I've been waiting! Amazing collection! My favourite moment was getting a TPK during the tutorial. Lion roared and one survivor went mad, wounded another survivor and started a chain reaction that required a restart. Or maybehaving to use a reroll token to NOT get a crit with muramasa to prevent the death of the last woman in settlement.
Sorry for the late comment on an archive…but wow…this is probably the best video in the entire board game space. Inspiring and tons of foresight.. some of those minis are so collectible now that they are going for well over a thousand dollars. Again sorry for the latent response.
I had so much KD stuff, I got on board with his 4th mini way back before KDM etc. sold them all to cover some medical stuff 😕 I had 2 grab bags of death and soooo many first runs inc the king etc You’ve got some great stuff

Just wanted to ask because, the community, lore, gameplay and every part of it hooked me into this with quackalope's video hahahah. What pledge manager exactly to they open to newcomers? I might go save in money for it just to get my hands on a copy and join the community as well hahahaha.
I've always kind of wondered who else was in the 'resin beta' group with me :) I also wonder how many made it into the wild, since a LOT of people were upset that it ended up being 'just' the models and backed out of those pledges. I feel that may be one of the rarest gems in the line, short of non-production stuff like the busts.

@@Quackalope There is a resin kingdom death griffon on ebay right now, starting bid $400, it looks enormous, it has a person in its mouth that looks tiny compared to the whole griffon.

😍 ohhhh wow... nice to see this Minis of you collection. I love KD:M but never really went for the first run resins, knowing that I would spend way to much money to get every Mini. Just have a Ringtail Survivor Variant and Number 0 Ringtail Fox 🥰 (love Foxes... Had to get my hands on them and was lucky) Otherwise I just go with models that have game related Stuff like lore or equipment. Thanks for this video.

I stumbled over a few Pictures of painted KDM-Miniatures in the last year. It took me a while to find out, from where this rather strange tipes of Miniatures came from. (And I neaded some time to find out, what Kingdom Death Monsters really is.) I must say: I have an itch for this game. So its good, that you can't get it on the normal Market, as it seams, at the moment. Nothing to say: I would love to paint a few of this Miniatures after all.
Ooof this only scares me away from KDM, as this shows the developers don't know what kind of game they want to do. Lots of cancelled projects and one shot limited production models. On top of that, they just aren't models but are characters that tell the players more about the lore of the game. And sadly these stories will never be told to the KDM community.

It's Just as a potential interested consumer, whom is already kind of concerned with all the entry barriers involved with KDM; it doesn't ease my mind seeing that there are literally dozens of additional releases for this game. Many of which aren't in production for whatever reason. I would feel more comfortable when the developers reach a state of v2.0 or maybe even 3.0.
@@crushingit5128 I see what you are saying - but many many of the stories and expansions are complete within themselves. The world is more expansive than the game - but the game and many storylines have endings.
i think i have a #1 sunstalker infant from back before the game was released. i might be wrong about which model it is as it's been years and it's in storage currently...but i know i have a #1 of something. i think i have a pretty low number Wet Nurse as well.
Heya Quackalope, thanks for the vid! I think you missed out on the Lion Knight, turns out there's 2 version of this model. The one with the lion head that came with the plastic expansion, and the other is a resin one that looks like a dude with herpes
KDM. One of the not many games that still has the balls to produce sexy female heroes / survivors. Nearly every boardgame channel these days cries about "female objectification". (SUandSD about Conan) Poots: Buy my newest Pinup KDM model! :D

Totally makes sense - and honestly I think is the best way to first approach the kdm hobby XD - you will spend hundreds every month on gameplay alone!

XD that’s awesome - I love moments like that in a game!! We had a TPK that ended with a survivor running into the black!!

I build mostly gameplay and encore models - it comes down to a time event for me - it’s a massive project to build everything.

I don’t think that’s accurate :) - but I can understand with the amount of floating stories and worlds your apprehension.
