Shudder not happen when belt slip its happen when one of the switch valves in cvt transmission not work wright so it will lead that the pully not press the belt well so its slip this happens if the oil so dirty its closed the switch valves totaly or party,, or when electrical problems in them otherwise when u add product reduce the friction it may lead to shudder cause the pressure between pully and belt not enough to make traction and power transmit

I change my fluid in my 2019 civic coupe ex-t. Just today I did another drain and fill, but this time I added 10oz of lube gard. Only driven 15 miles, so we'll see if I notice anything. Technically I shouldn't feel anything, and I'm just hoping this helps.

Any updates? I feel like there’s no reason to put this until 15,000 miles. But anyways how do you like it so far? I just ordered mine today and currently on Amsoil CVT Fluid for my 2016 Civic Ex-T and 37,000 miles on CVT. I’ll be changing it soon and going with Redline CVT it has higher additive.
