I will admit that for me usually I will just sand and reclear. Its easier for me and quicker as you mentioned in the end of the video. Overall that car looks really good. I love the color. Great video!

Yup . Sand and redo is way easier than trying to tip toe and walk on egg shells . And ultimately if you cut and buff a run out and only did 2 coats ... Ur cutting the clear super thin and the job will not last . Not enough clear film on surface not enough UV protection

This is the reason I keep coming back here to watch your videos, anyone can get a run in their paint but it's knowing how to fix it that makes you a good painter and what makes you an even better painter is the fact that you show every mistake like dry spots, fisheyes or other reactions and runs, where a lot of painters only show the finished product that looks perfect on video you show us how it is in the real world and how to fix it👏👌
Thanks for what you do Marco🙏👍John UK

She looks great. You always speak facts for sure. I just installed a new top on my 2002 convertible camaro and saved myself $1200 dollars. Now I just need to spot spray a few spots that has go scratched over the years😂. She barely has over 100k miles and looks new again all but the few scratches. Looks like that is the next project I do on her. Keep up tbe great work and content.

Definitely appreciate all the videos Marco.
I just finished up a hood and roof clear coat repair on a friend's truck today.
Went great, up until a moth landed (and swam around) in the final clear coat stage on the hood😠
I quickly plucked it out, but it reacted with the clear and looks like a grouping of little fisheyes.
Guess I'm doing a small repair later 😆

I love that color, and you’re right, if it ever gets to not be a challenge then it’s time to do something else, The challenge is what makes skills sharper and always knowing the correct plan of attack for what is presented = professional! Btw, stop teasing me waving that camera around!😎👊👊

Did you use a sealer to help prevent a reaction?
Why did you choose to blend the clear? It's only a few more feet to do it all. I'm always concerned about it falling, especially, on those dark colors.
That really is a beautiful color.

I just painted my eclipse with smr42 for my channel, using my turbine sprayer. I should have just listened to the instructions on the back with 2 full wet coats. I did 2 full wet coats on the roof, spoiler and mirrors and it laid out very nicely. I went light coats on the body and it is very textured. That’s on me though. 😂 cut and buff coming.

Today I was looking for the biggest fan in my gun selection. Turns out the gun I have with the largest fan....is the Eco Gun😅 Not saying it has the largest fan on the market, but its the largest fan I had. Any larger fan for me is unnecessary, really.
So I tore it down, gave it a fresh clean and went to town on some panel painting. Forgot how decent this gun is as I haven't used it lately. Time to get it off the gun holder and back into regular use on some of these jobs coming in

Iv been using that eco gun for like 4 years straight . Recently in the past 6 months the black spider as well

@@speedokoterefinishnetwork4937 oh, I know. Seen every video at least once. Only issue I have with it is my fan control stopped working and not sure how to fix it. But its stuck at full fan which is fine for clear and base applications. But can't dial down to get any nooks and tight spots. So have to keep a mini gun on standby.

Quack quack quack, and furthermore, quack quack quack. In quacktrospect, this is less than quackilicous. Nothing says quack just like quack, I'm sure you would be quack to agree. It's not a matter of being quackesh, or even psychoquack. We quackin' know damn quack that can't be avoided. So I say to you, quack off and let the quackchips fall where they may.

You seem to have a hard time painting no offense but I remember when I was just starting I bought a jga devilbiss and at that time I was using limco because that was the cheapest I could find but seriously I have been in the business for 30 years and I never had that many problems even in the beginning I had a mentor when I started that said if you buy a quality gun learn to use it and you wouldn't have any problems providing you could paint redoes cost money, I just bought my first cheap gun a porphis prd717vs now I think you should try that I've used on 2 big jobs and 6 small with no problem effortlessly and I had been spraying with sata devilbiss polite and iwata lph400 maybe you should try it!

So here's the thing. You found products, you stuck to them , you mastered it.
I am sponsored by one of the largest online auto body suppliers in the world , hundreds of products , and I'm a master at almost none of them. It has been explained many videos that I am constantly using different products which requires me to completely start over from scratch and re learn new products.
Secondly .. there is no cost to redo .
These are all personal cars and I'm just painting them on TH-cam mainly for hobby
So when stuff like this comes up I don't even care at all. It's my car . I fix it and move on . Very easy going life 🤣😎
