    Yo Art,
    What a fantastic step by step tutorial of the entire process.
    Really great job.
    I like how you made a provision for future removal of the door panel. I like the hot glue gun idea for putting the reflector back. This should help a lot of folks.

      Hey Chuck thanks. You are the real hero here! It’s a really cool project and yes it’s a long video but anyone can do it if I can. at least now there is a video out there for those that have nothing else to do on their panther and want to have a fun little project!

    Good job! Being a mechanic I had to watch. The only thing I would have done different is use the same type wire FORD did. 👍

      Thanks, it was a fun project actually, but pretty easy I’d say. Now I have to do the back doors as well,

    That's awsome. I always wanted my door markers I'm my Crown Vic to work. You can use spade connectors to connect the wires so you can plug and unplug the wires and have a good connection.

      @LoveWhatYouDrive I'll keep you informed. Them lights gives it more of a Luxury look. Especially at night.

    That would have been a good time to led the floor lights. Male/female connect the new wires for when you have to repair in the door later.

    I think if it was in yellow it would be good it matches the interior light color

    • @LoveWhatYouDrive
      @LoveWhatYouDrive  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That would look cool as well, or in fact this could open the door for any color the person would want. I plan on changing out the courtesy lights under the dash on driver side and passenger side…either just bright LED or maybe even red to match the doors…idk…thanks for stopping by though! 👍🏼

    I would mention that these were lighted on earlier models but it got deleted later to cheapen construction at the factory.

      Ye, the 94 Merc on the channel has them and they look great ! But we get some things that earlier models didn’t have but lose others! No problem, we make mods and upgrades ourselves 💪🏼👍🏼

    I own a 1994 Ford Marquis. There is a reflector on the door and its lights

      Ye sir! My friend has a 95 and he has one also in the door panel! It’s in my channel his car, a 95 Mercury Grand Marquis check it out!

      They were previously wired. It got deleted to cheapen construction later.

    Did you reuse your old door lenses? Or did you get new ones off of E-bay or Amazon

    • @LoveWhatYouDrive
      @LoveWhatYouDrive  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Hey thanks for stopping by! I did use my old ones, you just have to be careful not to break them when taking them off from the back. Chuck @PanzerPlatform sent me some aftermarket ones but I will use them in the rear door panels when I do part 2 of the video! They don’t fit as well as the oem ones.

    • @GrandPitoVic
      @GrandPitoVic ปีที่แล้ว +2

      That's great. I am subscribed to him as well. That is a good idea. Especially in the rear for when you open the door on the street. When you open your back doors at night you couldn't really see them. That's a collision waiting to happen.
