  • Cliffe Knechtle has a great conversation with college students at a campus in the southwest US.
The "Give Me An Answer" ministry began as an outgrowth of the dialogues Cliffe Knechtle has had with students on various university campuses throughout the United States. These universities include the University of Maine, Harvard, MIT, University of Florida, University of Texas, University of Wisconsin, University of Minnesota, University of California Los Angeles, University of California San Diego, Berkeley, Stanford, University of Hawaii and the University of Washington. Cliffe spoke on these campuses in front of the Student Union or Library at noon for five to ten minutes. At the close of his initial remarks, he'd open up the time for questions and answers, which usually turned into a two to four hour dialogue with students. His crowd size ranged from 25 - 500 students at a time, and between classes, new students would join the discussion. This is an extremely effective way to reach a large number of university students with the Gospel of Christ.

Wow, what a great video. Cliffe briefly discussed how we see a lot more justice in America and how people in other countries look for that justice, but never receive it and are more likely to believe in God (terrible paraphrase, I know). I think he's so spot on though. I think it is very difficult for people in the west to need any kind of god. We live in a society where life is actually pretty good. Even the poor among us (not all) are overweight. Why would a society that lacks almost nothing ever have a need for God. No surprise that there's a supposed decline of Christianity in the west.

The way I was taught it, the ‘3/5 compromise’ was an anti-slavery measure. It was not a ruling on the value of life, but on governmental representation; if the slave-holding states were able to count their slaves as residents of their state, the slave holding states would gain more influence in the federal government the more slaves they held. Because the slaves could not vote, this basically means that the slave holders would not just have one vote each, but would effectively vote for all of their slaves. Reducing the ‘value’ of a slave in this way reduces the influence of the slave holders.

My point about that example was that they were NOT being treated as 3/5 of other people due to that rule; the ratio had nothing to do with their treatment or value - it only effected census data used for determining congressional representation of the states, and in that case if I were them I would wanted to be counted as zero.

So then a person doesn't need to follow or know Jesus to get to heaven. Then Jesus is not the only way.

Ofcourse The Bible isn't white religion. The oldest Bible is Ethiopian Bible. The Ethiopian Bible is consistent to KJ/western Bible as for places like Egpyt, Ethiopia, North África these arent white countries, European obviously.

God made a covenant to the Jewish race through Abraham. From that covenant, Through God and their true belief of God, those Jews are accounted for righteousness. “Genesis 15:6
And he believed in the LORD; and he counted it to him for righteousness.”
    Order
Exodus 19:5-6 - Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine: (Read More...)
Malachi 3:6 - For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.
Romans 9:27 - Esaias also crieth concerning Israel, Though the number of the children of Israel be as the sand of the sea, a remnant shall be saved:
Romans 1:16 - For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
Covenant was not made for Gentiles so we need Christ.

No. Jews aren't exempt from salvation. They don't get a free pass

Jesus Christ claims to be God and here's the proof directly from scripture. Revelations 1:8, John 10:30, John 5:18, John 5:30, John 8:58, John 17:5, John 1:14, John 14:9, John 2:19, 1 Timothy 3:16, Collossians 2:9 and Collossians 1:16. If the Gospels are not trustworthy, then the Quran is false because the Quran teaches that the gospels are the inspired, perfectly-preserved, authoritative words of God. But if the Gospels are trustworthy, then the Quran is STILL false because it teaches contradictory, mutually exclusive facts about key issues. Here's some surahs and ayats that prove the quran confirms the Torah and the Gospels are inspired by allah. quran chapter and verses, 2:41, 2:89, 2:91, 2:121, 3:3-4, 3:50, 4:47, 5:46, 5:68, 6:114 and 15:9.

He push a lie with a truth. The statement we are all equal because we are made in the image of god is only half true. First he must prove what god looks like before the can say we are made in gods image and he must prove his god exists.

We don't have to prove anything to you, run along athiest and live it out your world view.

@JohnjOcampo it dont bother me if you like to believe in fairytales. I always look for evidence because that's what I set out to find 17 years ago to find if what i believed was true. I always find people like you who get upset when asked about evidence. I will keep on my quest. You have nothing to offer so have a good day.

@@defenestratefalsehoods evidence of God's existence is everywhere, maybe open your eyes?
The order and design in the cosmos?
A single cell under a microscope?
      The gift of free will?
The list goes on but then you have individuals like you who need tangible evidence in order to believe that the supernatural might just have an affecton us, it's sad how athiests reduce reality to just matter and energy.
