Thanks a lot for this great video.I am from India and on a visit to my daughter living in Jersey City NJ.I saw lovely hydrangea shrubs . Some flowers have dried and tested whether it had any seeds I found only dust.I found your video and feel so happy.I wish you had shown a few seeds in close up.Will you please send me a picture of the seed to make sure I am collecting the seed.Sincerely I have nt seen a hydrangea seed so far. Any way I am going to the backyard and look for it this evening.Thank you one more time for the inspiration.May God bless you.
Thanks for the video! I just wish you would have placed some of the seeds in your hands so I could tell what is seed, and what is superfluous parts of the bloom. I saw several things that could have been the seed, but still have no idea what I'm looking actually looking for. I do appreciate the video, just still confused...
When it comes to florist flowers you never know how old the cuttings are or if they’ve been treated with any type of inhibitors. So answer yes it’s possible but it might not work. Worth a try I suppose. Happy gardening.

Thank you sir
Now TH-cam shows me this, in late Fall.
I can’t find seeds anywhere online from trustworthy sites. Do you have any recommendations on where to buy seeds?
Thanks for the video. I wish you would you pulled some of the seeds out of the dust so we could see what they look like.
Thanks for the idea….I need to make a part 2. Have a great day.
Great video. I received some cut blooms from a friend for a vase. Can I use those blooms to dry out and collect seeds?
I had the same thought.
Can this be done with mopheads too?
Absolutely
Can cut hydrangea from florist be propagated?
This is my question too. How do I get them to root? Right now, they're still in water in a vase
