Wow, finally catching up on your Chinny vids. I absolutely love this song. When I first heard this a few years ago it went on my play rotation, after I wore it out. Out of all her songs this one is my favorite still. "Trigger" and "know no" a close second that get played the most. I love 5 :1 and cut you off but have to be in the mood, same with fingers, little girl gone. Wow!!! Like I eluded to in another comment, I think I might have found my new favorite channel!! I binged a bunch of your reactions, but didn't go all the way back to the beginning, were you the one that used to film yourself actually watching a monitor/TV instead of doing the picture in picture thing?? If so, sorry I didn't realize your unique blend of talent, sass, knowledge, love of music and lack of fucks given for those who don't appreciate you, back then. I admittedly can be a little bit of an audio-visual snob when it comes to my consuming content, especially music related content. Besides all that, appears that you're a fellow gen Xer like myself, and it sounds like life's been kicking your ass and you keep getting up for more, I like that in a person. I can't relate on the physical health part, not that I'm a picture of health...lol, but as far as mental health, (ptsd, anxiety, panic disorder, from former career, but that's for another day) losing my best friend, family betrayal BS, yadda yadda yadda, I feel like I can relate on the day to day struggle to stay positive and not just throw in the towel, if any of that makes sense. Plus I've been loving some of the artist comparison's you throw out from time to time, like Tracy Chapman, and you compared someone to a "back in the day Jewel", attitude wise, which I thought was spot on!! Plus I LOOOOOVE Jewel, saw her once on her acoustical tour, just her and a guitar, small venue of about 4500 people, one of the best 2 hours of my life!! I've been at the point recently that I'm about to right off reaction channels all together, I can't tell ya how many I've been on board with 1000 subs or less, and watch them get too big for their britches, or just ones that never shut about being real and it "being all about the subs and the music" and then sell out and shit all over everyone. I'm not saying that to say "you better not do that", or anything, and I understand after so many subs, it's not feasible in any sense, to give your subs that attention and read every comment, like you can when you first start out, but there are ways to navigate larger and larger amount of subs without shutting them out completely. And don't even get me started on dono requests, since the beginning of this year, I've made 5 song requests on 5 different channels, and I never donate less than $25, I've only had one of those 5 reactors actually react to my request so far. I would suggest setting a minimum/maximum donation for requests......PAUSE......forget that, I'm going off on a tangent, when I just came here to simply tell you I enjoy your channel, and a little about me, plus I try not to tell content creators what they should n shouldn't do, sorry. I've never thought of embracing it in that way. My therapist usually encourages me to try to push my comfort zone and get back to being more social, which I agree I need to do too. My agoraphobia has gotten better, and it's never been bad in the summer months, it's also never been debilitating to the point I can't leave my house, I'm fine with going to a local park to fly my drones, or running errands around town. It's more about big crowds, or being in fairly crowded places that are unfamiliar to me where (I learned through therapy), I would have less control of a situation if something happens. I was a career firefighter/medic for 27yrs, that's where that kind of crap comes from..lol. So, while I'm no doctor, I do have a little better grasp on medical stuff than the average bear, so if its a ailment or condition you've had, I've probably picked up someone in my ambulance with something similar. So if you ever want to vent to someone that understands the medical jargon, I'm all ears! I can see why you're drawn to Ren so much, well there's many reasons to be drawn to Ren, but I see you have a couple good reasons. My son's mom, (never married, college one-night stand, but remained close friends) passed away two years ago, technically from complications after hip surgery (she was 49), always sick and worn down in her later years. I had only briefly heard of M.E./CFS when I was still on the job, but after discovering Ren, and my penchant for research on issues I should have been aware of, especially medical stuff, I think there's a good chance that's what she was suffering from. Just the other day I finally watched that documentary, "Unrest", have you watched it yet? It's about ME/CFS, there's a short clip of Ren in it, back when he was not doing well at all, before he knew it was Lyme disease, and they also feature one of his songs in the documentary. It's a heartbreaking watch, but it's done extraordinarily well, and ends with some positivity and lots of love throughout. The woman and her husband who made it are amazing!! Hmmm, I'll save Tommy boy for another day, I joke about my feelings on him to keep it light, but a lot of the the reasons I feel the way I do, has nothing to do with me hatin' to be hatin, or not liking his music. It has to do with how dangerous him and his messaging are, and how under the radar that messaging is. So I don't want to come off hard core angry, or trying to make you not be a fan, I just want people to know the truth, and I don't spill the truth until at least the 5th or 6th date!! 😂😂........ ✌💚
