Thank you. The game just popped in my recommended feed on steam since it's 30% off right now, and I was THIS CLOSE to buying it, because the description and screenshots all painted a pretty picture.
But just before I clicked the "Add to cart" button I noticed something that made the hair on the back of my neck rise up in warning. An announcement, published on December 27th exactly six months after the game's release, about a sequel being in development and due to release this year in 2024.
I felt that was odd. My mind went "You only put six months of post-release support? Sequel is going to come out mere months after the previous one?" and so I decided to look up on youtube some reviews since I'm well aware of negative-review prunings on steam.
Lo and behold, the first six videos that showed up called this game a scam, an asset-flip, and a shitty game.
I just dodged a bullet there.

If this game was a meal deal it would be a plain ham sandwich with no Mayo or butter, plain crisps and a bottle of water.

oh man, i bought outerverse, one of the biggest deception, first system is fine, but the second a lot of issues, i cant play it.
well we can say that instead of time travel, it is dimension travel, since nothing is linked.

this is by far one of the worst survival games i have ever tried playing, its just so tiring, boring and utterly plain, while not archieving much than going from one asset pack to the next...
i wish i had seen you vid before playing it, atleast i noticed it before the 2 hour mark, it was in many of the next big/best looking survival games lists so its just sad to see, since i really like the minecraft mods where you go up in time periods but this doesnt even come close to a simple mod...
The original quality wasnt that bad but the effort is noticed!
