I think the crown vics should be used as kind of training cars. Yknow when new officers are coming in they are in trained in crown vics instead of the expensive new cars but either way, I am proud to say that I am extremely happy the crown vics are still serving the Citizens of Las Angeles and Las Angeles county in perfect condition for this day and age.

Wow, just north of where I used to work for McCormick Ambulance in unincorporated Willowbrook (Station 2 at Avalon and 120th). Surprised that close there weren't any Sheriff's responding to an "Officer Needs Help" call as well since their patrol area is only a few blocks away
SOMEBODY really needs to give the lights some attention! Many of the cars were responding Dark (NO lights), REAR-ONLY turned on, or were poorly equipped for safe and efficient response! Just because you have a light, doesn't mean it's effective! And, Just like I said about Steve McGarret back in the original Hawaii 5-0, you gotta have the visual (lights) to identify where the siren is coming from!! Cops (AND FF AND EMS) forget that THEY know what they're doing, where they are going, and what their intentions are, the general population just get scared!
It's sad what officers in LA and other metro areas of California go through. I stand firm in my belief that if cut these areas off from civil society we'd be much better off. Give them their own CHAZ/CHOP type bs. I don't even understand why those officers even try. Sometimes you need to allow the anarchy and let Darwinism play out.
