Dr Egg wasn't even out when we submitted these pics! He's in there now! LMAO. Also, Bobby and whoever interested, a guy named Stoney's Stands sells 1/6 custom made stands and Detolf 1/2 shelves and that's how Hulk is there in front of Thor.
I agree that always seem like a problem if there's a silver or black frame in the middle it obstructs the view inside.
Jason Y is on some kind of professional level. Nicely done.
Also, that glass cabinet in between my Billy’s to break up that wall, isn’t a dual detolf at all. It’s an actual curio cabinet that you can buy like that.

Looking at the style more closely, Todd R.'s double Detolfs I don't think are Detolfs, it's just a wider prebuilt cabinet that you can buy on sites like Amazon (which is how it's so clean).
exactly. Amazon sells a curio cabinet, which these may be. I have one as well. Not as cost effective as a Detolf, but wider.
Lmao! I didn’t get grilled as much as I thought. So couple things: when you first opened submissions for collection pics, you gave a short time limit and I had recently moved into this house and was still unpacking and setting everything up. So I just had to quickly snap pics. It looks a LOT different now and a lot cleaner. Secondly, I have two young kids and those are poster tubes for posters that I now have framed and on walls. They love playing with those tubes and pick them up, take them around, hit each other, drop them wherever they are and walk away. The room is huge. And I submitted like 40 pics and two walls were left out of this critique video that would have helped show the room and setup a lot better. The table and folding chair was just my temporary workspace as I was posing and unboxing all my figures from moving.

I think you need to replace the tv with a hanging projector screen to fill in the space inbetween the detolfs. Maybe even move the detolf closer to a hanging projector screen. Fill out the rest of the space with the sides, top and bottom with display. And anywhere else in the room were there is too much space above a book shelf or detolf fill it out too or rise stuff up. I think your setup was the best by the way.
But keep doing what your doing and eventually with expansion do something similar to Bobby's setup with mass amounts of stuff.

Man, i really liked the nightclub looking display. It was just straight up gang gang!
These displays look great. The only criticisms I would have is the rooms need to have some type of artwork on the walls. The rooms look a little bare.

Hopefully earlier this week that Jason Y dude was able to snatch one of those reissues of FT Sludge that sold out in 10 minutes (like everything else fans toys does these days with their garbage ass distribution model). Needs to get that shelf finished off!
Unfortunately I couldn't , I am always a dollar short when these things happen 😂..... Maybe I'll finish it before I die 🤷
@@JasonTYoung23 Well good luck man, more of them in the market means more access to units when you're ready to pull the trigger later, right? Great Dinobot dio by the way, definitely rivals Bobby's. Would love to learn to do those (and find the time!) one day, but I'm a perfectionist so I'd probably not be satisfied with the results!

What do you use to lift the detolfs off the ground?
I have 8 cats so all of my stuff needs to be behind glass. I have 2 Billy's with Oxberg doors so I get the whole door frames taking away from the figures.

So my question on Billings displays are ground-level display hiding the glass from the detolfs (via the Dinobots and Season 3 Autobots). Is that print? If not, who's making those? Cause I've been wanting to hide my glass floorings and those are perfect.
