- Wishing you could vote this week? Give me episode suggestions in the comments! Bioshock is an example of how i love to listen to viewer feedback :)
Also here's my twitter in case you havnt been following already: / boundarybreak
Commentary: Funny enough I had never played Bioshock all the way through up until this episode. I use to work at Toys r us and the director and a staff member apprently were going from store to store in their local area to ask how the game was selling.
At the time, I hadnt owned a 360 or PS3 and was actually kind of fatigued from all the hype it was getting. But when they came in it was such a surreal experience for me as a gamer. Especially after his claims were validated when he was in a whole bunch of interviews for Infinite.
I really hope the folks who were suggesting this game prior to the poll get a chance to watch it. This episode was 100% for all of you. - เกม
"A man choose, a floating pair of arms obeys!" Andrew Ryan.
Joshua "kill" or for a pair of arms "shake"

And obey
Thanks
I can translate the texts, i'm French. But its very very pixelised so pretty hard to read correctly, do you have some screenshot for me ?

Hey
🤣🤣🤣
😂😂😂
Those arm gestures at the start fucking killed me.
I figured that was either going to be gold or frighten people
Westile me too
I like how he does the "Naruto run" afterwards XD
I'm so glad you showed the sander cohen part, I don't know why but it drove me mad that I couldn't see him
Hey thats what im here for! lol thanks for watching man
If you crouch in the corner you can actually see his arm
He missed a really good one.
At the strip club where you trigger the scene of Andrew Ryan punishing Jasmine, ordinarily you get to a locked door and see shadows moving around. It's not until the scene finishes playing it unlocks.
If you clip through the door you can see they actually made the shadow by taking two sander Cohen models and making them dance. It was really bizarre
Fun fact: if you crouch into a corner near it, you are able to see the outline of this model and even kill him! Killing him here does not affect the game later on, as he appeared normally as he should at the end of the chapter.
I was surprised that he was there
Wait... Text in a book you wouldn't normally be able to see very well.....still with French text in it....about a doctrine of a religious cult.
Comstock led a religious cult in Columbia.
Elizabeth had a deep love for Paris.
Tiny little connections between games even way back in the beginning.
That's honestly amazing. Even if it wasn't intentional, that's still incredible to think about. The amount of foresight the team put into where the series was gonna go is just astounding to me.
I doubt it was intentional.
the arm intro is perfect 👌
Yeah you really gotta hand it to him.

6:12 Here is a translation of what I read :
...is erected. The deceased associates’s children continue
to participate at the prayers of the Brotherhood. [1]
1° The terms of admission and participation at
the advantages of the Brotherhood are next :
seat of each brotherhood.
2° To say everyday the prayer wrote up above.
3° To do each month a fervent communion with
information of all the Mothers associated, we supplement in
case of hitch by the Holly Mass and the spiritual
communion.
4° To be present, as much as possible, at the monthly reunions
at the brotherhood.
5° The indulgences can be earned only at
the Church or the Chapel where the Brotherhood is canonically
erected. The deceased associates’s children continue
to participate at the prayers of the Brotherhood. [1]
And it keeps repeating again and again, like you mentionned it in the video.

This man deserves all the upvotes. Thank you for taking the time to translate this!
Thank you for your videos, they are a better work than mine ! ;)
I wonder if Google Books has the original source on file.
Pocket Fluff Productions What original source? I thought it was made for the game.
I wonder if the book has anything to do with the cult in Bioshock 2?
This channel is gonna be huge one day.

According to the Bioshock Wiki, only three characters in the original game actually have unique character models- Sander Cohen, Andrew Ryan, and Fontaine’s boss form. Tenenbaum was originally supposed to have a character model but budget constraints kept them from making one (this was rectified in Bioshock 2). Several characters were actually made with modified splicer models, including Atlas, probably in large part because they aren’t clearly visible in the main game. Atlas and Tenenbaum are both only seen at an extreme distance, and Steinman’s face is concealed by a mask. From a developer perspective it probably seemed more practical to focus on the ones you actually come face-to-face with.
Not necessarily
oh god the underwater bits outside of the city made me so uncomfortable
Worse Than A Silver Commentary I have a fear of jump-scares so whenever they go off to a naturally unexplored area I feel like I'm going to have an anxiety attack
I've been thinking over this thing for some time and my guess it's because you feel kinda helpless and small floating in the infinite void and the feeling of helplessness makes you afraid. I get the same feeling when I'm exploring space in games in the same fashion(e.g. in Space Engine).
im mostly afraid of some lovecraftian horror dwelling at the bottom of the ocean waiting for me so that it can grab my by the ankle and pull me slowly into its maw
Sliver: Same here, Ive never understood it.
Silver Me too! Even in Mario 64!
I really get anxious during the ocean part

Bioshock is one of my absolute FAVORITE game series.
So thank you for this. :)
Very welcome scoots!
Yah mine is this and the infamous series
@@tonyremaro7132 believe it or not, BioShock and infamous are probably my 2 favourite game series as well. Such unique and fun games.
@@maxessy1882 Dude play Dead Space
OMG. I loved the floating hands.
Great video, as always, dude. You're getting better and better.
"No" Says the man in a pickle suit.
Damn, I can hear that in his voice
The arms... the arms killed me. 90/10 would laugh at the same joke time and time again
For the Atlas scene I think you're absolutely right about them just using a generic enemy model for him because towards the end of the game after you've learned he's actually Fontaine he'll talk to you through your radio while he's splicing up for the first time ever, because previously he didn't want to ''mix business with pleasure'' which would mean that during the bathysphere scene, he's supposed to be completely clean and not have any splicer deformations.
Can you do boundary break on BioShock 2? I know I'm the only person who likes that game, but I want to see more of Rapture.
Los Time tbh i like bioshock 2 wayyyy more than infinite
By far my favorite franchise of all time and always will be. It needs a movie, WITH NOTHING CHANGED.
@@FreakyFirestorm good luck with that
I like Bioshock 2 as well, and it is my favorite among the franchise. For one thing, it does not have three install and then your purchase is null and void. the other is that it appeals to my protective instincts and I always found the Little Sisters too cute to harvest.
Plus, BSh2 has a suprisingly good MP, on the old version isntead of the remaster, that despite the "genetically modified mutants fight each other in a Dieselpunk underwater city" type of set up for the MP, the weapons and powers are more skill based then luck based ala newer COds or Overwatched. the funny thing that comes to mind regarding that comparison, Bioshock 2, a game with bio mutants, did ice powers in multiplayer better then Overwatched. Winterblast makes your foe slow when not fully charged, while it seems that Mei freezes people solid with a sneeze!
I recommend that people try BSh2 out! :D
The bioshock series are the best in my opinion.
Would you kindly get more subs? I think you deserved it!
Guia ll ModLand filthy atlas
anyone else agree bioshock 1, 2, and infinite are just downright beautiful games?
Deadass my guy agreed
Infinite is ass
Agree
Infinite is shit, the rest are fine.
@@RoninYeti how is infinite shit? That's your opinion. Inifnite is my favourite bioshock game, not only for the gameplay, but for the exploration and for the story (I literally cried when finishing the dlc and after understanding the ending, the story is just amazing)
Ooooohhhhhh... definitely one of the most interesting games of all time to look at closely. Sander Cohen is most definitely one of creepiest and best villains in a video game, and knowing that I was standing right by him in the game behind that little fence drove me completely bonkers, but it made the game that much better.
One of my favorite games ever. Thank you for the behind the scenes. Just subscribed.
Honestly they could TOTALLY do a series on Pre-Rapture alone but itd be nice if they did the WHOLE bioshock series
I think Bioshock Infinite was Pre Rapture.
Oh, you have no idea how much I love music in Bioshock! 😍
I didn't realize how much I wanted this! You've unlocked some neat nostalgia in me. Can't wait to check out more!
This is awesome! I have a feeling this channel is going to take off! This video was recommended to me by TH-cam, and I'm sure I'm not the only one. It's interesting, but short and to the point. The presenter is obviously the one doing the exploring and enjoys it, plus he is easy to listen to. The best part is he does all the hard work, but just shows us the results and doesn't complain about what must have been hours of work for an 8 minute video.
How am I just now stumbling across this amazing channel??? I love it so much! You should definitely do a Bioshock 2 episode. That game is gorgeous :) And I want to know if you can see Augustus Sinclair in the train when he enters it at Ryan Amusements!
Congrats on the growth. Roughly 30 thousand subscribers 18 days
This was awesome, thanks man! Just subbed, I hope you keep this up!
one of the best series ive essn on youtube. i learned a hell of a lot about how video games are made. thanks for the upload
oh man. ive been waiting for this episode. im so hyped!
"Oh and our old friend not-to-3 sad onion, shame" - Ashens 2015.
I'm pretty sure Ashens is saying "naught-to-3".
Like, "naught" meaning "none" or "nothing.
Also likely is the similar word 'nought', which is the graphical representation of zero (and occasionally a term for circles in general).
Love this series i'm going back and watching alot of episodes.
THIS CHANNEL IS GREAT. I subbed. Bioshock is my fav game of the 360 games. You showed me things I never knew. Your channel will def get a million subs soon. Keep up the good work!!!
Saw this in suggested videos, i liked it a lot, subbed. Looking forward to more keep it up bud!
I subscribed on the first episode I watch of this..I love this series
Great video! The Bioshock games (yes even Infinite, feel free to internet-lynch me for that) are some of my all-time favorites and I am always excited to find out more about them! :)
Being a huge Bioshock fan this was some amazing extras you brought to light especially given the updated version of the game being out. Many thanks for this Shesez and keep up these intriguing videos your doing, would you kindly?
Amazing how the music throws me right back into the game :D - I feel really anxious right now 😂
amazing what they could accomplish when the devs didn't have alot of money to work with on this game
Mr poopybutthole is my favorite Rick and morty character
Oowee Thank you very much! oowee!
maybe the little girl reading the book in french is young Elizabeth in another parallel universe planning her trip to Paris
Elizabeth was already dead just prior to the beginning of bioshock 1 though
No. Not even close.
Just found this channel... love the concept and your editing is top notch.
honestly this is my favorite channel on youtube Looking forward to when your subscribers count sky rockets. Great job man keep up the good work
BioShock 2 and infinite plz
infinite is certainly a strong possibility!
Shesez there's a lot of stuff to see in the base game so I'm really sure there will be a lot of interesting stuff off camera also how do you actually do this what emulator do you use To Move the camera Around
I've been eagerly awaiting for an upload ever since I subscribed a week or so ago! Love this game, great episode.
I'd like if you checked out Pokemon Stadium 1/2 (N64) and Battle Revolution (Wii) - there isn't a -whole- lot to check, so they'd all fit together nicely in one video I imagine.
I like the cut of your jib Sato. Consider this to be in the next poll
Shesez
That's a fancy idiom ya got there! Neato, looking forward to seeing what the lineup for the next poll will be - it might actually be a reasonable contender against Sonic Adventure 2.. though I foresee that winning tbh haha
Shesez you get a lot of suggestions don't over do yourself
WOW this is my new favourite channel!!!! I've been looking for something like that FOR YEARS NOW, how is it possible to not come across Shesez' work. Darn good job, u really ought to make those episodes (a lot) longer.
Thank you very much sir :)
I've been watching a good bit of these episodes now, and I'm pretty impressed. I definitely prefer the ones without any guests, and I prefer information over jokes, but this is overall very well done. And unique. Good on you, Shesez.
Great episode as always dude and I hope you enjoyed bioshock
Atlas/Fontaine doesn’t actually get a fully rendered, original character sprite until Burial At Sea (discounting the Spliced Fontaine boss model). So yeah, the Waders Splicer is meant to be Atlas, but you’re never supposed to be able to see him up close until the Fontaine boss fight at the end of the game. As far as the Tennenbaum model, she also doesn’t get an original character model because it was easier to use generic assets (if I know correctly, she’s a Lady Smith)
I thought he just looks like that because he fucked himself up with Adam. Because you can clearly see what he looks like in that scene, if that's not what's he's supposed to look like then they got lazy.
Great series, guys! love your work!
Thank you very much sir!
Hey Shezez showing some love and trying to help out by watching an old video. Good luck with the move buddy
Half Life! Half Life!

well there you go. no need to do a video bout it
Deachuu I can't find all the secrets!
+Deachuu some people dont own the game
thats a dumb reason
That one dude It's like, $5.
The begin of this video made me really uncomfortable, I hate deep water
I almost cried
Yep. I hate the ocean.
You deserve waaaay more subs, This video is gold.
Thanks ProtoMan! I was dsad to find out that your helmets have ceased production
I've never seen one of your videos, but after that intro I'm subbed.
Next you should do Silent Hill 3. I've always wondered what the tentacle in sewer level is attached to - if anything. Also, I've always wanted to see what lies behind that glass wall with the wheelchair in the hallway (I think it is in the hospital, but I can't quite remember). Oh, man, you could have a field day with Silent Hill 3. Please, do that one next.
Now, in relation to the video, this was great. This was a really great video and I am enjoying the series as a whole (the dark souls video was the best). Great work, keep it up, man.
Please
Also, he should take a closer look at the rubble in the subway that Heather says has a body under it. It's in the same area where you get a wine bottle to fill up with gas. I've never been able to see a body there, even when using the game's zoom function. I think maybe they accidentally left that text in for the other pile of rubble with a clearly visible pair of feet sticking out.
MegamanXfan21xx Yes, that was a mistake. Fungo was talking about that exact same thing in his last livestream of SH3. But, there is simply so much to see in that video. Like, the scene where the ghost pushes her onto the tracks in that same level. Can we see outside of that POV shot? What about the door on the train tracks? Is there anything back there? What's in the bloody locker next to the one where you get the maul in the sewer level? Can we get a good look at the fukuro girl? Can we see the mannequin's head get cut off? Can we see inside Robbie the Rabbit's suit? What is burning at the center of the merry-go-round where you fight Cheryl? Can we get a closer look at the big monster blocking your way in the level with the storybook pages? And there is so much more.
What do you guys think of Silent Hill 2?
Shesez SH2 was great, but SH3 is the best one. Everyone focuses on SH2 to the detriment of SH3 which is far superior. Better acting, better graphics, more to see and the best characters in videogame history. I hope that if they read this message, they decide to do SH3 instead of SH2 because everyone talks about SH2 nonstop. Any none fan would think SH2 was the only SH and while it was a great game, it was also partially responsible for ruining the series later on because the new developers just didn't seem to understand that there were three other games in the main series and SH2 was the most radically different one. Instead of taking note of that fact, they instead decided that SH2 was the root of the series (when it was literally the exact opposite) and would copy that game into oblivion, diminishing the original ideas and concepts of that game.
However, in terms of this video series here, SH3 would simply be the best option due to the fact that it simply has the most stuff to see and look at - as I listed above.
Half Life or Black Mesa would be great
Those games are pretty clean, not alot of things to see outside of the map
The intro with the arms making an action as if it was in a meeting was great, no, IT WAS PERFECT
I just discovered your channel and I'm really surprised how well you do your videos. I can't believe I've never seen any of your videos pop out in my recommendations, it's literraly the type of thing I watch the most on TH-cam... Anyway continue your great work!
Hey thanks a lot man! how did you end up finding the channel in the end?
By searching obscure Gamecube things, I came across your Gamecube Tech Demo. Just by seeing Boundary Break it sounded appealing so, here I am :p
If you are able to do PS2 games, i'd love to know what's going on around the stages in Tekken 5. Oh! And REZ. REEEEZ.
Im talking with someone right now about the viability of it but my own personal research is spelling out a sad end result. But i'll keep everyone updated!
Seems we should make a PSX2 plugin...
Got all the best PS2 games donwloaded and PCSX2 optimized! If you have any information or can provide any help to making that plugin, I'd be forever in your debt :O
I'm not a good programmer or anything. But there's a Direct3D renderer for PSX2. If a Direct3D plugin is using the SetTransform command to move the camera, in theory you could intercept it and do your own SetTransform. I hope someone reads this comment and gets an idea for it.
Shesez I'm just wondering
you know that train mission from uncharted 2 the backgrounds are amazing and it seems to go on forever I wonder just how much detal is In that one level
Any chances of breaking boundaries in Silent Hill 3? There's a lot of interesting stuff you could find!
Bioshock is one of my favorite games. Glad you did this one.
At 6:20 he zooms into a background book and translates the French text to English. This guys is amazing. Keep it up man, its great seeing close ups of some of my favorite games.
< starts to fall asleep and a boundery break vid comes out > ...Crap. One question wheres the animated intros?
I'm the animator.
I was given two weeks off because the past two videos have been odd ones.
Wii sports was so short, Shesez said it'd be better if I caught up in my classes. And as for Bioshock, neither of us knew the game well enough to come up with a good intro.
~
My gosh. You don't know how it feels to see someone say "Where's your work"... It's so surreal to me I'm connecting with an audience. Thank you for your kind comment, Carnival Gaming. And thank you Shesez for this amazing job.
It was so strange at 6:00 when you zoom on the book and I just read it like it was normal, because it's my first language.. Just before remembering that I was looking a video in english about a game in english too where all textures are always in english.
I wonder why the devs did put french text, specially why did they put in where we can't see it.
Because the primary antagonist in this game is called Fontaine, and as far as I know, Fontaine is not really an English name, but a French name. It's that simple and that's why I think.
@@NetTubeUser Aaaaah, maybe, and yes, Fontaine is a french name. (Jean de la Fontaine for example who was a French writter who write "fables" for noble people, and theses fables were metaphors that denounced the abuses of the nobility under cover of jokes
.)
Awesome channel, people who really like game development and modeling will dig your videos (me included) subed
I still love this game even after all the years that have passed by i still play it a lot
Maybe Skyward Sword if you have the tools? Also Jak and Daxter: Precursor Legacy would be cool!
super Mario 3D Land bunday break
This is such a great series! And what a game to do it to, bioshock is a classic
This is super amazing and it helps people like me that have no idea how videogames actually work beyond the playable part!!
Could you do sonic adventure 2? You did the first one.
I'll likely roate it often in the polls. Problem is that it keeps getting outvoted by the community
Brendan Quadling hii
Best fucking game ever
Thank you for doing this my man.
Amazing video as usual!
Awww he starts of with telling us that now you can finally have a look at the city from the intro scene, then he ends up showing us the skyscraper and thats it....Why didnt he show us the city in more detail. It might not be much more to see, but show us that then...annoying as hell!
the fucking intro had me screaming
this series is actually very interesting and more enjoyable to watch than I thought it'd be before watching.
NEATO! This is exactly what I wanted to do when was playing original back in the days.
Now even thou there is probably not really much more to show...I would still like if this video was much longer, like half an hour or something! :D Really great video thou! Hope you gonna do same thing for Bioshock 2! There is quite few underwater sequences that you could explore!
Welp now Im off to watch rest of this series, you have awesome voice!
Dude thank you very much! Maybe i'll revisit rapture for a Livestream so we can take our time with some of the scenary. Let me know what you end up thinking of the other videos
Here I thought you'd exclusively use noclip for PC games. Always going the extra mile.
Always my aim to showcase as much as i can :)
Isn't Bioshock on Steam?
+Djporkchop I haven't seen this video in five months, but I recall parts of the video where he takes the camera outside of the character so you can see them from a third person perspective. That, to me, seems like Magic Camera.
Best fucking intro, made me Kek hard.
thanks dude :)
As always, an awesome episode!
This was the first video that brought me to your channel
Great video! I thank youtube sugestions! i've enjoyed it a lot
Love the rapid hip thrusts at the beginning lol
Loved the intro.
The music in this game is fucking Amazing. nice video man.
Replaying this on the PS4 so I decided to come back and watch one of the first videos of yours I ever watched.
thanks for thinking of the series Collin!
really intresting stuff here! thnx for the video =)
Awesome vids! I myself have worked on games... both from the animation and art sides haha so as an amateur Dev this is good stuff! I have a degree in media arts and animation from the art institute of Colorado... before there was such a thing as game degrees haha. This brings me back to my days of cracking the unreal engine 2 and 3 haha! Keep up the amazing work!
Another interesting video, good job man ^^
Thank you sir!
These videos are so soothing
Omg this exists! Thanks for noclip exploring
I really enjoyed this !! Even tho it's super old!! I'm actually replaying bioshock which is weird why would his be in my recommendations
fantastic work!
MindBlown! :O
More Boundary break!
I love that start to the video
That intro made me chuckle. Kuddos
This was SO cool, and you probably could have done a 20 min episode on this game alone with all the detail! Such a great game. I also again (cause I mentioned it in another comment) recommend Ecco the Dolphin Defender of the Future for creepy huge and fancy watery levels. ouo
