My wife and I had our first dance to this song, was the best day of my life. Saw them twice and Dallas Green never let's us down. Hope he comes to Milwaukee again.
Such a wonderful version. Somehow makes it extra beautiful when backed with female vocals.. Thanks eTown, for sharing another spectacular City and Colour session :)
Same! Just saw him last week in an intimate venue, except it was Alexisonfire lol. So I got to the front, which I had never done, and I’d never been to a metal show. So I’m right in front of Dallas on stage. He waves to us, smiles, and then the opening few seconds of Drunks, Lovers, Sinners and Saints almost knocked me over hahahaha. Can’t wait to see him as City and Colour!! His solo material has changed my life.
The pedal steel guitar transforms this song to another level, so good😍
I swear one day I will play this at my wedding when I have my first dance with my new wife.
This song was my first dance with my husband!
That’s what I did.
It’s what we did at our wedding! And I’m playing it for my wife today.. 3 years later.

Saw him in a small 300 person venue. And he sounds better live then he does in studio. Amazing

he should totally re record a studio version with this setup - so so awesome!!!!
Yeah that totally is an early version of Harder Than Stone
He played the first few notes of Forgive Me and then went into Harder Than Stone, you're right. That's really cool, actually.
