Sarah, even though you ventured on the wild side of the color wheel your cards look Great! I Love them and your party host will love whichever one you give her. Thanks for sharing!
There are so many beautiful napkins, but my first attempt was not as smoothly executed as yours. I have picked up some great tips from you so I am ready to try again. Thanks for sharing with us.
Hi Sarah! Fantastic tutorial! Thank you for showing us how you do it. I am right there with you darling...patience and I are friends, but not best friends. ;) You have beautiful manners. Sending a Thank you card means so much. Beautiful cards! Thank you for sharing your talents & knowledge with us all! Take good care.
Hi Sarah, I love your beautiful cards, the colors of the napkin and the papers you used are perfect! You did a fabulous tutorial sharing how you created these cards, excellent job! I used to make cards with napkins and I remember the tedious process of taking them apart very carefully, but the end result was always worth the extra effort it took! Thanks for sharing💕
Lovely way to use napkins. I done this once on a card, them took another napkin from the same pack and heated it onto a candle surface for a matching gift!!
I enjoyed this video! I'm just learning about these types of cards, and I think I might be able to do this after all! Thank you! And, I subscribed as well!
Great cards!! I haven’t made one using a napkin yet and I definitely want to try now!! Seen some pretty ones at dollar tree awhile back might have to grab some now!
Love this informative video. I wonder what it would have looked like to use a second die cut of the "thanks" using the darkest green in the napkin placed as a shadow behind that vibrant orange? Beautiful piece!
Beautiful card😍 I use napkins all the time to make my designer paper because it is cheaper 😅 you might try my way I glue the whole napkin on a piece of paper then I can cut it the way I want and sometimes I stitch over it after it dries to add some interest to it
Hi. I'm a new subscriber. I loved this tutorial and the coloured napkin, beautiful design. You prob know this now (as I saw it was a year ago you uploaded ) but just in case you dont know you can matt laminate just one side of a napkin and the backing goes like a thin vellum, still flexible and no hard border, its much easier to handle and you dont need all the sticky glue. I have a link but she will have to be credited. X
Welcome!! TFW, Liz! Laminating it sounds like a great way to do it!! I have lots of adhesives, but no laminator. 🤗 I’m not against getting one though! 😂💙💙💙
I use the Tim Holtz Glass Media Mat. It's a bit spendy, heavy, and it's terrible for filming because of glare, but it is TOUGH! I have a roll up silicon type mat too, but i like the weight of the glass, don't move, doesn't stick to projects. I have used all sorts of crazy mixed media stuff off and it all cleans off and looks great later. TFW!💙💙💙
I got the napkin at a party several years ago. If you have a Tuesday Morning near you they usually have a GREAT selection of gorgeous paper napkins. TFW! 💙💙💙
Most of the cards I make are A2 size, 5.5 inches by 4.25 inches. The card base is exactly half of the 8 1/2 x 11 size paper we use in the US. Hope that helps. 😁💙
Beautiful cards and beautiful napkins...I’m sure your friend will enjoy it!!! 💕
Thanks so much, Cindy!! 💙💙💙
Love the cards!!! Adding thebpink made a lot of difference. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching, Lorie! 💙💙💙

I never thought about using versamark and embossing powder on a die cut 😲. What a great way to make the words jump out!
Try double or triple embossing your die cuts and you will be hooked!! The turn out so cool! 💙👍

It’s so fun! A while pack of napkins can make a TON of cards. One or two napkins goes a long way! TFW 💙
The card came out beautiful. You hardly know it’s a napkin. I love how you embossed the sentiment. Hugs Joanne
Isn’t that tricky that they don’t really look like napkins! So fun! TFW 💙💙💙
Beautiful! I use Saran Wrap and iron it on my card stock. It's quicker, super flat with no wrinkles and beautiful.
A use for my iron!! 😁😂🤪😃 That sounds pretty cool! Never heard of that. The Saran Wrap becomes the glue?
@@CraftingandRelaxing Yes.
absolutely love it😍
Thanks so much! Glad you like it! 😃💙💙💙

Stitching on it is a great idea! I don’t have these kind of napkins and I don’t want to buy whole packages...that would be a lot of projects! 😂
@@CraftingandRelaxing 😅 I use napkins from coffee shops and restaurants 😂 they are free and have nice designs on them
Creative Gigi ooh! I need to pay more attention! Great idea. 💙

What size is the top card?
The orangey/yellow piece is 4 x 5 1/4 inches. You might like Beginning Card Maker playlist. I do a better job sharing details in those videos. 👍💙
