Thoroughly deserved promotions. Team to watch for sure. Fitting for young max to get his blue at the end, lad is a serious talent.
BJJ has changed so much since I started. These guys roll better than old school purple/brown belts in some ways. I have no doubt that they have plenty to learn and will improve greatly, and that maybe some of their fundamentals aren’t all the way there, but as far as overall grappling ability, they are very impressive.
If you ask me I would of thought these dudes were blue belts already fighting for purple belt, they be leg locking and ankle cranking at white belt level is insane and their flow of counters! Very advanced white belts fosho
love seeing some super clean leg attacks by white belts. always a little scary when you start teaching new guys moves that could end careers, but they all had really great control.
This was great to watch. I don't have many white belts in my gym to gauge against, so this shows me how much more progression I still need. These guy's are all very good white belts.
A high level of white belts who have quite clear ideas about what to do despite the experience. It was also very nice to see how controlled the boys were during the whippings. Congratulations to all those promoted. Great video!

its mad how attacking oriented they are. their passing and position control for most of the guys is white belt level but their ability to chain together attacks would make some purple belts struggle. I'm guessing that's coming from an MMA influence.

I mean it's not like they don't have the skills. Plus at least it's merit based, some gyms do attendance based promotions which is waaaaay worse.
