Doubt (or any other "negative" thought/feeling) doesn't mean we're doing something wrong or that there is something wrong with us. That was SUCH a relief for me to discover 10 years ago. What do you think? XO Mary
Oh yes I certainly do feel doubt. As you know I’ve been producing content for Insight Timer. I levelled up my game in the last couple of weeks with a goal to get as much quality content on there as possible. Of course that takes some work. And in the middle of it all I suddenly felt swamped with doubt, like “is this the right thing to do, am I doing it right, is any of my stuff any good’ blah blah blah. I choose to ignore it , carry on and see if it would pass. Sure enough 24 hours later I was all motivated again! It’s such a relief not to be buffered by these normal human emotions. Not to think they ‘mean’ something!
I love how you explained this. When we aren’t being tossed around anymore, we can enjoy the ride that is this thing called LIFE no matter what happens. It doesn’t mean we don’t feel pain, but we no longer have to suffer. Thanks for watching and for being here. ❤
It's interesting that we are conditioned to be so attentive to our thoughts and feelings. I am currently reading The Sedona Method and in a nutshell they invite you fully feel whatever is coming up for you and to release and let go of any thought or feeling that you perceive as negative in any moment. Enjoy the basketball game tomorrow:)
Hi Kiran! Thank you for watching today. We certainly don't have to do anything to "fix" these feelings/thoughts -- such a relief. "See" you tomorrow! XO Mary
