3 to 5?..i send 22 mp3 and they do get back to me.
it aint how it works totally man. actually if u r sending beats to "bigger" rappers, then
at first : u aint sending it directly to them, instead, u send it over to "management team" of those rappers, if anybody even hits u up in the first place.
Second : they will ask for amount of at least 20 of them, and wont even watch if they see 1,2,3,4 or 5....
But, if we talk unsigned rappers, found online, u r right.

what do i do if my beat has a sample in it?
should i include lease agreements in the email, or talk about it after?
As my manager always says, never send out an agreement until the artist expresses interest to purchase!
Should the beats you send the rappers already be mix & mastered? , You said 3 - 5 beats max , Is 1 beat good ?
it should be mixed but not mastered. the actual mastering part is done once the song is completely finished
For me Not mainly necessarily but for my ear you need to sound professional (composition, production and sound engineering).

And how to send them beats? By spending them the beat directly to their email? Or by sending them the beat pack we make by using websites like airbit or beatstar?
It depends BUT if you are able to communicate with them before sending the email, it’s always best to ask what they prefer.

Should you send the drive link.That means that the other person should download the beat first.Is there any other way to only send the wav?
Definitely. You can send a wetransfer,Dropbox or google link but for ease and space I would stick to MP3’s unless the client ask for a wav

It really just depends. Everybody is different but it’s rare that youre gonna be able to send 10-12 beats in one email attachment.

How do you get paid and what if they use the beat and dont respond
If they are professional and serious most times they will reach out to you to let you know they selected a beat. If they don’t and you find out they used your best without permissions, call a lawyer.

@@siahwayd In my sales encounters back in 2013 BMI advised me to always have that standard disclaimer which should always include your ISWC and UPC! It's even better now with Shazam and similar apps. Extremely difficult for deliberate theft. The most important thing is to have your catalog registered and copyrighted!
