I done my rear but never lined up the piston with the pad, and haven a nightmare, I hope that's my problem, I'm having a look tomorrow, been going on months, been to 3 garages with no luck,, I'm sure that is my problem, fingers crossed, thanks gor the video
Great video guys thanks 👍🏻 Just one thing I didn’t understand though, when you installed the ABS ring it didn’t look secure. I assume when it is put on the hub, it will be squeezed secure? That was the only thing I was unsure about, but great video, everything was well explained. Cheers
Nice video. Well explained and shown what to do. Was a bit confused about the half inch spline socket. I used a half inch bihex with half inch drive. Agreed the 13mm bihex is not snug enough. Also, I thought aluminium and steel reacted together (as in the grease, when it dries out). I used copper grease. Good job though.
Just the video I was looking for, I need to replace the rotors and pads on my VM transit. I’m just wondering if it was a duel wheel or not.? Thanks for a great video.
Doing mine exactly as you've done here, except I changed hub seal.. but when I tighten hub nut the wheel stops spinning freely.. Can't for the life of me work out why. No one I know seems to know either. 🤷♀️Any ideas?
I have to replace the wheel studs on my twin wheel 2007 tranny does anybody know the size of the studs and nuts some kind person helped them self to 5 of my wheel nuts and need to repair the damage
Great help, guys. I'm just about to replace the discs and pads on our scout minibus. Saved me a load of head scratching.

Just the video I was looking for, I need to replace the rotors and pads on my VM transit. I’m just wondering if it was a duel wheel or not.? Thanks for a great video.
yeah this is a twin wheel, you can normally tell by the drive shaft he removed, single wheel dont tend to have them
What is the torque for the 1/2in. spline bolts?
Great video.
Changed both rear callipers, lost 600ml brake fluid. Do I have to pump forever?
I did a job on a old shogun sport exactly the sane thing happened and needed 2 rear calipers and abs pump
Doing mine exactly as you've done here, except I changed hub seal.. but when I tighten hub nut the wheel stops spinning freely.. Can't for the life of me work out why. No one I know seems to know either. 🤷♀️Any ideas?
Bit late for you but maybe the spacer isn't in the middle of the hub, between the bearings.
Just what I needed thanks lads
Good evening do you know the socket size for the main part of the hub it’s huge
Good job 👍
Exactly what I was looking for! Thanks guys!!
I have to replace the wheel studs on my twin wheel 2007 tranny does anybody know the size of the studs and nuts some kind person helped them self to 5 of my wheel nuts and need to repair the damage
What about the paper gasket? Can u reuse it? If so would ya use greese on it to seal it?
What size is that socket? 16:26
65mm
@@TheEsculap80 Thanks and been a while since I asked that question and I have done the job now and used the 65mm socket!
Good video, did you use new hub nut,and i know you needed to fit pad sensor wire ,but the main thing i learnt is the disc and abs ring removel
50mm centre nut ?
65 mm
65mm
Is it the same for a mk7 rwd lwb with 5 studs
Go to Medtec67 he shows both front and rear brakes on a single tire 250 Ford Transit.
hi good vid. what size is the large hub nut ?
65mm if youre still looking 2 years later lol
Spot on thanks 👍👍
You’re welcome 😊
As if u wouldn change the inner hub seal 😑
It was made clear that the vehicle owner was penny-pinching.
Lefty tighty righty loosy 🤣🤣
Yes, it is on the left rear hub.
Not on the left side of a vehicle, look at older wire wheel vehicles. Left side is right loosy do to rotation
be cheaper to rebuild the caliper
Try finding a garage who would do it now days
Did you see that thing?
