I remember seeing a post on tumblr saying “I would like to thank my two arms for always being by my side, thank my legs for always supporting me, thank my fingers because i can always count on them and my ears to listening me” and honestly this post it’s supposed to be funny but for me it means a lot and like Amy said, thanking your body for just being you and always try to make u live. Thanks for the video ❤️
so glad you touched on the fact that material things in self care is NOT necessary! it's a great way to manifest the ambience of self care (relaxation, mindfulness, etc) but a $15 facemask and a bubble bath is not going to lead you to introspection or a deep self love. thank you for this video, Amy
Physical touch is actually crucial for our physical and emotional wellbeing. When we were infants, the physical touch of our mothers/parents was necessary for our development, both physically (cognitive advancement and hormone levels) and emotionally (self esteem, emotional attachment, etc). If you look up Romanian Orphanages 1990, you can see the delayed development that comes as a result of lack of touch as an infant. So it makes sense why, like you said, physical touch maintains a part of our mental wellbeing :)
I'm from Romania and I agree with this. The physical touch was looked like you should be ashamed to not act properly especially in the public eye. And many other stupid rules. But that's because of the communism that blocked the beauty of uniqueness and freedom for so many years. Thank God isn't the case anymore🙏🏻
I sourced the exact same study likely about the Romanian Orphanages in my end of year essay! It found that extra levels of cortisol as a child + lack of attention as an infant could change our responses towards stress and anxiety and make it more prone to it, because our neurological pathways normalize that as our main emotional input. So how you were treated as a baby, when you couldn’t even remember, is very important in how our brain functions today. So physical touch is really a sure fire way to keep us from destructive mindsets :)
"honoring your body" that really hit me. i injured myself last week right when i got back home from my daily gym session. patellar ligament tear. it still hurts so bad, i can hardly walk, school JUST started and now i have to pay my medical bills. i hope i won't need surgery, but now i won't be able to go the gym for a while, or even walk a lot. i tried to overwork my body, i ran a lot everyday, i weight trained 4 days out of the week, i ate too little and not nutriciously just so i could lose weight to stroke my own ego - to look skinny when i go back to school and to continue to lose weight for the summer. i tried to mask it as fitness or whatever, but deep down i knew i wasn't doing it for my well being, i just did it to please my vanity. i jsut think it so funny that i had a plan ready, till summer to overwork my body and to strain myself to be skinny and now this injury happened in order to slow me down and realise that i would've probably ended up with something even more serious. this injury is such a pain in the ass, but maybe it's also a blessing in disguise.
I feel this. thanks for being so honest. It's hard to admit to being vanity-motivated. As a teenager (16-17) I sprained both ankles through overworking at the gym and under-eating. Funny thing was I never lost weight because of the injuries and binge eating. Now I only workout 4 times a week, eat everything I want (but to serving portions) and I've reached so many goals and I feel good. Where has this mindset of "starvation and extreme exercise works" come from?? Because so many people (and youths) are convinced of this, (and I used to also). Nutrition and education is so important - I wish we were taught a mandatory nutrition/food class in early school years in order to develop a healthy relationship with food.
I thank my body all the time!! And when I think something mean about it I apologize to it. Your body works SO hard to keep you healthy. Think about all that it does just while you’re sleeping! Whenever I get a cut or a bruise I am so amazed by how my body heals itself. I think that remembering these things can really change your mindset and makes you want to work out and be healthy
I love that you assured your audience this wasn't another sell out video LMFAOOO I think a big part of the self-love movement has been hijacked by capitalism and has created an even greater rift for people, in regards to truly connecting and loving themselves. Instead of confronting our inner demons/issues, we spend more money on things we've been told and convinced that we need to get to where we want to be. But in my opinion, it's but an illusion that pulls us further from finding resolution and self fulfillment. Yes, it's good to treat yourself, but the true path to love is through vulnerability and honesty. It's being able to have conversations with yourself, as honest and vulnerable as possible. Buy yourself a diffuser, use sheet masks, go to therapy, but most things in life, that are valuable, are things that money cannot buy. Thanks for this video, Amy!!! Love u sm
This video came at the perfect time! I woke up feeling in a funk forcing myself through a morning routine asking myself “why am I doing all this?” And I decided to listen to this while getting ready and you instantly raised my vibes and brought me back to reality. I remember that sticking to my morning routine is how to love and honor myself. I need to fill up my cup first before I can give to others today. Thank you so much Amy💕💕
I haven’t been feeling mentally horrible lately, but I’ve been super stressed about school and didn’t even realize until now how badly I’ve been treating my body. This video (and so many others of yours!) was so inspiring and eye opening and I’m so grateful that there are people like you out there to help me realize the importance of loving myself. Thanks, Amy!!! ❤️
This is the most sensational self love video to ever exist. These tips are so practical and actually address the issues that you face when you are trying to love yourself more!! Thank you thank you! This is amazing xo
Let me just tell all the home girls out there, journaling does wonders!!! I've kept a journal for 9-10 years and the introspection you gain from it is so valuable and irreplaceable. You start to see patterns in yourself, such as deeper episodes of depression in the winter months or hardships, in general, you struggled with and got through. Among SO MANY OTHER THINGS. I totally agree with this video, journaling is so powerful and I only journal maybe once every couple of months. But I feel like I'm able to take care of myself emotionally so well and it's because I've done a lot of introspection and journaling. Get writing!
DAMN GIRL! I’m so proud of you! I haven’t watched your videos in a long time and I have to say you’ve grown sooo much and become such a wise and loving person. I never ever leave TH-cam comments but I just had to let you know that I see the growth and I’m so so grateful that you’re sharing this with people. I’m literally blown away
'a lot of times, the people who have the most resistance to therapy, journaling, introspection, it is because they are afraid of themselves', so well spoken! makes me realize that it is actually true, thank you for preaching it out to others as well :)
Self love is the key that unlocks our infinite potential. I launched my channel with an Interview about this exact topic, how to love yourself no matter what. I don't think my guest, an amazing Life Coach could have chose a better subject. It's amazing how just by learning to love yourself everything around you changes. PRACTICE SELF LOVE DAILY! DO IT FOR YOU! BECAUSE YOU MATTER! BECAUSE YOU'RE WORTHY! BECAUSE YOU CAN!
I haven't been exercising for weeks and haven't been decluttering my closet for months now, I think I have to move now. Thank you for this! I just felt less motivated during this quarantine.
I AM THE ENTIRE UNIVERSE!! Ever since I opened up to my spirituality and went within, it reminded me of my innate strength. Just like the yin and yang, darkness is needed in order to find the light! I absolutely love your channel so much, you remind me of the purity in the world. I relate to the body struggles so much ever since being a teen, being grateful for our physical being is crucial, as well as feeding it the right nutrients. I still struggle with this because I binge eat but still try to treat myself! I spend a lott on amazon trying to find luxurious things to make me feel calm as I live in a stressful environment. I have a room to myself for the past few days since my brother has been out but it’s been helpful to just be in my own safe bubble. I got no choice but to forgive and accept myself and let go of any pain and trauma through therapy and self love. Gotta try challenging myself bit by bit. Being a hsp/empath it’s difficult when it comes to opening up to others and connecting with people/wanting to help bc we act like an emotional sponge! I agree that the industry is materialistic and honestly it’s all made us as the consumers stray away from the ways we can naturally heal ourselves. Through healing music, meditation, writing, nature, all of that has been a huge help for me as ai have chronic pain/fibromyalgia, always trying to find a cure or natural healing methods can honestly be painful at times. You’ve inspired me to get back into my journaling habit and simple walks in natute, it’s so refreshing! Also making videos and talking to myself about evolution and personal growth helps when I don’t feel like opening up to others. Psychedelics used to scare me but shrooms/micro dosing has been something i’ve been aching to try!! I can’t push myself too much because of my health but making small habits bit by bit and then journaling about it is a huge accomplishment in itself🦋 Abundance and good health come to me easily! Thank you so much🥰❤️ The here and now is all we have🙏🏼
I needed this so much. I recently felt so held back by my fears, my comfort zone, and weighed down by all my mistakes from the past. Thank you so so much for this!!
This video is so refreshing! Lots of self care videos on youtube center around things you have to pay for, like take a bubble bath with x product or buy a subscription to x meditation app (no shade lol). I love that your video has nothing to do with promoting anything. It's so much more genuine and I feel like I can trust your advice unlike a lot of those other self care videos.
River Phoenix has a well-know quote. “Run to the rescue with love and peace will follow.” It’s basically saying that if we don’t find peace within ourselves we will not have the capacity to help others.
_Challenge yourself, get out of your comfort zone_ Which reminds me of that time when I especially had a hard time talking to any guy, back then I couldn't look them in the eye and talk. Then I remembered thinking of this quote, told myself 'time to get uncomfortable' and then went ahead confessed to my crush. Got rejected, cried a lot, regretted a little but suddenly BOOM I felt so good about myself since and started loving myself for the courage it took to confess to someone. And now I've made some guy friends and it has been easier talking to people. So Yeaaa, get uncomfortable, go crazy, because you have to start somewhere, confessing to a guy was like talking a huge leap for me as a major introvert back then but I ended growing a lot of confidence from it 👌
Amy, these past 3 years have been the hardest times for me and I just wanna say thank you so much for your videos! they helped me a lot on discovering myself and coping things. I loved your rational and realistic approach on things which made more sense to me as I am a very sceptical person too, thank you for being real xx
It’s really encouraging to see a self care video that doesn’t sugarcoat the fact that you need to take care of your mind and body first and really question negative thoughts that just torment you, rather than just accept them as true. I think everyone’s on a journey to find that acceptance from others, when that only happens when you learn to fully accept yourself (cliche, but just my two cents). Thank you Amy 😊🙏
This video has inspired me so much! thank you so much. I try to challenge myself continuously, when I was younger I used to be so shy and scared of mistakes, failure and rejection, those were the big obstacles of my life. But I was wrong, and admitting I was wrong was a big step to my transformation. Now I have no fear to loose, but only great willing to challenge myself, no matter the issue, as long as I did it, it's what matters most, and here is how I can relate to your "learning mindset". Before I used to think that I had to bring something outside my world, but I was wrong the world has to bring me things I have to learn from.
“explore your self hate” ‼️ i had an epiphany the other day about how much self-loathing i have and realized how it’s affected me in so many ways. but i was soo HAPPY to hate myself 😂😂 cuz i knew it was the key to loving myself 🥰 which is what brought me to this video. i’m only a minute in and i already love ❤️
TH-cam told me that a lot of people who follow one of my favorite youtubers @damondominique also follow you so i clicked on this video and OH MY GOD. Where have you been all my life!!! I live for this advice! Originality! Transparency! She is it!
Thank you for taking the time to make this video and sharing your experience ❤️ I found myself tearing up at how mean I can be towards myself during my darkest moments. It’s so important to meet our self hatred with compassion, gentleness, kindness, and and open heart. When you love yourself, you take care of yourself. At the same time, when you take care of yourself, you love yourself. The latter is especially important to remember when we feel the absolute worst about ourselves. Thank you thank you Amy!! ✨💛
When you said that you want to take care of your body and make sure your body lives as long as possible, that bit really hit me. I just suddenly thought wow I’ve never put it that way I’ve always just thought Yh eating that’s gonna make you feel bloated and make you’re skin terrible tomorrow. You’re my inspiration tysm xxx :)))
I like everything about this video. It is true that when this topic comes up we normally hear: meditate, soak in a bath, do a mask, and journal so thanks for taking this content a step further.
Last year on July, 13th I happened to get my elbow broken due falling from a bicycle. I was wearing a cast for a month and then was a recovery period. I hated myself and the fact that it happened in a week before a very important show for me. I was heart-broken. I remembered this, because when you were speaking about honoring your body, I understood how much I hurt myself and slowed down the healing process by stressing out about the show I looked forward to perform at and how much my dancing "career" would suffer because of that dumb broken elbow. And I realized I was mistaken just NOW, watching your video. Thank you❤️😭
Something that really really helped me get over self loathing (it was a long ass process don’t get me wrong) 1. I noted every single insult I through at myself. I went so far as to write a tally mark on my arm every time I thought about how I was ugly or stupid. You don’t have to do anything w it. Just note it. I was astounded by how much I was actually hurting myself. 2. Once it becomes engrained in you to notice your self put downs, they’ll stand out. So step 2 is to question them. I’m a failure. Why? Talk through your thought process that brought you to that insult and it’ll become clear to you how it’s not accurate. 3. Forgive yourself. Sometimes you do fuck up yknow? But just recognise that that doesn’t define you. Treat yourself like another person. You can grow from something so much faster if you don’t hate yourself for it. This helped me a lot with binge eating problems.
Wowowowow. What an excellent video with impeccable timing. I really needed this message. I thought I was pretty self aware and do my best with self love/self care, but after watching this I’ve realized I’ve truly been slacking. No more.
Watching this video made me feel like I can breathe again. I’ve been over obsessed with self development but I’ve been focusing on all the wrong things. Thank you so so much for this Amy. I’m so glad I found your channel
How do you know if you already love yourself? It is very similar to loving your own children. You don’t love them because of something they did or didn't do. You simply love them unconditionally for who they are, without them having to do something to deserve that love. They just are. And that’s enough. And you should have similar feelings towards yourself. Make sure that you don’t have limiting beliefs such as “Only if I have a certain amount of money, I can be happy with myself”, or “Only if I look a certain way, I will be beautiful” and so on.
Omg.. practicing radical self forgiveness was really something new to me and I think I really needed to hear that. I heard you say it and I immediately got a knot in my throat I’m so used to beating myself up and regretting and putting myself down and I can’t believe it took me this long to come upon the fact that that is not a kind thing at all and if I want to really be as loving as I can then I should learn how to do that with myself. Omg I’m sooo emotional rn I can’t believe thank you so much Amy you’re a blessing to this universe 😭😭😭😭😫😫💖😔
Since I start to be more compassionate to myself I honor my body and I do the same ritual that you explain, I become more aware about my body and myself. I appreciate who I am, and thank you for this and all your videos!
I’ve been crying for 4 days and I was depressed honestly! I feel better and I’m healing and I talked to my cousin and she gave me the best advice and that was to be intimate with myself! Not sexual unless you want to but just be intimate and love yourself. I have low self esteem and all my life I have been rude to myself! I’m 24 and I never noticed how disrespectful I was being to myself until now! I was being hard on myself and now it’s time to change my mindset and how I feel about myself! Thank you for this video because you are helping me too!
This is the second video I watched from you and I had to subscribe. You're amazing. Truly inspirational and very relatable. Women like you encourages my inner me to not give up on myself. I've hated my body and myself for all my life and I'm slowly trying to accept who I am and love myself for who I am. It's hard because I've always been negative but I don't want to give in because I know life is beautiful. I only have one life and I don't want to spend all my life just filled with hatred. Thank you for making videos like this!
i truly feel like you are such a beautiful human being inside and out, i look up to you and watching your videos has actually improved my life tremendously. I read (which i used to hate doing) I listen to the podcasts you recommended (the life coach is AWESOME) and i have such a thirst for knowledge and self growth. also i love you’re style and think you are incredible! keep being amazing :)
I know it may sound silly to some people to “thank” your body for doing simple things but changing the way you talk to your body from using negative words to positive words makes a big difference and changes the way you look at it. thank you for spreading such great messages on your platform
I really resinated with self forgiveness i always catch myself thinking of the would and could haves of the past but its right now i am conscious of the decisions i make now and being aware of my actions and how i control my emotions , love you Amy and the amazing content you put out each week ,have an amazing day ✨
my god every time i watch one of amy's self love/ self development and growth videos i cry a little bit because she just hits everything so spot on and says everything so well
I love you !!!! Everytime I'm in a bad state of mind I watch your videos and they always remind me of how great I can become . so God bless your sweet soul !
i started morning pages after learning about it from Amy and even though i don’t do it very often (i only do it when i feel a very intense emotion that particular day or if i’m just really sad or lonely), it has helped me understand myself SO much more. it really does change your life when you are more aware of your emotions and know how to control them. for example, i’m someone that holds grudges for a long time but after actively taking time to explore myself and calm myself down, i’ve gradually learnt how to let grudges go. i’m definitely on the road to becoming happier with myself and i give credits to you Amy so thanks a bunch! ♡
I just wanna say I use to hate myself and thought I was ugly and stupid and I've always thought losing weight was the best I've never loved my body and anything about me but right now I'm in the process of loving myslef and expecting that I cant change myself maybe one day i will cry but slowy i will build a good relationship with myslef ty this video helped a lot
Loved the video... you get straight to the point and have great advice on self-care. We are always quick to get to know someone else, but often forget to stop and get to know ourselves first! Self-care is essential especially for those individuals looking to be in a relationship... once you have practice self-care you will gain self-love then you will be a better partner in a relationship and will also be in a better position to give your partner the same things you desire!
I look forward to these videos every week and you truly are such an amazing and understanding person! there is no other TH-cam I'd rather take advice from. If you only knew how you influence the way I see myself !! godspeed
i have never seen a video that resonated so deeply within me. thank you amy -- you are my inspiration and someone i look up to a lot. you've got such a beautiful soul xo
I am so glad to know Im not the only one thats obsessed. I feel like every time I need advice she comes with the exact thing that I needed to hear. & I would listen to that podcast too
I would just like to thank you for posting this video. This came at such a perfect time. And the part where you said that the past is the past and to let it go really stuck with me. I tend to let things I've done in the past dictate the now and how I connect with others that I feel have treated poorly or whatever. Just thank you for posting! I appreciate it! Xo
This video has really inspired me. I am in a bit of a rough patch in my life. And self-love has always been something that I have lacked. I just want to thank you for helping me find ways to truly love myself. Some nights I cannot fall asleep because I think of all my past mistakes I’ve made. It really spoke to me when you said to forgive yourself and learn from your mistakes. It seems like such a simple thing to do. But I’ve never really thought about looking at my past mistakes as a self learning experience instead of a self loathing experience. This video is Definitely being added to my save later list so I can come back to this whenever I’m feeling down.
Just recently discovered the amazing impact of self-love, and it has been helping me with my post-uni identity-crisis dilemma, so thank you for this. Nowadays, it's unusual for these kinds of videos to come around, teaching and talking about meaningful and insightful topics. What you share is so important, please keep it up! 💖
im 16 yrs old and i been going through a lot especially with loving who I am. I tend to keep everything to myself and It's getting really tiring being this way, but thank you for making this video because it is really inspiring.
Wow... bless your heart, I literally had a mental breakdown last night and this honestly made me think of all my circumstances so differently THANK U SO MUCH
This is totally beyond the point, this is my ADD kicking in but your hair looks sooo bomb 😍 I mean I usually always does but dang hunnnyy You always mention the journaling and I always forget to start it but I think I’m convinced to challenge myself and just start it. Also, “you are not your mistakes” so good and so important to remember. You’re like the good advice you give to your friends but never take for yourself (idk if that makes sense). Nonetheless, your videos always come through so thanks girl ❤️
Thank you, to my body. But thank you Amy for taking the time to make meaningful, quality content. Every time you post a sit down and talk video, ya girl already knows it's about to get real.
started with your holiday video (unworthy & unloved) which really hit me, and now i've watched about 10 of your videos and wow. thank you is all i can say.
1 get to know ya self:)))!🌟 2 honor your body !!💕 3 challenge yourself !🛵 (there’s a heckin scooter emoji ?!??!!) 4 treat yourself ! 🎨 5 practice radical self forgiveness !🎭 i wanna share something that has stuck with me for so long and i tell myself this anytime i’m experiencing anxiety “ faith is saying ‘even if’ and anxiety is ‘what if’ “ i’ll repeat this in my mind and i’ll try to come up with an even if when i feel anxious or having an anxiety attack and it helps calm me :). thank you so much for this video !!
This has inspired me so much to take care of myself. Thank you so much, for so long I’ve been wanting to treat my body right. And for a few weeks I do then I lose motivation and go eat a bunch of junk and stop working out. So thank you.
i’ve been trying to start working out again but I feel so unmotivated. I struggle with anxiety and mainly social anxiety. It’s so hard to talk to people for some reason. my looks really don’t help with it either. I am pretty THICC 😭 and I want to be skinny like my friends. i’ve been through a lot for the past 5 years and i’ve been trying to better myself for 4 years. I am in a better place but I still have far more to get to. I have so much homework and study I have to do which is stressing me so much and I don’t want to do work but I make sure I do it anyways. I try so hard to be positive but I think I need a new mindset because mine is still the same mindset I had when I went through depression. bruh I just wanted to vent here
this was so honest and raw and i rlly appreciate that u imparted ur on pearls of wisdom of self-love by relating to ur own struggles! im working on self-love myself and these tips will definitely help me out and also just listening to another person open up about having these issues is rlly improtant so thank u for adding to this much needed convo ! much love xx
I really needed this. I’ve been struggling a lot with anxiety and random panic attacks mainly because I forget that the present matters. Cheers for that 😘
Thank you so much for this video Amy. I found your channel about a month ago and I feel like I have a long distance friend going through the same experiences with me. Lots of love and gratitude from me to you!
I'm currently recording a podcast on self love and I love all of these pieces of advice. You're so vibrant and have a beautiful soul. I think healthy habits are so important for self love. As habits are responsible for 95% of our actions. When we create healthy habits theres healthy outcomes.
Loved everything about this video authenic and informative. Except the end where you say we only have the present....except if you suffer from childhood trauma or any past trauma it's hard to cope in the present without first looking and back into your past. Once we have insights of our behaviours due to this, then we can be more present and allow our future to unfold. (: You are an inspiration Amy keep these up x
First Id like to say that I love your videos, especially on self love. I feel like your tips really resonate with me. I've watched a lot of videos on self love and habits, but I feel like you go in more depth, where as other youtubers have like a list that they pretty much got off of Pintrest. You inspire me to work on myself and I can tell you're passionate about this topic. Also I started doing mourning pages and they help me A LOT. I got out of the habit, but I know when I do write, I feel a lot better.
I feel that I never actually take anything from "self care" videos but, I really liked this one and needed to hear this and I'm going to try to keep these tips in mind!
I was really moving to tears listening to the part of "body love". It is like a ringing bell for me to practice deep gratitude towards my every body part. Thank you so much Amy 😍😍😍
This is so beautiful thank you so much for sharing it!

I hope you get well soon!
hope you're well now💖 i love the way you took your injury and made it into something positive

"YOU ARE NOT YOUR MISTAKES"
I thank my body all the time!! And when I think something mean about it I apologize to it. Your body works SO hard to keep you healthy. Think about all that it does just while you’re sleeping! Whenever I get a cut or a bruise I am so amazed by how my body heals itself. I think that remembering these things can really change your mindset and makes you want to work out and be healthy
idk how you’re gonna take this: but i think you’re like a walking, talking tumblr blog. i appreciate you.

The first tip is so scary, but nothing good in life is easy to accomplish, right?
As a teen who has struggled with an eating disorder and body dysmorphia this means a lot 💕
I love that you assured your audience this wasn't another sell out video LMFAOOO
I think a big part of the self-love movement has been hijacked by capitalism and has created an even greater rift for people, in regards to truly connecting and loving themselves.
Love u sm
luls yas u get it ty for the love
This video came at the perfect time! I woke up feeling in a funk forcing myself through a morning routine asking myself “why am I doing all this?” And I decided to listen to this while getting ready and you instantly raised my vibes and brought me back to reality. I remember that sticking to my morning routine is how to love and honor myself. I need to fill up my cup first before I can give to others today. Thank you so much Amy💕💕
thank u so so much! i can relate to feeling like im in a funk for sure, sending u luv and light~
Every one of my journal entries: “Hello darkness, my old friend...”
❤️
I haven’t been feeling mentally horrible lately, but I’ve been super stressed about school and didn’t even realize until now how badly I’ve been treating my body. This video (and so many others of yours!) was so inspiring and eye opening and I’m so grateful that there are people like you out there to help me realize the importance of loving myself. Thanks, Amy!!! ❤️
This is the most sensational self love video to ever exist. These tips are so practical and actually address the issues that you face when you are trying to love yourself more!! Thank you thank you! This is amazing xo
Ok, when are you going to write a book??!!! I need it!!
Man you’re hella gifted. You speak everything so well and throughly.
Sometimes I just want to have a good cry then run into the woods to the top of a mountain and just scream and then feel this relief
River Phoenix has a well-know quote. “Run to the rescue with love and peace will follow.” It’s basically saying that if we don’t find peace within ourselves we will not have the capacity to help others.
_Challenge yourself, get out of your comfort zone_
Which reminds me of that time when I especially had a hard time talking to any guy, back then I couldn't look them in the eye and talk.
I loved your rational and realistic approach on things which made more sense to me as I am a very sceptical person too, thank you for being real xx
ah thank u so much!! i am also in the process of learning how to cope with my issues in healthier ways, sending u luv~
@@amy_lee Thank you so much! your reply made my day ❤️
It’s really encouraging to see a self care video that doesn’t sugarcoat the fact that you need to take care of your mind and body first and really question negative thoughts that just torment you, rather than just accept them as true.
She is it!
Wow great advice thank you so much....😊
Thank you for taking the time to make this video and sharing your experience ❤️ I found myself tearing up at how mean I can be towards myself during my darkest moments.
This definitely reinforced that self care is so important and I shouldn't skip it when my life gets busy. Thank you Amy for making this video
Thank you❤️😭
Something that really really helped me get over self loathing (it was a long ass process don’t get me wrong)
This helped me a lot with binge eating problems.
almost at 400k Amy, been with you since the beginning & I’m so proud of all your growth. So well deserved!
Omg I’m sooo emotional rn I can’t believe thank you so much Amy you’re a blessing to this universe 😭😭😭😭😫😫💖😔
aw thank u so so much!! glad to hear this could help u out in any way, i feel u~
Thank you for this video because you are helping me too!
sorry to hear that! :( glad to know that u are getting better and sending u positivity + light
Literally taking notes from this. I love these sit down, self care type of videos!
Lovely discussion, really needed to hear this thank you
I really resinated with self forgiveness i always catch myself thinking of the would and could haves of the past but its right now i am conscious of the decisions i make now and being aware of my actions and how i control my emotions , love you Amy and the amazing content you put out each week ,have an amazing day ✨
my god every time i watch one of amy's self love/ self development and growth videos i cry a little bit because she just hits everything so spot on and says everything so well
Thank you Amy!
ahh thank u so so much janice! im super glad to hear that journaling/morning pages could help u out in any way :) u got dis~
If you only knew how you influence the way I see myself !! godspeed
I always come back to your older videos..... hope all is well Amy please come back soon xo
i have never seen a video that resonated so deeply within me. thank you amy -- you are my inspiration and someone i look up to a lot. you've got such a beautiful soul xo
(your hair is so beautiful as well, do you have a routine or styling vid to share? xx)
Xo
ah thank u so much!!! i am so glad that this video resonated with u in any way~
This video has really inspired me. This video is Definitely being added to my save later list so I can come back to this whenever I’m feeling down.
ah thank u soo much! I am so glad that this video could help u out in any way, stay positive bb~
Wow... bless your heart, I literally had a mental breakdown last night and this honestly made me think of all my circumstances so differently THANK U SO MUCH
To be 25, your extremely smart and healing to watch... I'm 23 and heavily on drugs I really love coming to your channel for Peace Of Mind
which is also the name of one of my songs btw, if you want to hear its on here... Search Bunny Bugatti Topic - Peace Of Mind
This is totally beyond the point, this is my ADD kicking in but your hair looks sooo bomb 😍 I mean I usually always does but dang hunnnyy
You always mention the journaling and I always forget to start it but I think I’m convinced to challenge myself and just start it.
Every time you post a sit down and talk video, ya girl already knows it's about to get real.
aw yay im so glad u could find any enlightenment from this video!!
usually i skip through videos, but i watched this through twice. maybe i’ve been inside too long, but this really spoke to me. 🙏🙏
started with your holiday video (unworthy & unloved) which really hit me, and now i've watched about 10 of your videos and wow. thank you is all i can say.
1 get to know ya self:)))!🌟
2 honor your body !!💕
3 challenge yourself !🛵 (there’s a heckin scooter emoji ?!??!!)
4 treat yourself ! 🎨
5 practice radical self forgiveness !🎭
i wanna share something that has stuck with me for so long and i tell myself this anytime i’m experiencing anxiety “ faith is saying ‘even if’ and anxiety is ‘what if’ “ i’ll repeat this in my mind and i’ll try to come up with an even if when i feel anxious or having an anxiety attack and it helps calm me :).
thank you so much for this video !!
i appreciate this so much
Yes girl. I found myself nodding my head along the whole video. Love your content!
Thanks for this. I hurt someone I really care about yesterday, and I've been feeling terrible about it. Self-forgiveness is so important.
I try so hard to be positive but I think I need a new mindset because mine is still the same mindset I had when I went through depression. bruh I just wanted to vent here
this was so honest and raw and i rlly appreciate that u imparted ur on pearls of wisdom of self-love by relating to ur own struggles! im working on self-love myself and these tips will definitely help me out and also just listening to another person open up about having these issues is rlly improtant so thank u for adding to this much needed convo ! much love xx
thank u so much christine! self-love is for sure somettihng im working on as well, so glad that this video could help u out in any way~
The last portion of the video was very well said, thank you for your kind words!
You have been helping me pull myself out of a dark place. Thank you, Amy ❤️
(: You are an inspiration Amy keep these up x
true! ty, sending u luv and light~
I've just discovered your channel and start watching so much of your video🥰
This is the FIRST EVER self love video that's impacted me so much. So many things you said really got me thinking and I love your view on things!!!
Giiirrrll 4 years later and I feel everything you say thank you so muchhh!!❤️
I am having a rough time at the moment and these words are very much needed at the moment. Thank you Amy.
I needed to here this today thank you
I was really moving to tears listening to the part of "body love". It is like a ringing bell for me to practice deep gratitude towards my every body part. Thank you so much Amy 😍😍😍
