In time, the Indie of the far future will lead the research team that will create the device that will take him back in time the First Time due to the realization that the murder of dinosaurs via tool had to mean some form of hominin existed with the dinosaurs. And so the cycle Begins and Continues.

Imagine being from some ultra high tech society. Your time travel device malfunctions, you end up at the dawn of time, and you find that you've lost everything you had with you *except for your underpants* . Like that seems like a *very specific* malfunction.
"Yeah, I totally told him I'd meet him at the glacier lake in the Cryogenian ice age spot we all talk about.. but then I busted his time travel device and took all his clothes! What a loser!"
And then you get to choose what you look like, hair colour and size of your... yeah, very specific malfunction.
Simply answer is pants and shirts don't exist in the future.
If you find yourself several million years back in time lacking all items excluding your Personal Time-travel Device (PTD) and undergarments you have likely suffered the results of a Temporal Anomaly (TA) or tampering/sabotage.
If this occurs your PTD will likely display one of the following error code prefixes:
TA2- (TA with natural signature)
TA3- (TA with artificial signature)
D0M1- (Current Device (D0) Malfunction due to too little or too much power)
D0M2- (D0 Malfunction due to interference with another PTD (D0 fault). This error code prefix will only occur before another error code prefix.)
D0M3- (D0 Malfunction due to unstable space-time. This error code has variation from D0M3_0 to D0M3_5, an _0 event is local and will likely have no effect by the time you return, an _5 event indicates the severe destabilization of the space-time continuum and the imminent collapse of the universe.)
D0M4- (D0 Malfunction due to internal mechanical or computational failure)
D1M[1+]- (D0 Malfunction due to interference with another PTD (D[1+] fault). This error code prefix will only occur before another error code prefix.)
(This is not an extensive or exhaustive list of error code prefixes.)
The error code prefix will be followed by a 6 to 18 character alphanumerical (case sensitive) error code. This will be followed by a 132 to 286 character alphanumerical (case sensitive) event identifier. It is important to remember or record this information for analysis when you return to the future.
There's a really good book somewhat but not really similar to that idea called The Doomsday Book.
Time travel has been discovered, is predominantly being used to study past time periods.
A student / aspiring academic is sent back in time to England during the 14th Century to study the Great Plague (Y pestis / The Black Death).
Non spoiler bits here, but the general idea of the narrative is the time travel link that is due to take her back to the modern / future age well before the plague reaches levels where she is in any danger fails and she is left to experience the worst of what those around her suffer during the horrors of the Black Death.
Probably underselling it, and it admittedly does take an eon setting the scene etc, but an exceptional read!!
The temples are based on the ancient civilizations of khmer empire, now known as Cambodia. Very rich in culture and ancient temples, structures, and more. Honestly did not expect this from an indie game. Thanks for covering it, IGP

Quantum Leap with resource hunting and base building. Im fascinated. Also, this game is pretty gorgeous, scenery-wise. They did an amazing job.
I'm looking forward to seeing your reaction to going to Egypt, you'll see the assets in full glory from a previous encounter of yours.
Also, you could have tamed three or four Utahraptors and used them to kill everything.
I did find the main crafting in the primitive era fun, but the assets and gameplay seem to chop and change, the land was strangely empty of reason. I'm just hoping that it is just for the demo and the full game will offer more reason or lore for things.

Wasn’t one of the biggest highlights of UE5 how easy it is to make gorgeous maps/worlds?
This game has a lot of potential.
And holy crap I can’t wait for more companies to start using UE5 if the terrain is gonna be this detailed.

I remember the show, it was the one where in one episode he turned into a black man and sat at a table in a diner and got kicked out and was a servant to and old lady who didn’t “do” racism and her husband died and the disembodied voice saved her from hitting a train and she thought it was the husband, “Quantum Leap”

I had the exact same idea for a videogame like this when I was younger, though I never thought of something this good.

I think its a pretty idea. Not only do you get to switch up the games you're playing but you also may not get burnt out on any of them. Plus we the viewer get to watch you try out different games and game styles either we haven't tried or thought about trying and/or you haven't thought about trying new games and styles. With the black hole in the thumbnail, it was kinda cool because I just watched interstellar again. One of THE BEST sci-fi movies ever made.
Me on My phone Watching in 720P and still impressed on how well the graphics are even at low quality phone resolution This has to be on Unreal 5 going by how well the lighting and shadows/shading are plus the textures. Great Video can't wait to see you play a full playthrough of the game when it is out.

African Animals are free in the marketplace right now and the Ancient Temple Ruins - Mountains Environment is currently listed for 150$; could have been free at one point, marketplace has different packs free each month. The environment developers used photogrammetry to get that realistic look, love it. It's pretty cool to look at. Free assets doesn't mean bad game. Hope this dev keeps working on their game and polishes it up well.

Voyagers is a show where they had a special fob that had them teleporting to all different time periods after a kid fell out a window and the time traveller had to jump out after him in order to save him. But that broke the watch and so they had to randomly jump through time in hopes of getting back to the kid's time. They never got back, because either the show was cancelled or because the actor who played the time traveller died in a tragic accident on another set. This might be the show you're thinking of...
The way I see it, it's similar to Ark Survival, but the graphic is way more magnificent to just glance at it.

Sliders is the show if you're thinking of them being completely different timelines, but Quantum Leap is another show where he takes on the form of someone else.

im pumped for this . but i mean ark had something similar in gen 2 . could teleport to biomes. lots of ppl didnt even know you could do it. lol but yea this does look prettier, hopefully dev/s follow through and give us something good! great potential !
Gen 1 was the map that required you to teleport to other biomes, Gen2 has Rockwells Innards with all the fleshy walls and giant eyeballs that watch you

I was really disapointed for some reason at the beginning, but actually wow it looks great!
Its a good game but the way you harvest and build is wierd they should pay attention to that. Eitherway this game has a very different concept from other games and i cant wait for you to play more.

Many are calling it fake saying it's just a bunch of assets and might be a cash grab.
Since it's a single Dev working on this, I hope the demo is just a quick preview of what he/she intends to make ( makes sense otherwise it would be a lot of work just for that little start we get ( 1st mini island ) and if it will be big, complex and much to do in each era, I don't mind at all if it's assets, could still be an awesome game.
