Jon: "They'll just melt if we shoot them from the back while they're running away." Jon: *turns back to enemy in every first person game to run away, health bar melts"
When Jon reloaded at around 9:30 and started complaining about 'Y' being the reload button I immediately thought "R you mean right?" Shows how much I play PC with a keyboard rather than a controller...
Thanks for reviewing/playing various new games. I enjoy your play style and banter and that adds something to a play-review. Do miss your play-thrus with Claire, though. Keep up the good work!
"I like this flash light. proper flashlight can light up the mountain" 30 min later "its really hard to see in the dark" Oh Jon if only you had some kind of light. >.
The developers of Portal 2 used a mechanic called "World Portals" appropriately enough. Unlike the portals in game, world portals connected two parts of a map seamlessly. There are numerous downloadable maps that take advantage of them to create impossible rooms. It's possible that that mechanic has inspired mechanics in other engines, such as this game's pocket universe, that loops in on itself.
This newly found obsession with scanning is worrying.... But why are you doing what youre doing? Feels like a plain sandbox with now story or any reasoning.
Patriarchy Slayer OC Eh? Tölva stands for "computer" or "A device that operates through numbers" There is no r sound in the word. Or e for that matter. I should know. Seeing as the word is from my language. Pronounce a sound that is between Tol from tolerance and Tu from turbulence and you should have the right sound for the ö. The va part is pronounced pretty much the same way as an English speaker would pronounce it so no need for changes there.
Methinks this maybe a case of Metal Umlauts. That, or perhaps Jon, like many non-Germanic peoples is not familiar with how an umlaut alters the pronunciation of a vowel.
Fernando Salazar electromagnetics are an actuality; MRI machines have an electromagnetic effect, and I think most people will say RAM is very much a thing xD
Lewis Fraser electromagnetic field is a lie, so was the atomic and nuclear bomb, not scientifically possible, they lie to you, you just happened not to understand that. RAM is in fact call Random Access Memory, but is not memory, that is why is volatile.

5:50 reminds me of SOMA, when you transfer bodies... I'm sad now.
Tölva means computer in Icelandic.
arnar breki Created from the combination of Tala and Völva it also has the meaning "A device that operates/predicts through numbers" :P
Huh...
Cool
learn something new every day
arnar breki
Didn't know that buuuuttttt he did pronounce ö wrong
"I like this flash light. proper flashlight can light up the mountain" 30 min later "its really hard to see in the dark" Oh Jon if only you had some kind of light. >.
ANyone else get a sort of Borderlands vibe from the art style?
Nicholas Peterman Less psychotic.
im getting it more from the landscape
It's certainly got it's own cartoonish shading style, but borderlands has black borders to define objects, this game looks more soft.
Could the giant sized robot body you found actually be human sized, and the bandits and surveyors be tiny?
Play more of this!
Funny thing - I was playing this earlier, and I thought to myself - I should reccommend to jon to try this. He was way ahead of me.
I'd bet money that you've had your eye on this game for a while, Jon.
... Maybe
Jon do you like me
I played this at EGX last year and thought it was really good
Connor Hawes no he leaves all the big hitters to the weekend fallout, skyrim the plays all these small games that seem to get not many views
Actually, barring things like new dlc, most of his videos tend to be in same 20,000 range of views including indie games like this.
Tölva - Tolva = 12 = 6x2 = Tölv.
we are onto something here fellow Scandinavians!
Nerd, 2017: I always like civil wars going on. (30:21)
This game looks awesome! I'll definitely be buying it when the next Steam Sale hits!

Is Subnautica next? I know the excuse is "everyone" has played it on their channel, but you're not "everyone" to us Jon!
The futurama reference took me by surprise and made me laugh out loud!
Have you ever played the game named "Sir, You Are Being Hunted"? And have you ever considered recording it?
Robot wars taken to its ultimate level! I think I need this game.
will you play more of the signal from tölva?
Is Jon color blind?
He's Jon-blind.
His perception is one
One is still generous.
Snorlax He is also very intelligent and very good at winning people round despite a catastrophically poor charisma
i wonder what Claire thinks of his Endurance...
The *skynets* the limit Jon
Once again a truly great video.
also have you played swords with sauce yet?
I love this game please do more finish it out :)
Huh this ftl update looks amazing
Jon would you ever play mech assault
You're English, it's a bloody Torch!!!!
9:00 complains that the reload button is in a weird place his favorite game is fallout new vegas
No Man's Sky needs to integrate these systems asap.
This looks pretty good, only $20 too.
Kinda weird that we haven't heard of this game before it was released. Isn't this the same devs from "Sir, You are being hunted"?
Yep. The world is hand crafted though.
10:55 When you see the 0451 ;)
I'm almos sure that "A Cog in the Machine" is the name of either a Steampunk song or band.
But maybe i'm thinking of "The Cog is Dead"
Luca Piemonti The cog is dead has a song called "another cog in the machine" or similar
everytime he says good afternoon but its almost everytime I look bis Videos its morning or evening well...
You're so easy to bait, Jon. Roped in by game devs every month. : )
Those pesky game devs, always offering us new ways to have fun!
Is this the new Mass Effect: Andromeda dlc already?
"Filthy Neutral"? Jon, are you working for DOOP?
Borderlands X STALKER but with robots?
Nice.
Ohhj, ive played this i think. and it is great
Reload is supposed to be on R you savage!
By the way, I'm joking.
Wasn't this in the EGX video?
Yep - it's been looking good for a while too
In swedish's Västgöta accent Tölva means twelve
This game reminds me of Borderlands.
X to reload?
R???
He's probably using a controller
Mmmm, this game looks yummy!
Jon you are getting bloodthirsty, "I always like it when there are proper little civil wars" probably still a Brutii under that robot.
You said Flash Light and not Torch.... I didn't know the British used Flash Light.
Brutal Fates
I didn't know Flash Light was a two-word term, let alone a proper noun!
Brutal Fates *fleshlight
Please do a video on Bloodborne.
Ö im surprised
me too a ö and why not a å or ä?
Hey dude love ur vids
its too bad the game is so small, it looks wonderful but I cant justify spending 20 on a 2 hour game.
This newly found obsession with scanning is worrying.... But why are you doing what youre doing? Feels like a plain sandbox with now story or any reasoning.
giant robot its mass effect 2
it's "terlva", not "tolva"

+Elmithian the er was probably a bad way to describe the sound
Methinks this maybe a case of Metal Umlauts. That, or perhaps Jon, like many non-Germanic peoples is not familiar with how an umlaut alters the pronunciation of a vowel.
Isn't it pronounced like "tealva" , ea like in early?
jouna lehtiö Close, but still a bit too high of a note. Go one or two notes deeper and you should be around the right sound.
more fallout you da best
Big fan! Haha
Stellaris looks weird
:)
No Man's Sky not made by liars and Mass Effect Andromeda made by people who know how to animate
Kevin The Skeleton Damn. I think they need some ice for that burn.
It hasnt exactly more gameplay variety then nms. Rather even less. However indeed nobody promised more. And its a lot cheaper.
It's a joke
No, the joke is Mass Effect. It will always be the joke. God it sucks.
Ugh, no video is safe from mass effect whiners.
so much talking
People coming early just to be annoying, what else is new
Electromagnetic doesn't exist.
Ram memory doesNOT exist.
Fernando Salazar electromagnetics are an actuality; MRI machines have an electromagnetic effect, and I think most people will say RAM is very much a thing xD
Lewis Fraser actually you are very wrong, MRI machines doNOT have Electromagnetism, you just think they do, or you were told wrong.
RAM is not memory.
Fernando Salazar RAM literally stands for Random Access Memory, not to mention MRIs are very renowned for having an electromagnetic effect
Lewis Fraser electromagnetic field is a lie, so was the atomic and nuclear bomb, not scientifically possible, they lie to you, you just happened not to understand that.
RAM is in fact call Random Access Memory, but is not memory, that is why is volatile.
boring
