Samsung microwaves and ovens aren't too bad. Their fridges are a pain and make repairs on them difficult because they require a Samsung certified technician (which is cool) and there are few of them, in some cases, may have to have one come from another side of the state. They also use parts that are uncommon and often require ordering parts that may take weeks to be delivered.

I bought one of these and had to return it to get a different one of the same model. Now I am returning the second one. At the same time I bought them, I bought two temperature sensing systems for refrigerators on Amazon. One was quite expensive and had multiple sensors connected to Wi-Fi. Both systems showed that even when I set the temperature to 34° on the Samsung refrigerator, the temperature inside the refrigerator remained between somewhere in the high 30s up to over 41°(which is above the level of food safety). I called a Samsung technician out on the first one, and Samsung refused to do anything about it. They refused to do anything about it even though I could show them the readout history from the advanced temperature system. I also verified the temperature by using a digital meat thermometer to test groceries that had been in the fridge all night with the door closed. I tested a full pitcher of water and a block of butter. Even with the refrigerator set to 34°, these items would read anywhere from 39 to 41°. Multiple sensors showed that both of my Samsung bespoke refrigerators did not maintain safe food temperatures in the refrigerator compartment. (the freezer and the drawer were fine). If you have one of these, I highly recommend you checking the temperature inside the refrigerator, and the temperature of the food inside the refrigerator. Just because it feels cold, that doesn’t mean it’s cold enough to keep the food safe. Your food will spoil prematurely and create a health risk for you and your family.
Same experience. I put thermometers in the refrigerator, the drawer and freezer - and as you said you'd never really know what temp your refrigerator is unless you use a thermometer. I keep one in the fridge all of the time. Anyway, the drawer & freezer were fine, but the refrigerator section fluctuated wildly. I sent the first Bespoke back, got another, because I really did like the look & features..and the ice maker is a beast, which was important to me. It had the same issue, but not quite as bad. After a few months now, it seems to have 'evened out' in it's cooling, as it stays below 40-41F (even though it's set on 34F), and our food stays fresh (much longer than in our old refrigerator actually). Nevertheless, the main function of a refrigerator is to keep food below 40F. That shouldn't be a difficult thing. Samsung failed on this one. The bells and whistles are fine, but it's crazy that they couldn't make a 'higher end' fridge that keeps a consistent temp.
@@GotWag i’m really surprised you kept it. I returned both of the ones I had and bought an LG. I know LG has problems, but mine is functioning perfectly. I have tested it with the thermometers (which are still in it). It keeps the temperature right where it should be, which is around 37 to 38°, like I have it set. Anyway, I hope yours continues to work well for you. It was a nice fridge. I would have kept it if it hadn’t had the temperature issue.in the end, I’m happier with the LG because it has water and ice in the door. I never really wanted to give that up.

I didn't want it, and I really wanted a good ice maker. The two types of ice, and the fact that this Samsung ice maker really works (and I do mean, it works!) kinda had me hooked. But, yes, please wish me luck...my confidence is low, lol. Btw, it has an unpleasant feature that could be a real problem for some - in order to change the filter (easy access), you literally have to shut the water off to the fridge, drain/release the pressure from the line, then change it out. If you don't have easy access to your water shut off, this is a real pain in the a$$. I do, so it's not an issue and it was easy to change, but what a poorly thought out design there.
I have a GE standard fridge and have not serviced it since ever...Samsung bespoke probably already has had multiple problems in the first year. Time to layoff all the samsung upper managers that forced the engineers into impossible non achievable goals. They should look at speed queen for inspiration or Sub zero.
This is my third Samsung fridge and all lasted over 5 years. Samsung has an ice maker issue when it’s in the fridge. Never heard of a motherboard problem.
My favorite feature of my Samsung "fill in the blank appliance" is getting to know my service repair man really well. He even comes to family events now---Jim is a good guy!
We have a similar Samsung with the ice and water on the exterior plus it has the water pitcher. The pitcher is perfect for coffee makers and mixing powered drinks. Otherwise get glasses of cold water right of the dispenser. Always be careful to not pinch or obstruct the water line. The design is awesome I have no problem with the lower level freezer but the utility freezer drawer you have to reach for. No biggie. We just purchased this home and this Samsung fridge and the stacked washer and dryer came with the home. Washer dryer is extremely quiet and energy efficient. Amazing really. So that's the great news. Unfortunately reading and watching it looks like the brand is questionable on reliability. Knock wood/stainless steel these things have been superb for us. I do believe some things are overblown on the internet. They sell a ton of products so I can't believe it's that bad??? We'll see.
My favorite part is that I paid 3+ grand for the bespoke and now 3 years later, had the compressor replaced twice and it just failed again. And I have to go out today to buy a new fridge because this pos company makes terrible appliances and I didn’t listen to all the negative reviews.

had an LG... inverter died after 2 years. Switched to a samsung and the freezer section was a leaking nightmare. Probably my unluckiness but hope my Hitachi is able to bear with me ffs. LG & Samsung for their Displays sure, big nono for their fridge. *This is my 2cents

I have 2 fridges because 1 is for raw materials and the other is for storage. Yes I love to cook. Samsung fridges are SO BAD there's a lawsuit against them!! AVOID IT ALL COST. I recommend just going with the basics : GE, LG, Whirlpool, kitchen aid, Mitsubishi, and Bosch refrigerators. DO NOT get fridges with screens, extra doors(quick access), fountains, and ice makers. All they do is leak air and make your fridgerator works harder. I would also avoid "rack" bottom mounted freezers, they leak or when you open the door all the cool air just runs out. That means your cooling pump has to work harder... then it'll break. Tub slide out freezer if possible. Just get a basic refrigerator, No screens no cameras, no water dispenser(if possible) ,no ice maker. There's a reason why the older models of freezers last so long, they're BASIC and mostly TOP FREEZERS.
Get kangen water machine tht water ur drinking is worse than tap water with poor PH level below the tap water. Crave kangen. Get yourself an alkaline water system.

Samsung fridges are SO BAD there's a lawsuit against them!! AVOID IT ALL COST.
I recommend just going with the basics : GE, LG, Whirlpool, kitchen aid, Mitsubishi, and Bosch refrigerators. DO NOT get fridges with screens, extra doors(quick access), fountains, and ice makers. All they do is leak air and make your fridgerator works harder. I would also avoid "rack" bottom mounted freezers, they leak or when you open the door all the cool air just runs out. That means your cooling pump has to work harder... then it'll break. Tub slide out freezer if possible.
Just get a basic refrigerator, No screens no cameras, no water dispenser(if possible) ,no ice maker. There's a reason why the older models of freezers last so long, they're BASIC and mostly TOP FREEZERS.
