I think it becomes about trusting yourself to do the next step and not needing to know everything beforehand. It's a way more freeing and expansive way to live, not to mention you get to be open to seeing new opportunities which aren't always visible when you have such a detailed long term plan!
Hi Kiran! I’m so glad you mentioned trust. To me, there is nothing to trust. We simply are reliable and always know what to do: it’s a given, a truth. And you’re so right about long-term planning. Yes, yes, yes Mary! Sometimes not knowing all the steps beforehand has hindered me a lot of the time. But since starting following my dreams 4days ago, I have just followed whatever ideas I’m being presented with each day, without worrying or focusing on the bigger picture. It’s so freeing! 🥳🔥🙌

I know the steps I need to take, and still don't take them. As I think about it, I question whether it's because the steps I need to take don't feel as though they bring me closer to my vision. They are all ways to help me generate income so I can do what I need to build my business. I guess, when you get down to it, they are necessary to bring my vision to fruition. I think I get overwhelmed when I look at building a business while working 4 part-time jobs. I wonder how I will have the energy to do it.
Hi Susan: Wow, you're really doing some important self-discovery in these comments! We don't know what steps will bring our vision to fruition. We are only obliged to take one, and then take the next one (whatever it is!). Just start. Then things will get clearer. And then they'll get muddy again ... and so it goes. XO
Yes Mary! And the steps that are in front of us are usually simple and easy to take even if they take a bit of effort. I love that we do t actually know what the purpose of the step is. I make up what it means but ultimately the bigger purpose is never obvious from the steps.
It’s funny because I never intended to do book marketing and now I’m on my fourth client! I still wouldn’t say that I do book marketing but I do what shows up and then that leads to somewhere 🎉
