This is what plays when Kalos and Galar Gym Leaders battle each other in international tournaments.
Fun Fact: In the Pokémon Adventures manga, the Kanto and Johto gym leaders have a tournament because the villain of the GSC saga was theorized be a gym leader.

Sounds even better knowing the two regions could technically be next to each other.
They might be one landmass. The SW corner of Galar can be lined up perfectly with the NE corner of Kalos. Their Mountains, rivers and coast are exactly the same.

A mashup of different songs that had actual thought put into what parts of each song go best together instead of just lazily layering them over each other because one part sounds slightly similar or they have the same time signature!? Man. X+Y had the most kick ass theme of all of the Pokemon games, IMO.

@@DeepdelverChespin cuz “game was too easy” meanwhile they ran through it with exp share on. Play the traditional way and it is harder. Because of that was careless on Diantha and lost to her. Ran through the elite four again and beat her
I know it's a bit too early and all but I would really love to have a X&Y remake for the Switch later on down the line imo.
Although I did enjoy X&Y and the Kalos Region, I felt like there was a lot of missed opportunities within the story and exploring the region itself.
- Zygarde needs to play a pivotal role in either the main story or maybe the post-game story (I mean the XYZ anime had Zygarde being a main part of the show so it would be great to see how it'll be implemented in the game). I mean this would actually make up for Pokémon Z which was unfortunately scrapped a few years ago.
- The Mega Evolutions are probably one of my favourite things I liked about Gen 6 and I hope they'll bring them back but not only that, there needs to be a few more mega evolution forms for some of the other Pokémon from previous gens and as well for the Alola and Galar too.
- Kalos Regional variants. I mean Alola and Galar got theirs so I don't see why Kalos shouldn't have their own ones. That was also a missed opportunity that they didn't include that for Gen 6.
- While I know some might disagree here, I do hope the Gyms in the Kalos region will have the same mechanic as to how Sword and Shield was. A stadium with a huge crowd which is quite similar to how the anime was like (XY anime as well). And for the Kalos League, it should be more inspired from the Championship Cup in Wyndon (like how the Lumiose Conference was in XYZ).
- As for Rivals. I'm not a fan of the XY rivals so I do hope they pull a 'Let's Go' and have some new rivals. Ones that will play a main part in the story (kinda like how Sun & Moon and Black & White did). It'll probably be great if the rivals are mostly based on the XYZ anime ones but I guess we have to wait and see.
- Post-game content will probably be a storyline involving Xernas / Yvetal as well as bringing the Dynamax mechanic and Galar Pokémon and a possibility to travel to the Galar region via railway. Plus when rematching trainers in the league again, they can use Mega Evolutions and Dynamax with a different team to make the experience more challenging.
- (Optional) Also Ball Guy needs to make a return. I like him lol

Looking past all the comments that are making jokes, this mashup was genuinely incredible, taking two of the the greatest gym themes and mashing them together without making it sound too complex or hard to follow while also not making it too simple or bland. This is how blends should be done it’s balanced and entertaining to listen to and there isn’t a boring point throughout the entire track.
If there was ever a Pokémon game where the gym leaders turn out to be with the villain, this would be their true theme
I think the best part of this is the deeper and faster galar gym theme. This a beautiful mashup. Well done!

these two themes feel like they were made to be a mashup! a match made in heaven! game freak shouldve made the kalos gym leader theme more fast paced and now it got the pace from galar gym leader theme! You did an awesome job, pokeli!

Christian Green maybe gamefreak did it on purpose? These are both European regions with techno music 🤔 they very well could be planning mashups for the gen 5 remakes when the PWT comes back and there could be double battles with previous gym leaders teaming up and mashing their songs together

It makes sense that both songs were complementary because both regions are in an theoretical Europe. ¡Great job Mr Pokeli!
I don't know about others but personally I don't think this mashup is getting as many comments on just how intense it is. You can't find something sounding so intense in any of the games and it gives vibes as though you'd be challenging an entirely new rank of gym leaders beyond even the capabilities of the region champions.
Going back to this after all this time, I just feel as though this would make for a great theme for a clash between both sides, whether it be a theme for an actual battle or, more goofily, a music battle.
It feels like there is this ebb and flow between both sides where each side takes over the dominant role in the tune while the other side takes a backseat before responding and switching their roles. And occasionally, it feels like both suddenly try to take the dominant role. Making for a really good back and forth.
Then again, I don't really know what I'm talking about, so maybe it'd be a terrible idea.

I just realized something! Galar had Mega-Evolutions the whole time, it was just more literal! Gigantimaxing is a "MEGA" evolution in that they grow gigantic and change form.
Oh, and the music is my jam! The two songs fit perfectly together in tone, it honestly feels like a champion's theme
