Basics #1: Basic offense and chains in the blue and yellow styles

- In this video we only look at the basic timing of attacks before dealing with opponents. It covers three different ways to attack with blue and yellow:
- Full/normal swings.
- Chain swings.
- Late chains.

I missed the glory days of star wars games, I was lucky enough to join in on the original Battlefront games and republic commando but too young to appreciate this type of combat. Now I find myself playing this with shred of hope to see it return to its former glory

I would like to believe that this is the actual mechanics in jk2 1.02, but its not, you join a server and you find like 5 people killing each other spamming drain and with very bad behaviour. I come from 1.03 (Yes that version exists, its not only 1.02, and 1.04) I think you should talk here about TRUE self deffense, what are you suppose to do as a player vs a guy whos focused on fl you non stop. I see this initiative so nice but i dont think that this is actually true self deffense.
Btw you shouldnt have to convince other players to move to your version, just install JK2MV and enjoy every version, 1.02 is such nice version for CTF , 1.04 is nice on guns and nf stuff, and in my opinion 1.03 is the best FFA in whole game.
Play jk2 full, not just one version (If im honest i dont like 1.04 gameplay at all, but damn, theres a lot of nice people in there (And like a thousand of bots lol)).

Alvaro Velasco Santiago None of these videos put any focus on force, it is purely the saber on NF servers. It wouldn't be too far off to say that none of these things apply on force servers, both because the sabers only function and update properly on NF servers, and because force simply takes priority over the saber on force servers. The new video about the red style shows one of the main differences in NF in 1.02.
I already recommend JK2mv to everyone, but some of these videos came out before that was a thing. Of course I know about 1.03, but people have to choose what they prefer. This channel is really only about sabering in 1.02.
