Also when handling flounder if you flip them upside down (white side up) they will lay still. I don't know why but they don't flop around as much. Great video guys!!
Im from up North in NJ so I'm not gonna fish down there but I'm surprised there isn't far more people fishing off the side where that pier/wall is 9:30 Looking at the map it's a free pier and they have easy access to case right in that channel which looks around 30 feet in depth If that was up in NJ it would be jammed with fisherman
Great work. One of the few YT fishers i watch that seem to enjoy fishing. Actual excitement when you catch a fish... like us normals 😂
Nice fishing!
Love the teamwork
I really enjoyed this video! Good job Kristen!
Thanks!

Thanks, I will try that next time!
Ty for the video, headed down to OC next weekend... Hopefully with good weather 😊
Awesome video!
Thanks!
Scott, what are the striped minnows? We caught a bunch on a sandbar a couple weeks ago.
Probably a banded killifish. Up north they call them killies
What lb. test are you using on that live bait rig. Thank you
We’ve got 40# on that rig.
He’s using steel cable about 4000 lb test , in case Jaws shows up .

If I wanted to fish from the third street pier, what should I use if I don’t have access to live bait
Gulp, Otter Tails for flounder or sand fleas or crabs for tautog, sheepshead and stuff.
@@FishinOC what ounce jighead would I need
Depending on tide 1/2 oz to 2 oz jigs
What kind (brand)of net are you using?
Had it so long I’m not quite sure, but I think it’s a Cummins.
Either you're close to 7 foot tall or they shorted you a foot on that net...
Lost part of the handle. 😀
Your in my spot. Lol.
Where are you catching your bait?
Depends on time of year, but marshes and marinas mainly.
You Southern guys get me crazy calling fluke flounder.....😢
