Alessia Carra was first asked to do it . . Her and The Warning share international management , it was their idea to put Carra and TW together as she is pop and TW knew how to work the the song . . .

A stunning rendition of this iconic song! Another young group that covered "Enter Sandman" very well is called Liliac(Lilly-Ack). If you like this song, I think you will really like it as well!

This video is quite old - Ed was about 21 here, and he's 33 now.! And he still performs this song at every show - only using his voice, guitar, and looper!

This is the first track on Metallica's *Black List* album. They killed it by doing a complete rearrangement of the song, but keeping the original lyrics. Alessia Cara collaborated with them on the album track and the original music video they did, and appears as a backing track when they play it live. The OMV is worth watching, if only because Pau dresses up as Wednesday Addams from the Addams Family to do the prayer in a little girl voice that is creepy as hell! Any way they do it, The Warning are amazingly creative and performative. It's fun to watch reactors encounter this one for the first time, especially if they don't know about the rearrangement.

The music comes from a cover version of The Rolling Stones song "The Last Time" by The Andrew Oldham Orchestra. The Verve sampled this in "Bitter Sweet Symphony" and then the story gets messy ... put it this way, Ren is at risk of the Rolling Stones coming after him!

Poetry put to music (the cello drags at the end 😍)- a real love letter to Britain and like so many places, look past the many faults there may be and you will see the astonishing beauty that lies hidden under the surface. I'm not surprised to hear that Ren is in a much happier place now he is home after so long away and this shines through in this performance. Great reaction These ladies also covered Metallicas Atlas Rise there is 2 versions, one was in their basement studio and another is live at the whiskey 2 or 3 years after the one in the basement It would be awsome if you did a reaction to both:)

We both saw this song played by Metallica on the Black album tour. I absolutely love this reimagined version, figured you would too. 22 20 and 17 at this concert. They had 10 days to do the song and music video with Alessia, 7 days of recording time, during lockdown, Alessia recording in Canada and TW in Mexico. Dany is singing Alessia's parts here, but they kept her ooh's and ahh's on backing track. In the music video, Pau does the prayer. Metallica told them to rearrange it, said they didn't care if it was turned upside down or played backwards, just don't change the lyrics. They aced that assignment. 🤘🤘 The guitar Dany is playing is the Gibson Explorer that was gifted to her by Lzzy Hale , not long before this concert. At another show, Lzzy came out on stage, mid TW set, and presented it to her. Dany thought she got to borrow Lzzy's guitar. After the set , Lzzy told her it was hers, with the stipulations of rocking the hell out of it, and pay it forward down the road.

Pau's phenomenal drumming is best seen with "Dust to Dust" - Teatro Metropolitan is a great performance to see this.

The great thing about the warning is u will never run out of content. They work harder then all of us. "Black holes" not rabbit holes... DOOGIE

I really like this version of the song and appreciate the skill, training and natural ability it took to create it. I've said it before and I'll say it many times more I'm sure, but listening to these young women gives me confidence in the future of rock and roll.

To reimagine a classic like ES and create such an awesome song with Alessia Cara for Metallica in 10 days during Covid is quite impressive. I love the harmonies in their version it makes the song for me. To leave the iconic riff until the end is genius really enjoyed your reaction thank you.🔥⚡

Well, I guess 8 years of practice really pays off. I'm not a huge Metallica, I do own a few of their CDs, and if they come on the radio, I turn it up. That said, these young ladies killed this. There are few covers that are equal to, or sometimes better, than the original. All Along the Watchtower by Jimi Hendrix, The Sound of Silence and Land of Confusion by Disturbed, No Matter What by Def Leppard to name a few.

Metallica asked them to keep the lyrics but do your own thing, they didn't realize they wrote this song so many years ago for The Warning.

That guitar she's playing was given to her in the middle of a set. When they toured With, and opened for Halestorm. Lzzy Hale walked out and handed it to Dany during a guitar change.. Lzzy had bought it and had it set up the way Dany likes her guitars. The official music video with Alessia Cara is absolutely brilliant.. ✌️🦈🦈🦈🦈
