When the "Air Guitar" guys were given the offer that asked them to give up 51% and controlling interest in the company, that would be when I would start saying "Why would we give you controlling interest in OUR company? You see, you offering us that deal tells us you know it's going to be highly successful, and that tells us to hang on to our company and try selling out product to the actual guitar manufacturers."
You could say that but at the end of the day you are taking a risk that things work out for you if you turn down a guaranteed contract for the probability of making more on your own. Amy of these pitchers could walk out of the studio and be hit by a truck and paralyzed, unable to work anymore. Sharks are only experts for some businesses but not all industrial verticals. When a person value things, is biased to their own values e.g. lipsticks, notebooks, flowers for love ones. I use Coffee Meets Bagel now, it does not do any of the things they said. It's lame and limited. Choices are no better than all the other dating sites. As for Zero shoes, they made it big. We've been using Kodiak Cakes products since they first hit shelves. They are the best pre-mixed option on the market. The nutritional values are amazing and they taste great. Xero Shoes suck so bad I ended up with Plantar Fasciitis in both feet. It cost over $1,000 for the corrective leg/foot braces and months of excruciating pain. CBS Shrimp Burgers are OK but they've been making them in Japan for ages and they're so much better.
Xero Shoes. I've totally changed the shoes I wear to all Xero Shoes. Never had a shoe collection, but I'm stuck on Xeros, and they've changed my foot health, and my feet have never felt so good.
I've been a musician for most of my 56 years on earth. As a guitar player, I'd say the Voyage air guitar is just a novelty. A very expensive, 800 to 2800, novelty. The motion of constantly completely loosening and tuning would drastically reduce the life of the strings. Not sure it would do much in the way of saving space for a professional musician. I'm curious what changes in humidity would do to the neck alignment over time.
Okay so the foldable guitar thing doesn’t sound like a good idea based on how guitars actually work but the fact that fender picked them up makes me think it’ll be okay.
I know there is a whole school of thought with shoes that think less shoe is better. So, I could totally see how they think it would be a good idea. A little knowledge can go a long way if your investing in something.

It's funny to think that Jamie (The RING creator) showed up on Shark Tank as a shark in a future episode.
Sharks are only experts for some businesses but not all industrial verticals. When a person value things, is biased to their own values e.g. lipsticks, notebooks, flowers for love ones. That's why I always wonder how you can just evaluate a company without doing a detail research in the specific sector.
They passed on DDP YOGA as well. I’m glad all these start ups did well.
That doorbot/ring app was really the one that got away!
What were the Sharks thinking rejecting Ring? That was really dumb on their part. My grandma has one, and loves it.
The sisters ‘no’ hilarious 😂😂 like are you insane?! Respect
I've been using a Rocketbook for a couple years, I had no idea they had been on Shark Tank.
Those shrimp burgers sound like a great idea for Catholics during Lent since you can’t eat red meat during that time
I've had them and they're bomb!. Just make sure when you make them that people aren't allergic to shellfish 😐
Just eat some ceviche
Eating shellfish is an abomination.
I'd love to get a hold of some to try.
The flower guy knew what’s up.
Flowers are expensive, his company literally offers better prices by taking longer delivery times.
Love how there's an ad for Xero shoes in this video 😂😂
Coatchex' success made me really happy after those middle-aged know-it-all guys roasted the younger guy. Sharks being scared to take a risk...😄😄😄
well risks are dangers
I use Coffee Meets Bagel now, it does not do any of the things they said. It's lame and limited. Choices are no better than all the other dating sites.
As for Zero shoes, they made it big. Their sandals are expensive with minimal material but there is a huge trend on barefoot footwear nowadays and people love these. The brand is worth a ton more now.
I absolutely LOVE my Bedjet - it's amazing, especially for people with medical needs or night sweats.
It probably saves energy over running the AC all night!
1 pitch shark tank rejected was DDP Yoga. It helped many wrestlers & people & when the investors said no, the company went & helped many more people & wrestlers in WWE & launched an app. Now their doing successful with a yoga studio & helping people overcome addiction.
Funniest thing about Shark tank is most of those "Sharks" are more like guppies in the venture capital world, even as they try to sell it differently to gullible entrepreneurs/public.
Rocketbook's are amazing! It was the greatest thing when I was in college and is great for work as well! The new design has the ink wash away with water instead of popping it in the microwave which I like so much better! But I have bought so many of them for friends and family.
A terrific product!
Love the Rocketbook...I have almost all of the different styles they have developed. I love being able to WRITE notes and convert them to digital information.
Proving the "masters of the universe" aren't all that masterful, after all.
HAH! I just saw a Xero shoes ad right before this video @14:30 and I thought to myself, during the ad, wow that kinda looks like Chris Chan lol
I have a bed jet and I freaking love it.
Shaquille O'neal became one the investors of the Ring, and all he did was babysit the founder's kid while in a meeting.
I’m surprised Shaq hasn’t gone on Shark Tank as an investor! He’s got investments in all kinds of things, & a lot of money to play with.
The soap nut we use it in Indian villages since a long long time 🤨we used to wash hair with it
dang, never knew that Ring was on ST. That one really has to hurt. Most people I know have at least the doorbell, if not more ring products.
Okay so the foldable guitar thing doesn’t sound like a good idea based on how guitars actually work but the fact that fender picked them up makes me think it’ll be okay.
Those Kodiak pancakes are *awesome!* I absolutely love them!! Those sharks lost out big time, lol! 😀
19:12 You guys forgot to add, that Jamie is now a guest shark.
I know there is a whole school of thought with shoes that think less shoe is better. So, I could totally see how they think it would be a good idea. A little knowledge can go a long way if your investing in something.
I’ve been wanting a bed jet so bad. Those radiators aren’t doing what they need to. Never knew they were on shark tank now I need it
I love Lip Bar ! They have moved to lip gloss and I’m here for it.
That last one (first pick) gave me chills!!!!!!!!!! Woooooowww he never gave up on that amazing idea!! He's saved so many lives with that invention woooooowww
the RING guy is now worth more than most of them aside from Cuban.... Robert could've doubled up his networth lol
Sharks: “I’m jealous so for that reason.. im out”
A shrimp burger? I'd like to try that I love shrimp!
Trust me they're good. But at first all admit I was hesitant, after finishing the first burger I was hooked.
I think he rocketbook's genuise is it's novelty value and how many ppl would wanna check it out to see if it works...i sure would, I think it's wild as hell.. that and for ppl who keep a journal but wanna be able to to erase it's contents quick if necessary lol
Irony the commercial before this played was Xeroshoes lol. And I love the Kodiak Cakes to go, it's amazing and convenient. And excellent with honey 😁😁😁
Kodiak cakes. 100%. Im obsessed. The protein version. Right now the pumpkin one. I have tried other protein pancake mixes and I keep coming back to kodiak.
Anyone else go on Amazon and order some Meal Enders to try after watching this?
Definitely thinking about it, lol!
Yup! They’re sold out, though.
I have owned my bedjet for approx 10 yrs. I absolutely LOVE it!
I totally forgot that Ring was a Shark Tank product!!
Thanks for the interesting video, Becca .
My family legitimately uses Kodiak Cakes a ton. We have multiple boxes in our pantry
Not gonna lie... Kodiak Cakes are really good. One of my nieces gave me a box of it for Christmas, and it is a damn good pancake mix.
I was hoping to see DDPY on this list cause Diamond Dallas Page has continued to do well with his Yoga program since being on the show
Can't believe it's been a little over a decade now that this amazing reality business show's been on television. So glad I was lucky enough to experience it
Well Kodiak did their job, because we have it here in southern California just about in every store
That Copa de Vino invention was on Dragon's Den years ago. They were turned down but made a success anyway. The obviously didn't patent in the States though lol
I don't know if they have a patent in the US but it's definitely sold there. I've bought it at gas stations - its ok wine!
LOL Good thing they all walked cause the Sharks would've just screwed things up and for that reason alone.......I'm Out!!. 😆😂🤣
"6 days is too long to deliver flowers"
how long do you think it takes to deliver flowers to the supermarket before they are put on the shelves?
The supermarket I use to work at only had weekly deliveries so some flowers were sitting out on display on a room-temp shelf for 7 days and still get bought.
Well done to these people. Successful without the “Shark Leeches” trying to screw them over!
I love Xero Shoes! I own 4 pairs at this point and am just waiting on another to come back into stock in my size.
Ever stub a toe??
A pass doesn't mean it was a bad idea, just that the deal offered wasn't good enough.
Soap nuts..ah, we have similar plant in Java island. Used to wash hand made natural dyed Batik, our traditional cloth as it doesn't last well when it's washed with soap..
Kodiak cakes is definitely laughing their way to the bank! All of their products are delicious... and nutritious 😁
The DDPY (Diamond Dallas Page Yoga) was a huge one that was passed on.
Rebrand the video as "Top 20 Rejected Shark Tank Pitches that became successful because they exploited the free exposure the program gave them"
They mention exposure throughout the video
That's how things work , plus the sharks are known to be half retarded only using cash they inherited thus why the sharks are so dumb
@@timothyscott1951 most of them are self made, albeit some made their wealth in especially lucky one in a million circumstances.
#1 is my absolute FAVOURITE, on account that the dude came back to become one of the Sharks. 😂
Another good one is the SkyRide. Was rejected and is now on Carniva cruise lines.
What was that one? I think I saw it, but can’t remember. Was it a kind of zip line?
I love the bouqs co. Their flowers are amazing and so beautiful
2:33
I LOVE Kodiak cakes! My family buys their waffles every time we go Walmart.
