Indonesia has repeatedly lost to being runner up but has never provoked the thai team, but this year indonesia won and beat thailand not accepting defeat, instead provoking indonesian players. From the beginning, before competing in the final, the thai players at the press conference said that indonesian supporters should not come because they would definitely lose (actually thailand itself was already afraid of facing indonesia). At the beginning of the commotion, you can see the full broadcast starting from the thai team equalizing 2-2, the goal scorer and a number of thai players and staff celebrating running towards the bench of the indonesian team and even crashing one of the indonesian players. This was an unnecessary provocative act and when indonesia succeeded in leading again 3-2 the staff and players on the bench returned the celebration towards the thai bench but instead they did not accept it..

When Thailand scored become 2-2 the injury time was more than 10 minutes. It was supposed to be 7 minutes. The fault was in the referee. Indonesia is kind winning only 2-1 but Thailand asked for some more goals, so we gave them extra 3 goals.

Indonesia was leading 2-1, but at around seven minutes of injury time, Yotsakorn Burapha of Thailand scored an equalizer to make it 2-2. Seeing this, Thai coaches and other team ran to Indonesia’s technical area to provoke their Indonesian counterparts.
Around one minute of extra time, Irfan Jauhari of Indonesia made it 3-2, and the Indonesians on the sidelines decided to let the Thais taste their own medicine by charging to their dugout. Fighting ensued, and this time included a few players on the field.
Police intervened, and the match continued after the referee issued a flurry of red cards for both sides.
Indonesia came out victorious, 5-2.

When Thailand scored level 2-2 I felt like my childhood trauma reenacted, Indonesia has been afflicted with "eternal runner up curse" for 32 years in SEA Games and we have yet won first place in AFF.
But then Indonesia "shock therapy'ed" Thailand in the extra time start to make it 3-2 it calmed me a little bit. The incident made me angry but thankfully the referee gave more red card to the Thai side. The next goals made me laugh especially the last goal from Beckham Putra that sealed the victory, I screamed "mampus!" (Indonesian/Malay profanity literally means "die!" but in English it's equivalent to something like "eat that sh**!") very loudly at the screen, I think that'd be the only time I screamed that word on a football game.

As an Indonesian, i agree that it's frustrating for thailand to lose the match, but this has gone WAY too far.
