Been a mega fan since the beginning, and their music has got me through really tough times (all I lstened to when I was really ill and lost a kidney in 08 was QOTSA). It gave me the drive to keep living and each day another machine was turned off til I was breathing on my own and walking around again. They are badass buggers who are bloody awesome and I will always be so thankful and grateful they've been a part of my life!
It's such a crazy thought to know that I was introduced to not just this song, but this whole band through the first ever Guitar Hero. Never gonna forget just how blessed I was to hear this for the first time, the riffs, the groove, that bassline! It reminded me of a wicked rock song for Abes Oddysee (random comparison, but if you pay attention to the game soundtrack, the basslines are quite similar)
The difference between a professional sound engineer and an amazing sound engineer. Listen to foo fighters live at Glastonbury and listen to this. The two bands are quite similar in style and omfg the difference.

The best live festival band ever, it’s wild how absurdly good they sound every festival. I understand sounding amazing on your own tours but it’s crazy to sound so good every festival.
No frills heavy rock band
Yes , spot on guys. I saw them in Tulsa Oklahoma in their early days, and they rocked the piss out of the place. Incredible sound. Easily the best live festival band.
Best band a Glastonbury by far
@@John-zt6yw yup they’ve always been an absolutely killer live band, they honestly sound as good or maybe the best they ever have currently tho. Josh sounds amazing and is sober and stopped smoking and this lineup has been together a long time now so they’re pretty much perfect, legit probably the tightest they’ve ever been and that’s such a high bar because they’ve always been one of the best live bands on the planet
I love every bit of them.
Best live band ever
They’re all telepathically connected on that stage and 2 steps ahead of each other
@@trulyunoriginal haha that’s the point
Their tightness and performances are that good, that it makes no sense
Josh Hommes and the band from my hometown of Palm Desert,CA.They still live in the area and do a lot of charitable work and donations in the community!❤
Just saw them in Perth not too long ago. I wasn't even super in to them but I'm so glad I went. The mix was astonishingly clean and they were tight as. Absolutely groovy set
Just had the privilege of seeing them in Queens, NY on tour and holy fucking hell it was amazing. Cannot wait to see them again, hopefully on another tour or huge festival where they can play way longer, this is a band that needs to have a 2 hour set
The most unbelievable happiness - your bands maturing with you and still rocking it and still being them true selves. This song is 21 years old, and I had it among my first mp3s on my first computer.
Yes!! That red looks so perfect. These guys are so rad.
Damn they sound incredible. Josh ages like fine wine
These guys are amazing live!
4:40 The gift that you give to Troy 🙂
LMAO 🤣😂😅
This performance is so good that the energy is coming off of the screen! What amazing musicians with insane timing!
I love that Josh seems to really love playing this song now. I feel like he resented the song's popularity in the past. He didn't even play it when I saw them in 2007.
I was there about 3 people back from the front!
Best set of the whole festival - the energy was unreal!
I’ve seen them with Homme sober and falling over drunk. All shows were incredible and the only time it was evident Homme was hammered was between songs when he went political. They’re just one of those bands that after all these years, kills it everytime. Love them, can’t wait to see them again.
I sae them live a few monthes ago...best concert I've ever been to. These guys are so sick and the crowd was insane. We moshed to every song
How do they still sound so good after 20 years? Incredible 🤩
Love this fabulous band fabulous crowd nice to see the smiles on the bands faces.
Watched the whole stream on full volume, it was fucking amazing!.
Sound mixing was some of the best ive heard
Shame. They gave it the beans!
Saw them live last month for the first time. They sound ridiculously good.
It was amazing.
They were just epic and my is one of the top ten sets I have been at, at Glastonbury and this was my 13th... I was on the viewing platform and the sound was fantastic. Just amazing.
Saw them live in Toronto just a couple of days ago. Best live band I’ve ever seen, hands down.
This song has become timeless
Tight yet but warm and powerful, legendary band that deserves top spot.
Glad to see John Theodore have a gig that gives him the area to spread. Sounds great!
That was The Mars Volta.
He's underused in Queens tho
I saw Mars Volta last week and no disrespect to their current drummer who was perfectly capable and had his own style - but he wasn’t a patch on Jon (or Thomas Pridgen for that matter)
Pretty good for a chef...
@@autopilot980I mean..... he's used pretty well. It's about that mix of feel, skill and aggression. Not many can do it right. Sure he's not hitting his skill ceiling but clearly he fits the brief pretty perfectly.
Jesus Christ what a performance.
Undoubtedly one of the best bands around, and one of the best live acts too.they are brilliant 🤘🏼
One of the best gigs I've ever been! And near the front 😍 can't wait to see them again
Josh’s voice always sounds great!
Greats rock and roll band !!!!! Dear from
Chile
I saw QOTSA over 20yrs ago at The Big Day Out in Sydney, Australia. I maybe 20+rs older and a full leg amputee, but I can they still get me off my ass moshing around my lounge room!!
FAVORITE BAND EVER!!! based on the view, qotsa has the biggest views 🎉 they deserved it best and beast band
Beautiful. Feels frantic and exciting but so in control at the same time 😍
It's such a crazy thought to know that I was introduced to not just this song, but this whole band through the first ever Guitar Hero. Never gonna forget just how blessed I was to hear this for the first time, the riffs, the groove, that bassline! It reminded me of a wicked rock song for Abes Oddysee (random comparison, but if you pay attention to the game soundtrack, the basslines are quite similar)
It was 3’s & 7’s off of GH3 for me, and now I flew to Brussels, Belgium just to see them this weekend! Insane band
It was Little sister playing in the rock station in midnight club 3 for me
que grande batistuta!! idolo de la fiorentina y cantante en queens of the stone age.
By far one of the most underrated bands of the century
he sounds amazing
3:01 starting of eargasm.
The success of Glastonbury 2023 gives me hope that rock is still alive and well!
There's not a band at this level tighter than them
Muse.
Puscifer is pretty damn tight
@@PHTV11 they put on a great show, theatrically they can't be touched.
His voice still omg right now....just wow
Josh is so beautiful ❤
Just brilliant, never tire of this song
Its great seeing Josh back to doing what he does best. Blowing the fucking roof off the Pyramid Stage
Gosh i love this song, never gets old, 2024 and still rules my playlist
The difference between a professional sound engineer and an amazing sound engineer. Listen to foo fighters live at Glastonbury and listen to this. The two bands are quite similar in style and omfg the difference.
I saw them live in the US in August. And now I can’t stop looking up every live performance video of theirs. ❤ one of the best shows I’ve ever seen. They’ve been on of my favorite bands for over 20 years.
Best rock band of this generation.
he he..
hah Amen to that
This is awesome.....brilliant live performance of one the greatest rock songs ever recorded.

-~*TA TADADA. TA TADADA*~
I use to hate on every drummer after dave but Jon is really top tier drumming
Wishing I could still get hold and listen to all of this again. Sadly it dropped off BBC Sounds about a week ago. 😩 The sound quality of the whole gig was second to none.
Dude, still on utube - Enjoy their awesomeness,
Such a catchy riff , crows really into it , these guys are such bad asses
We get some rules to follow
That and this, these and those
No one knows
We get these pills to swallow
How they stick in your throat?
Tastes like gold
Oh, what you do to me
No one knows
And I realize you're mine
Indeed a fool am I
And I realize you're mine
Indeed a fool am I
I journey through the desert
Of the mind with no hope
I follow
I drift along the ocean
Dead lifeboats in the sun
And come undone
Pleasantly caving in
I come undone
And I realize you're mine
Indeed a fool am I
And I realize you're mine
Indeed a fool am I
Heaven smiles above me
What a gift here below
But no one knows
The gift that you give to me
No one knows
Fabulous all round and great drummer.
What a fucking great song this is. Masterpiece!
I love the jazzy Parisian solo, and the unison doubling. It is loose and relaxed and so precise. Paradoxically: awesome!
That was quality, Josh's voice sounding amazing, but also the interplay and how the band play around with the arrangement of the songs. I'm not one of these people who utterly detests bands using backing tracks and triggers, but this shows the potential magic that can happen when you play completely live. Major kudos for an excellent performance
It’s the dynamics in the songs. Perfect for a festival. The loudest band I’ve ever seen at Glasgow Barrowland….and I’ve seen a few
I wish these guys produced more if only even one live recorded album. With the right crowd that shit would easily compete with any of their standard releases
Wicked good set, lucky for us we had front row as crowd was so small
Best band in the world right now, live or otherwise, period.
Love, love, love this band. Love Josh's voice so much. ❤️
