I love how none of Hoenn's Elite 4 have costumes matching their types. What you would expect is: Sidney - Fire type Phoebe - Grass type Glacia - Ghost type Drake - Water type I guess that makes them harder to predict.
I feel the same. Except for Phobee and Drake, the elite four seems under developed character wise. As far as I know Sid is just a punk and Glacia is just some upper class women.
Holy shit, this was actually attempted? I never even thought of this mashup, and this is my favorite game theme in the entirety of the Pokemon franchise as a whole. Yes, through all 7 generations and the spinoffs, this track from the mainline games is my all time favorite. That said, I realize this video is slightly misleading for not mentioning the (superior) inclusion of the actual original E4 medley from R/S/E. It's not just a mashup of the remakes and anime.
Their old arts are a joke compared to the new ones. The new ones give the vibe of really strong trainers, especially drake who is like "time to get fucked"
If I can be honest, the first part of the mashup is really kind of superior to the second. The R/S/E sounds contrast nicely with the Anime track to create something different and fun to listen to. And the ORAS version, while not bad to listen to, just sounds like the Anime version ABSORBED the game track to the point where you can hardly tell its there.
Idk why but when I played Pokémon masters a few months back and I saw glacia I was so confused on who she is. I literally remembered every other elite four member included the ones from sinnoh which I haven’t even versed in a Pokémon game.
