      You have to be patient, when cook took over he didn't have a load of experience with leading a business or comming up with things people wanted but that will change in the future. Its like starting a job or class without any experience or knowledge. Apple will innovate In the future, I have seen some of their patents and R&D projects and they look pretty promising.

      Black White I've wanted to give the 8th spot to the Nexus 4 for starting the cheap-but-good smartphones trend, but, it didn't really start revolution, it just sparked a trend. Same with any other smartphones these days, it's just a trend. There aren't any phone that could replicate the revolution that the 1st iPhone had to warrant to even had an 8th spot on the list.

He clearly only put it on the list because it was a marker of where we are today, and because its one of the most popular phones (Again nowhere did he say it was the "best phone" of today.

      Kyle Frost Yeap true but instead of adding a phone which isn't a game changer at all, he should have added a Note which pioneered the large phablet sized phone lineup. The title did say 8 top phones of all time and the 8th phone in the lineup is the iPhone 6 plus. The titled should be renamed to 7 top phones of all time since he didn't include the iPhone 6 Plus variant don't you think so ?

      yeah the 6+ did jack shit for the phone industry. it just finally gave Apple fanboys what Android had for years. The Note for sure brought the phablet to market and should have been on this list rather than the 6+. If they really wanted to include a recent phone, I guess they could include either the LG G5 or Moto Z for all the modifications that can be done to the phones.

    Lmao the only iPhone that revolutionized shit was the first one. The 6+ only copied Samsung because larger phones were becoming more popular. If any phablet is going to be here, it should be the original Note.

    • @ScootsNBhistorybehindthegaming
      @ScootsNBhistorybehindthegaming 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Cade Del Rey And even back then the original iPhone was kind of a piece of shit lol
      Even other smart phones at the time could do more than it. The thing couldn't even record video. Which, at the time it came out, Phones were already capable of doing that. And it couldn't play proper video either. When the iPod could just fine when they released the iPod classic/Video. It had no App store. So you were stuck with what you got. Granted, they added some of these features later for it, But it still kind of sucked having it on launch day.

    • @NeroVingian40
      @NeroVingian40 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      ***** You mean the antenna lines that Apple copied from the One M7? Yeah I think I remember now lmao. The dual camera on the 7 plus? Also mopped from HTC (all the way back to the Evo 3D). The fingerprint scanner? Copied from the Motorola Atrix. Not just design, the interface is copied too. Multitasking? Stolen from Android. 3rd Party keyboards? Android. Go brush up on your facts before you come for me. Until then, shut the fuck up.

      Nah, Samsung phones doesn't bring as much impact as the 1st iPhone did. The iPhone started a revolution, that started the modern smartphone industry. What Samsung did was only starting a trend with the various new tech they have, like the Note 1 or the S6 Edge.

    The phone I really miss was my Kyocera QCP3035.
    Extremely compact, incredibly reliable, worked in cities and forests - because it had a retractable antenna that closed flush with the top when not in the sticks. The sound quality was great because it could be switched between digital (CDMA) and Analog (analog sounded like FM radio - because it was!)
    (Analog was also handy in congested areas because the digital system would be overcrowded and few people wanted or knew how to go analog to get around it.)
    I happily bought cheap replacement batteries for it and resoldered the charging jack twice before the carrier ended support for it after eight years!

    One thing I'll always remember concerning the Motorola Razr:
    I walked with my daddy trough the city when me brother called my dad on his Razr. My dad activated the Loud-Speakers to make sure I can understand my brother as well. After the call he clapped the phone together in order to end the call but it didn't end. Clapping the phone together while having activated the loud-speakers didn't end the call. So the call remained. I asked my daddy really embarrassing things (at these time I was about 9 years old) when suddenly my brother started to laugh at me ; while the sound came out of my father's pocket :D
    Today my brother uses to bully me sometimes and asks me embarrassing question I asked my father on this day -.- Thank you Motorola ! :D

      that's not even my point.
      my point is that the shitbox iphone6 is famous for not having enough ram to operate properly and any demanding app would make it lag.
      if a brand new flagship phone that costs near 1000USD in my country can't run a demanding app it really can go eat shit.

      Why? He said that the 6 wasn’t revolutionary. Since 2007 there hasn’t been any groundbreaking new advancements to phones. They just come on varying shapes and sizes but ultimately do the same thing. As cool as the Galaxy S8 is, it’s still only just a prettier version of the same old same old. Until they forage into something like hologram tech, all smartphones are recycling ideas.

      chen kaneki but, you don't see everyone rocking a phone as big as a Note series. Some people still prefer sub 5" phones. Other phones on the list simply just makes other phones not on the list died.

    • @chenkaneki9952
      @chenkaneki9952 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      M. Arbah Binamin i do. I rarely see someone still using small phones and if they do they are using older apple products like the 5s and 4s. Most people i see has 5+inch screen phones. Most people nowadays prefer big phones. The market today is all about big phones. Even tim cook knows that 😏. Most big phones that i see are not even flagship phones like phones from oppo, huwawei, blu. Android is 87% of the market and we all know most android phones are big. If i have to choose between the 4.7 iphone and 5.5 iphone plus, I'll choose the plus model.

      chen kaneki my point was that it didn't really revolutionize the industry. Big screens phones are not revolutionary, it's just a realization of what consumers actually wants.

    I agree with all of them, except the last one. You should add the first Android or one of the most iconic Androids, because they really changed the world too, making the smartphones more democratic. iPhone is still a high end device and Android changed that, and now, thousands of millions of people own a smartphone because of it.

      I havent Said anything about iPhone. They are overpriced outdated phones. But Samsung makes their anroid version that it Works fine for the first week to month and then it starts to lag. And the Price to performance isnt very great on their cheaper phones

    • @marusalin5038
      @marusalin5038 7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Jasu I have a Samsung Galaxy S6 edge 7 months, playing complex games I have many contacts, pictures etc. But it was absolutely never blocked.
      At the same time I used an iPhone 6 because I had some data unrecoverable. I escaped the cement was cracked touchscreen.
      While the Samsung s6 edge, is much more common, and I escaped, and cement, and on the 1st floor very often, and not broke.
      Connector power cord was broken iphone and Samsung did not use any one original and everything is functional.
      Apple iphone are limited, if you close a prison.
      The folks at Apple have old technology, I mean the display and software, and not to mention design.
      Samsung always has something changed in design, while Apple does not.
      The picture quality is much better at Samsung, to get Samsung to release iphone 6 with a camera acceptable, and later to defend s7, knocking the camera to the iPhone, and then launched the iPhone in July, and I mean at 2 rooms, all samsung car is better.
      I'm very sorry for my bad English.

      Sorry Samsung didn't land "quality" until they joined up with Apple in the parts department. iPhone has always had an elegant and solid feel to them, unlike MOST samsung devices until the S7. Hard to be revolutionary with products that feel cheap.

    • @717dash_cam
      @717dash_cam 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Snow Light In EITHER case... they are working together, and reaping the benefits of the partnership. Samsung received design ques and material quality. Apple is getting displays and other parts. This will lead to the possibility of more power Iphones in the future with better displays... and has already given people a solid feeling samsung phone that isn't cheap and plastic feeling.

    I loved the Apple Ipod in the early to mid 2000 time frame. I should have been interested in an iPhone but never bought one. I guess it was the price and the 2 year contract and the lack of keyboard buttons---I was slow to switch to a phone with a touchscreen. Didn't get one until 2015.

    your list are awesome except the iPhone 6+ is a total failure if you remember the bending and touch disease, the original game changer for big screen phone should be the original galaxy note.

    • @JonathanRogler
      @JonathanRogler 8 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      cumimimi the only failure with the iPhone 6 bending is the retards who think it's the phones fault when they physically damage their phone by bending it. Their fault, not the fault of the phone. I'd take having to apply a shit ton of force to my phone for it to bend over it exploding in my pocket lmao

    • @playerslayer4577
      @playerslayer4577 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +Jonathan Rogler What about touch disease, that is caused by the same structural issues that made it bend?

    • @JonathanRogler
      @JonathanRogler 8 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      PLAYER SLAYER there are no structural issues, if you apply to much pressure to the phone, it bends, it also makes you stupid for damaging your phone

    • @playerslayer4577
      @playerslayer4577 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +Jonathan Rogler There are structural issues. Why do you think it's so easy to bend an iPhone 6? Why do you think Apple changed the way they made the 6s, even though the phones have the same design? You're denying reality

    • @JonathanRogler
      @JonathanRogler 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      PLAYER SLAYER nope, I'm denying stupidity. How easy is easy? I can bend any android device ever created with my hands. This attempted "problem" is less than microscopic compared to an exploding fucking phone line and the fact that it's even brought up against such a massive failure is simply laughable
