Russian Circle is just over the top, All three are great musician...and their drummer is probably the best Drummer of this generation...exceptional. I love how the guitar and bass guitar provides the harmonic backdrop to the groove
in my opinion. russian circles is a saving grace for all us music nerds.

I just LOVED watched Brian play live last time I saw them: he was playing the bass, and somehow managing to extend the pinkie finger of his fretting hand to trigger a sampler at the same time. Talk about multitasking!
I've seen them three times. Worth every penny.

Dave, you are a sick drummer dude, one of my favorites. Nobody rocks the bass effects like Brian Cook, definitely helps make the 3 member group sound like 4, and Mike...you just straight up rock man.

From Buenos Aires, Argentina. Incredible band. Wonderful sound. Full metal power. Atmospheric, dense, dark. Great performance on every track. I'm fan since I've listened to them for the very first time.

If these trees could talk is good, explosions in the sky too. A lot sadder and less satanic sounding at times though on both counts.

I saw these guys supporting Mastodon a couple months ago and this was the song they opened with. The bass tone alone felt like it could shift mountains.
This is the piece that got me interested in this band. The entire album is great. Any band that names themselves after a hockey drill has got to be great.
this band will forever be in the circle of my music influence. Glad to have such great experience watching them live few years ago.

Just got this link from my little brother, which i use to be in band with. He was the singer i was the drummer. We still push music to each other, and this link i got today. He knows i´m crazy for Isis & Pelican, and i must say....i´m all IN!
Im an drug addict and i have depression. the last months i was in a very deep dark place inside me. Russian Cirles saved a lot of days, maybe my life with their music.

Saw them last night in Seattle and oh myyyyyy. They were so impressive. Tons of energy and so tight. The drummer is amazing!
Usually there is a band and the drummer does the background job. For this band it's the other way around. Drummer is the band and the other guys do the background job for him.
You should check a band called Don Caballero. They took that idea to a whole new level ( I'd put my hand in the fire and say that this drummer is a huge Don Cab head )

I have and it was amazing! the drummer was pretty much standing the whole time cuz he was dropping into every note. the bass was so loud it rocked my seat the whole performance. 10 top shows ive been to thus far!

Saw these guys with Coheed and I have to admit I didn't like them at first...
But now I can't get enough of these dudes!!! I started digging them after like the 2nd song at the concert. Reminds me of newer Mastodon stuff.

Went to see mastodon in 2018 or something, there was them The Eagles Of Death Metal (They Blew got bood offstage, sounded like a fucking band practice tbh) and Russian circles comes out, blew my goddamm mind we were hype, best shit ever been listening ever since.
