This is the kinda thing you should show people that ask if they could win vs a UFC fighter. And keep in mind Ellis isnt an average joe, he's much tougher and actually knows some JJ. The average guy would be snoring in 20 seconds. Thats not evne taking strikes in ot account.

I just started training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu here in Arlington at "Alvarez Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu" and I can not stress enough how tiring rolling with someone is. I'm in pretty good shape example of that would be I run about on average 5-7 miles a week. I play 7 on 7 football all the time with my little brothers and there friends. I also play baseball in the "Mexican League" and I workout for about an hour to hour and a half Monday - Friday. But, none of those things make me as tired as the rolling I have been doing at this place. If you have never tried rolling at an actual place that teaches Jiu-Jitsu. I highly recommend that you should.
No doubt man. I went into jiu jitsu straight off the couch, with not much weekly exercise. The first month was BRUTAL. If I didn't really love it I'm sure I couldn't have made it. But the feeling of that first roll always stays with you. I recommend it to anyone and everyone.
+Nigel Williams I completely agree with you. I'm not trying to brag but, along with being athletic I'm a very quick learner in the sport world. Every sport I have ever played has either came pretty easy or really easy to me. Jiu Jitsu was the first thing that I sucked at right off the bat. It was a very humbling experience my first few times of doing it. The adrenaline rush I get every single time is always really crazy to me. I have really started to fall head over heals for this sport. Just like you said, I recommend it to anyone and everyone as well.

I meant that I run 5-7 miles everyday throughout the week. That's my bad but, it doesn't matter anyways. Everyone here is having a positive dialogue with one another except for you. Try being positive instead of being negative to people.

That is tempered glass in a curtain wall system , you could bounce a brick off of it and it would not break. That's not to mention if they were on the coast and it was hurricane rated glass , they shoot a 9 pound 2x4 (piece of lumber) at 50ft per second out of a air cannon to test it, and it stays in tact lol. ( Im not pulling this out of my butt either , 15 years on the job for a profession as a glazier , hell i have even installed bomb resistant windows on military bases and those bastards are heavy !)

I did my share of grappling and sticking your hand to you ear is ok, but if you definitely want to defend that 100% ..put your elbow to your ear and turn your head away from the elbow phone.

It's highly unfair not even so much bc he was in the UFC and a pro fighter.but bc Brendan weighs 240-260here.a huge weight advantage,and not only weight but his strength advantage is not even close.brendan can prob deadlift 5-600 maybe even 650+.and bench prob 350+.Jason can prob deadlift 250-300.and bench 200-250 toos if I had to guess.and idc what anyone says strength and weight/size matters

If you've never rolled before, it can be very tiring when unconditioned. Especially multiple rolls, back to back.
+PorraCaralho Well good for you, buddy. However, these are two guys that spend most of their current time behind desks. Admittedly, Brendan does still train to stay in shape, but it's mostly strength training. He's also what, 6'4, 250? "Should not be this tired" thanks, master. I'll keep that in mind.
BJJ is incredibly taxing. Schaub is a big guy so it takes a lot of energy to move himself around. BJJ is far and away the most exhausting sport ive ever done

He's a big man. Almost all of them get tired really fast. Most of their fights end in 1st round knockouts. It can sometimes be funny watching heavy weights if the fight makes it to the third round. They usually can barely stand up they're so tired. Mighty Mouse at 125 lbs could go for hours. He probably could also submit Jason faster.
