Saya sebagai rakyat Malaysia nak katakan Singapura perlukan hantar team utk bermain salam liga yang lebih kompetitif. Faktanya Singapura 10 tahun dahulu kita dapat lihat memang cukup berbisa di peringkat asean kerana bermian dalam liga yang kompetitif. Bukan saya menidakkan liga Singapura tapi kena lebih realistik kalau nak sama-sama maju dalam bola sepak. Malaysia beruntung sebab ada feeder team untuk team2 yang berada di liga super. Jadi tiada masalah untuk cari player muda. Cumanya konsisten player untuk tenang dalam setiap game kurang sebabnya tak biasa bermian dalam pertandingan di peringkat asia bersama kelab mereka.

Singapore Football is a good reflection of Singapore government. It was the best during 1st generation leaders time. 2nd generation leaders pour lots of $$$$$ n resources into it, not much result. Under 3rd generation leaders , it started to dive. 4th generation leaders will dive deeper.....😂

Singapore football is turning from bad to worst ....our last achievement was e Asean Championship winner in 2012...since the coach left, for e past 11 years our football has been declining and declining...now they can't even beat Laos ....and even lose to team like Cambodia and Burma...let alone to win against Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam and Thailand...But e 7-0 defeat was very embarrassing....against e Tigers which we used to on par with them...Now Spore football team has become hopeless...how to save them from even heavier defeat in e near future!!??
It was a dismal performance and utterly embarrassing result for Singapore. The standards between the two teams are worlds apart. This group of players from Singapore simply cannot make it. Can't even display basic and simple techniques. The fact is, the bulk of the players selected (with the exception of maybe the goalkeeper) don't deserve to don the national jersey, such a disgrace to the national colors.
The young lions team playing in the s-league is the reason why we are where we at now. Losing is a habit and the players have a false sense of security and entitlement that their place in the age group national team and maybe even the senior team is secured.
These young players need to fight for their spot in the team and disperse back to other clubs and play with all the other players, not just amongst themselves. It's the only way they can progress and improve not only as individual players but also learn to play cohesively as a team unit with different sets of players.
10 years is enough. the initial ones are either gone or too old already. lets face it, we just cant play football and are just wannabes

SGP got a pool of talent in youth football but the hype were too much given on Fandi' sons, it's like without Irfan, Ikhsan or Ilhan, the team cannot progress or doomed to fail so stop rely on them, just nurture the given talent that caught up in the pool rather too much rely on Fandi's sons..
We appreciated on what Fandi's sons contribution to SGP football but at the same time SGP football must always progressive by helping another good talent and skill player rather than just rely on those guys..

Philippe Aw is a joke, young lions is a joke...
One of those decisions is to have appointed Philippe Aw as the coach of the Young Lions side for the ongoing SEA Games.
Aw, who led the Young Lions in 2021, and finished bottom of the table in the Singapore Premier League, was given yet another chance to lead the team again for the 2023 season.
In comments given to the Straits Times following the team’s second defeat at the Prince Stadium in Phnom Penh, Aw has himself conceded that it is over for the Young Lions.
He told the Straits Times, “The most points we can gather from our next two matches is six.
“In a group of five, six points are not going to be enough.”
Football fans are understandably up in arms.
Singapore has failed to make the semi-finals of the biennial Games since 2013.
Even before Aw, young lions is already bottom. Since Aide Iskandar. The rot starts from the top.
