- Here you will see 57 LAPD Units responding to a Citywide Tactical Alert in Hollywood. Due to large protests units from all over Los Angeles responding units from West, Valley, South & Central Bureaus
Date: Sunday, March 10th 2024
LAPD one of the very few PDs that still run the crown vic, glad to see those vehicles still making its round fighting crime.
Orange County purchases 11 thousand of them before they went out of production and have been storing them in the desert, replacing their fleet when they need to.
@RainbowManification huh? Which agency? Orange county, California?
Most of the GED cars are vics metro still has alot of vics and I know West traffic has a ridiculous amount of crown vics in the parking structure most guys just roll with the exploder.
?
We have them here in Tucson. I drive an 08 and love it!
Got a model from each generation responding at 2:14
All those slicktops 🤩🤩
Incredible catches!! Awesome to see the crown Vic’s still rolling!
Am article as of December 2023 said they still have 429 of them in service still
@@WilleJamesHuff That number is actually for the LASD. LA has a LOT of Vics still in service.
Holy crap. A few months back we had a tactical alert for protests and i only caught about 20 of the units. So cool to see the full response of all those units code 3. Love the slicktops
The three generations of Explorers at 2:20 from newest to oldest was a sick catch! Long live the Crown Vic!
glad to see the crown vics still being used instead of those ugly ass explorers
gotta love the CVPI still in action, nice catches :)
personally didn't even know LAPD had the Taurus, cool to see.
Nice catches!
Let’s play a game, how many EVs can you spot, 3 minutes in and I have already counted 10 lol
Crown Vics still in the mix in LA? The few places that I've seen them they are either manning road construction or used by crossing guards.
Fewer and fewer LAPD Crown Vics on the streets every day… cherish these moments folks
Most of them just sit in the parking structures. Alot of the guys pick the exploders over them.
I wonder what's the fate of the Interceptor Sedan in LAPD. Since they're much rarer than the Crown Vic it seems.
@@TimDragonDeckers they too get over looked for the explorer I know at Pacific and WLA most of the time they’re chilling in the lot
Awesome! Really hoping to still catch an LAPD Crown Vic myself somehow…🤞🏼
Good luck!
@@westlaresponsevideos4094 Thanks! Any recommendations for the best spots to catch an LAPD response in LA…? 😅
I see them pretty rarely, but I see them, it’s kind of a luck thing
Never seen a CVPI slicktop with grille lights before at 8:59
that shit looks fucking badass right? it commands like a certain feeling i just really love it i use to see these back in 2006 in south los angeles
Gang units use those also.
@@Mike_Greentea my point is the grille lights on a crown vic with LAPD. Never seen those
Ẁe never got the crown vics down under but we had the aussie built Ford falcons till 2017 then the Holden SS till bout the same time and theys also cut of the Holden Statesman aka Chev Caprice PPV from you guys aswell.
Now we have BMW'S & VW"S bloody euro trash not at all suited too our conditions.
Great Video Maye keep it up.
My police department is already decommissioning a majority of their chargers I never thought I’d see the day crown Vic’s out lasted the chargers but it happened.
love the vic
I think franklin,Michael and trevor are doing a asault 😂😂😂
Great catch! Now police forces use only SUVs, mostly Ford Explorers.
Why do they turn their lights off when they pull up on scene?
No need to have them on. Either flip it to code 2 or shut them off. Scene is already secured with marked cars running lights
I was looking for a Bearcat or 2 😂
Hope it doesn’t turn to 2020 2.0
bro this year is pretty much 2020 4.0
It's like a Jeremy Dewitte Metro State nightmare alternate universe....!
Sargent!!!
LIVE LIVE THE COUNTRY OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA THE USA IS ON THE RISE AND CHINA IS LEFT BEHIND
Whoa what’s a tactical alert? Sick catches!!
My guess would be a “all unit” call,
I have never heard it which is good, but sad for my channel lol
I assume it’s a panic button or something
@@toolifystudios yeah, that’s what I was thinking my brain wasn’t functioning properly and I was like “WHAT IS IT CALLED?!” and just decided to put all unit lol
@@toolifystudios no this was for a protest
A citywide tactical alert for the LAPD is when officers are moved up to a certain location for man power needs. Officers are no longer free to go home, they are placed on over time or called into their shifts early due to an unusual occurrence in the city such as a this protest. In this case, officers from other divisions are allowed to respond from their outside division to this location code 3. They are then deployed into a mobile field force to handle this situation.
Great catches!
Jeeeeez, Nice catches!
I wonder why LAPD don’t have the guards on the front like most agencies. That seems dumb to not have them.
I think only traffic units have them.
Are the fpiu slick tops new standard or just gang units?
Gang units
They also have the slicktop solid color explorer Swat team uses. U can see them roll from the Inland Empire code3 along the 210 frwy when requested
Wow, It's great catches
Kinda thought SWAT would be dispatched lol
What were the protests about?
I believe it was a pro Palestinie protest in front of the place that had the Oscar's award show being taped.
@@toddmaddoxthey can go protest in that country then
Я из России. Обожаю crown Victoria. Рад, что ещё на службе
Nice catchin
Cool catches but the protests have to be over something dumb
Nice catches!
Glad you enjoyed it
Why the exercise?
What was going on ?
there was a protest
The best video so far
Too bad they cannot arrest anybody.
My uncle is retired LAPD one of his citywide tact alert was February 28, 1997
Yeah right
North Hollywood high incident! Right?
@@Jaydoggish yes
@@kennymcdonald9971beat it on punk
Great catches!
