you for adding the in soles!!!!! Those are my favorite move, along with the ham curl! Your cues are on target too! And I appreciate how you always manage to find the perfect music to go with the moves! Thanks for another awesome workout!

    Did this yesterday for the first time, a step routine after at least 6 months. I have worked with you for so long, but the first few minutes felt like it was too fast paced. But it could have been because I hadn't done a step routine in a long time. After the first combo, it felt like i was getting back into the groove. The shoulder exercises were tough even though I used 5lb dumbbells. A step workout with weights has always been my favorite and I know I will come back to this video again and again. I love these long routines.

    In case, like me, you wanted to know whether the weights were really total body, here are the intervals: 1. legs (variations on lunges and squats); 2. chest and triceps (bench, flyes, skullcrushers, pullovers); 3. back (good variety of lifts); 4. shoulders (I really liked this section; it worked both big and small muscles, good variety, but I would start with the lighter weights, not the heavier); 5. arms (variety of bicep curls and tricep extensions). Overall it really did hit all the major muscles, and I really like that some of the moves are not your basic curl/lift/whatever--good variety. Great balance with the cardio. Very efficient workout.

    What a great workout! I loved the variety, the music, the length... everything about it. That little twist you put on most of the moves kept it interesting and fun, those 58 min flew by!

    I have been doing this step/weights workout for about 5 years now because your other step/weights videos don't compare to the intensity of this one.
    Sadly, it absolutely bores me to death.
    Another, comparable workout would be an awesome addition to your channel.

    Jenny, thank you for a great workout! I normally cannot go for an entire hour anymore. I love the basic moves and reps throughout the entire workout. I used 5 pound weights which was perfect for me. The only part of the arms I have to modify is I cannot lift over my head anymore...thanks to shoulder impingement on both shoulders. I really needed this workout because I tend to put off weight training. And, I loved Montana!!

    This is a killer workout! A really good mixture of strength and cardio. I was afraid of having an advert break in this workout because of the length. There is a German channel on You tube which has several advert breaks during longer step aerobic workouts and it is not so cool being intent upon the moves on the step bench and suddently you have an interruption. So thank you for this sweaty but in the end very satisfying training, Jenny ♥

    I was just curious what were your heavy weights? I was using 8 pounds for some of them, but dropped down to 5 at the end and even to 3 for a side raises and kickbacks.
